Wait until you see the bathrooms in this Manufactured Home....
Donnie! Yeah? Oh, what are you doing? Man, I'm standing here in front of 1145 and we're gonna
walk inside here and see what's going on. Oh yeah, it says 1145 on it. So we're looking at
mobile home number 1145. This is a big old double wide. Who makes this one Donnie? I have no clue.
But I would say it's in the 90s. Does it look Fleetwood-ish to you? I don't know. So we're
gonna go see how this thing's laid out. We are at an undisclosed location. Undisclosed.
Where they bring in new and used mobile homes. They got a bunch of them here. Look at this.
And they are kind enough to let people come down here and walk through them. They're for sale.
They usually want a little more than we want to pay for them, but it's interesting to look at them.
I heard a smoke detector. I heard one too. They let us go through them and see how they're laid
out. It's kind of fun to see how they used to be. So if we go in and we figure out this is a 2003
model Fleetwood or something, it's kind of cool to see how they were laid out that year. Where
the bedrooms are, where the bathrooms are, what kind of shape they're still in after all these
years. All these years. So we're going to walk around it first, take a look at the outside and
see what's going on with it, and then we'll head inside. So y'all come along with us.
Hey, there's two things I already see. Okay, what do you already see? The front of it ain't painted
like that one. So that means they probably ain't done no work to it. The steel eye beams.
And number two, it was a grab and go. They just split it and got on. Yep, they cut it apart with
a hacksaw. They hit it with the sawzall right through the plastic and got out of there. Look
at that. They were real close. Yeah, they were real close, but I said, nope, cut it. Let's go.
So they have just brought this one in not too long ago. You may remember this one.
Donnie did this one, I think a long time ago, or maybe not. Did you do this one, Donnie?
I don't know. It was sold. It says sold. I don't think I ever went in. We may have never done that one. I think we have actually.
That's the one with the smoke alarm. Okay, so the windows are the old style.
So they're not the vinyl kind of windows that you see on a little bit newer ones.
Yeah, they're kind of like these. They've got a frame inside. They're like a wooden
frame and there's two sets of windows. One for the outside and one for the inside.
So we'll see what's in there. Donnie always cheats and looks inside before we go in. You're supposed
to just be surprised, Donnie. The people want your natural reaction to the horrors that we find
inside these places. Now, I will say this one has the big overhangs on it. That's good.
You know, some of them, the overhangs only like this. Some of them, it's even smaller.
So, and there must have been a big deck or something here on the back, or you think that was
messed up from the skirting? The skirting. There was a deck though, because you can see the paint
on it. Oh, okay. But I think it was right there. It looks like. And right here, obviously. There's
a little dirt there. That's where one of the rails would have been. You know, that song says,
this is the queen of my double wide trailer with the polyester curtains and the redwood deck.
That had a redwood deck on it. That had a redwood deck on it. This must have been
a freaking Cadillac of mobile homes at one point. Look how wavy that thing is sitting here.
We're going to go up inside of it. I hope we don't fall through the flow.
We'll see. I think it may have already been moved once because look how they,
you know, look how they, the siding has been screwed around with. I think they may have
already moved it, set it up somewhere for the second time and then moved it again.
And I like you saying the power, instead of having quick disconnects, it
was, you know, pigtailed together or whatever, whatever. What do you think Donnie? What year
do you believe it is? I think it's nineties too, because of the windows. I would guess,
I would guess because of the windows. I've got the same redwood kind of looking paint on the
shutters too. That's cool. It's a decent looking home. It could probably be fixed up. I mean,
all of these, if you took a little time to clean them up, they'd be all right. The main problem
I see with them is whenever they've let animals urinate all over the floor and that really screws
you up. So I smell animal a little bit. You smell that? It's kind of hard to describe the smell.
It's not straight up. It's like animal, it's like pet dander more than urination. So this is the
living room, kind of standard. Opens into the dining room and the kitchen, also kind of standard.
We'll go in the back room here. Do what? Nice popcorn ceiling. Yep, got the old school popcorn
ceiling. It's in pretty good shape. Looks like maybe they've painted it. Now this gray crap,
they do that on all the walls of this place whenever they get something in. They've laid
down the flooring flat like they do sometimes with no stagger. That's all right. So this would
be the master bedroom. You can see some of the drywall is tweaked and ripped apart, I guess,
going down the road. Yeah, I think that's wallpaper on top. Oh yeah, yeah. Looks like
maybe they laid wallpaper on top of it. Yep, that's a good point. But you know, pretty good
shape. Yeah, that's wallpaper. Yeah, there's your wallpaper. So it's like a wood paneling wallpaper.
Let's look in this closet. We might see the original finish. Now this is like
actual drywall they used. So they've, at some point, somebody redid a lot of this, I think.
And at that point, I guess the wood paneling wallpaper seemed like a good idea.
I ain't never seen a bathroom like that either. All right, yeah. Yeah, I've never seen one like
that. What? What? Big lock? Deadbolt on it? Big deadbolt on the bathroom, on the bedroom door.
Yeah, so the bathroom is kind of interesting. I, like he said, I've never seen one like this.
It has a built-in, what do you call it, garden tub, but it's different than the ones I've seen.
And the bathroom's kind of small for it. Usually they're not like that, where they're,
you've got that big of a tub, but then it's just boxed in at the end like that.
Interesting. I've never actually seen one quite like that.
That's kind of crazy. It's got a sticker on it too, that they never took off.
Better bath components. So I suppose that's been on there the entire time.
So you'll notice that it is like a peach color. Is this peach, you think, Donnie?
Is that peach color, you think? What do you call that, tangerine? Donnie likes tangerine.
And then the wood thing, now this always gets wet, obviously, it's right next to the tub,
and starts falling apart eventually, which it's done. They may have replaced it at some point or
something, because that wood under it, I don't know. But, you know, it's built in like that.
So it originally had a big old tub in there, it's just I've never seen one built in like that.
You got the little mirror here, I mean the little window here,
and then the little small vanity with the plastic sink. Titan homes. All right,
whenever I'm in the bathroom, Donnie always goes and finds who made it.
That happens in every video if you go check. I think it's a 96. I think it's a 96. All right,
so it might be maybe a 96 Titan homes. But so far, I kind of like it. Not bad. So let's go check
out. So I always thought this was strange. I bring this up in a lot of the videos. This is the living
room, and then there's another family room right there. Kind of overkill, but I don't know. I mean,
I guess they want the kids separate, or this is the formal living room. I'll tell you, it looks
feels awful small in comparison. Yeah, there's something different. I can't figure out what's
going on. Maybe the hallway is a little different or something. I don't know. It's a little different.
Okay, so there are holes in the ground where they've ripped out a lot of the HVAC, it looks
like. Looks like they may have replaced all of the cabinets. Then they painted the doors shut.
Man, they kind of did a crappy job on the paint, but I think all that might be new.
The countertop is probably even there. This place, they kind of, this is kind of the
level of work that they do, you know. See, you see the little thing on the sink. So they probably
had a really bad deal going on in this kitchen, and this is their replacement kitchen. This is
a rent, what would you call it, pay here, rent to own, pay here type, buy here, pay here type
place. So they let people kind of set their own payment, and then they tell them how many years
they're going to have to pay on it to pay it off, and et cetera, et cetera. Yeah, yeah.
So this is the little utility room with the parquet floor. Hey, we had this in our house.
Remember that parquet vinyl house? That was the thing in the 90s.
Titan homes from Lillington, North Carolina. And that model number 96. Yeah, that could be.
I think that's a pretty fair guess. So maybe a 96 Titan homes.
We can't check on the sink on this one, folks, because it's a new sink.
So there's no sticker.
But the closet has new drywall, you know, so don't work like that every time. All right.
Now, see, this is strange to me, Donnie. This has been changed.
It's not strange to me. Why would there be two vents right next to each other?
Well, I guess that's strange, but it's not strange that it comes up from the floor like that.
Evidently, they ain't got enough volume here, so they put a second one in right beside it.
I think there was a wall they took down or something, and that was a different room.
Now, think about this, okay? Hear me out, okay? Well, never mind. I was about to say something
stupid. Yeah, it wouldn't work. Yep, that fireplace canceled my plan. I'm going to act
like the fireplace isn't there, and I was going to say this is the living room. This is the dining
room. There's a wall there. This is the hallway because that's another bedroom, but I don't think
it's like that because they got a fireplace. We ain't here. We got to talk about the fireplace
first, Donnie. We'll talk about the fireplace, but we ain't here. So there is a fireplace.
Yeah, and it's above the bedroom, I don't think. I don't know. Look at the wood stuff there.
Might have added it. I don't know. They probably didn't, but I'm hanging on to this
extra bedroom thing here. Double windows in the bedroom. Yeah, that's a good point. If this was
a hall bedroom, it wouldn't have double windows. That's a good point, Donnie. This was probably
always a living room, a den. Now, the kitchen could have been down here.
Nah, the kitchen was down there. You can tell. This is bedroom number two. Nice little room.
Not much to it. We're walking up a hill. This end is freaking six inches higher for sure.
It must have not been too bad originally because the flooring is still in it. You can always tell
around outlets. So you're looking for pet damage and you're looking for roach damage. Around these
outlets, you will have all kinds of roach droppings and there's none. So they didn't
have a roach infestation in this house, but it's been road hard and put away wet, literally.
This one? Yep. Okay, bedroom numero tres. Just a little same thing with the wallpaper
or some kind of something. Yeah, there is wallpaper. You can see the strips and maybe
that's the original vinyl over gypsum. It's just, you know, white. There's no pattern to it.
I like kind of looking at the patterns to see what it originally must have looked like.
Then we're going to bedroom number four. Very traditional.
Oh two. Oh two, oh three. I can't ever get to figure out the code on that.
Oh two, oh three. It does kind of look like that's what it says. Oh two, oh three, sixty.
So maybe. I don't know. It's a Titan Homes, that's all we really know.
And it was made somewhere between 96 and 02. Yep. All right, bedroom number four. This is a big old
four bedroom and then there's a hall bathroom that Donnie seems excited about if I'm reading
his context clues properly. Look at that. I kind of like it, but at the same time,
I don't know that they did it right. I don't know that you can do that in a mobile home.
Well they did. So it's a marble or granite tile stone tile floor.
Looks like a kind of, you know, kind of homemade job in my opinion.
But that's cool. It's probably, you know, it probably looks better than whatever the hell
was in here. And they kind of had a lot of room. This bathroom is a little bigger than
they usually are for the hall bathroom. A small vanity in it. Yeah, a little vanity
and the toilet. Now just to be clear, this lot here wouldn't have put this tile in. This is,
the homeowner must have done this before. But yeah, it's interesting. So it's a little
home improvement DIY job where they went ahead and went with the full room shower or whatever.
Donnie, what do you think about that? All right folks, well there you go. It's a Titan Homes
from the late 90s or early 2000s. Y'all if you like what you see, give us a thumbs up,
film and subscribe to our channel if you haven't already and I'll catch you on the next one.
All right folks, if you like these double wide used trailers that we
tore through, check out this video. We've done a whole bunch of them.
