Wen Ruibo vs Truls Moregard | MS R16 | #WTTChongqing 2026

Truels apologizes, but could come out of the serve receive alive. It'd be interesting to see how Morrigan could handle him in the rally. I said last year, I don't think it'll be long before Wembley is a top 10 player in the world. Look at him go, that is a top spin backhand. Backhand counter that you don't see too much from him. Oh, so good. Morrigan at his finest. Painting the table like the true attacking artist that he is. Watch this. He really has... To the roots. And then he bellows in success. An interesting first game there. Close to his chest. But it is notable to not see Morrigan try to top block the entire game. Maybe he's not confident in training with it. Could be as simple as that, but a beautiful backhand play. He doesn't mind making it dirty. It was the length really there that just caught Truels. Morrigan's a flow player, trying to disrupt him. Oh, and that is exquisite. I haven't seen Wembley play a long serve yet. That is just crackers right there. Morrigan, I mean I knew it with the forehand, but look at the backhand rip here from Truels. That's what he's really been working on. Oh, now that's a very Truelsian shot. With the backhand, having somehow got back to love. And Truels is beating himself up there. And he's within one. That is heroic. He went back, that served him well. This is a huge moment in this match. Listen to the 19-year-old. Tiling over a year. It's interesting. There's the chop block of Truels. Oh, it's off the edge. Same team as Simon Gauzy and Hennebont. And he actually beat Fan Zhendong in the Champions League. Oh, wow. What a point. It's a great serve. Went short. Loving what we're seeing. Is a statement. Was frustrated. Kicked out. Because he was just caught off balance. Almost pulled off an amazing recovery. Was recently taken out. Top Chinese players like Zhou Qihao would be one thing to beat. Greeted by a roar. Echoed by the crowd. Oh, he's tried to dig that out from underground. He enjoys the pressure. He loves it. But this young man. Right decisions. 100% right. Sometimes you're waiting for them to quieten down a little bit. That affected him. That was absolutely. The warning then about his vocals. 9-5. And he answers. With his play. But he is troubled. He does all he can do with his serve. The job. It's down to one point. And they backed him. And we have just seen. What we may look back on one day. As a huge moment. In this man's career. Remember where you were. A shatter through the glass ceiling.
