A DAY IN THE LIFE | Puppy Hugs and Tater Tot Casserole

Alright, get up, get dressed, get ready, go to work. Bye girls! We made it to work! Yeah! It's all dark, I gotta go turn the lights on. Alright, so the time is now 9.25. Can you tell how much stuff I recorded between the time I got here and now? Considering we got here at 7 o'clock. Not a lot. But we did a lot of stuff. I can show you some of the stuff we did. Did the specials board. Made some cookies. Got some muffins. Did some soup. Chicken dumpling soup today. And there's some chili. And there's some brown cheese. And then... What else have we done? All kinds of stuff. I'll let you see inside the cooler. Got meat cut every single day. We use a slicer and we cut meat and cheese everyday. That's something else we do everyday. Dishes... Jamie's back here peeling... Are you still peeling eggs? What are you doing now? Oh, you're doing onions? It's ok Jamie! It's ok! Yeah, I'm not peeling anything. He's prepping some onions. We got bread bowls out. Done some cleaning. All that fun stuff. We've done a lot of stuff this morning. I still have a lot of stuff left to do. There's some of the stuff we did for today. I'm trying to do a day in the life. It's hard to stop and pick up the camera every time we're doing something. You guys are getting the idea. I'm trying to explain to them. They're getting the idea. This is what we do everyday. I was trying to list all the things we did. Right? That's the other thing. It's nine thirty. We're awake now. Now I can use the camera. Oh, I can show them how to use the slicer. Yeah? Just don't cut yourself on camera. See, there's an onion there. That's what happens. Then we'll chop up the onion. Now you got to see Jamie doing something cool. Look! Now Greg's here. What time is it now? You got to tell people what time it is. So, now Greg's here. We're making food for that order you guys just saw me take. It's now ten thirty. Another thing I just did was placed my order with Cisco. I should have showed you guys Jamie making all that breakfast. Instead we'll just pretend. Yeah, right? Those were all dirty a second ago. And that's still dirty. Oh yeah, there's a pan. I don't know if we've ever showed you guys these. This is what we use to make our eggs for our sandwiches. They're either round eggs or square eggs. It's like twenty after eleven now. This is the next exciting thing we get to do today. Find the bee. It was too funny watching all of your heads. He's up there. Ok, so now it's... what is it? Twelve forty five. And the phone's ringing. So we're still working. So now it's winding down to the end of the day. Which means I get to count money and go to the bank and then we're going to head home. But I should probably... Jamie already ate. I didn't have time to video him eating because there was other people in here and I was working. So now I have to eat something before we go, right? Jamie's cleaning the grill. Always working. Now it's about twelve after three and we're home. What's up girls? And now we gotta let the dogs outside. Everyday, right? Let the dogs outside. Oh my goodness! We're going! We're going! Memphis is super excited and then... Whoa! Not so blinding bright. Memphis didn't go to the bathroom yet. She wants me to sit down on the ground so she can give her hugs. Gotta get a Memphis hug everyday. She's a huggiest puppy. I know. Gotta get your hugs in. There you go. Daddy will be out here in a minute to get his hugs. Gotta get the belly scratches in. She's the only one that does this. The rest of them are like... Oh! Here comes Shelby. Shelby's ready for her pets now. Hi baby! And Oakley's like, No! I don't need no pets yet. Hi Shelby! Shelby's gotta get her pets now. I know! Did you miss us? Memphis is back for more. So Jamie's outside cutting the grass. So now... It's 3.18pm. Oh! 3.19pm. Today is Monday. For you guys is Tuesday. I have a video that goes up on the dogs channel at YouTube.com slash GoneToTheSnowDogs at four o'clock. As you can tell, it's already been uploaded. It's set to go live at four o'clock. Now, I have to go through and I have to test the video. Make sure it's working. Then, I get to go in here and I get to add all my annotations to the video. So you can click and see previous videos and stuff like that. Sorry! My camera died. That's what I'm going to be doing for a little bit here. It shouldn't take me too long. About 10-15 minutes or so. Then, I get to work on more internet stuff. Work on my Equid store for the dogs and update some more of the stuff. That's the plan for right now. Oh! That's today's video. So, annotations for the video. Then, this happens. Oakley decided she's going to come sit right here. Is that the place to be while I'm trying to finish this? Is that the place to be? Alright, I guess so. So now, it's 4.18 and it's time to do the YouTube complaint. See? This is the main page for the Snow Dogs. This is yesterday's video. My new video is supposed to be right here. It's been up for 18 minutes. It's not showing up. It's not showing up in anybody's sub boxes. The link is working, but the video is not there. For Pete's sakes YouTube! Get it together! No wonder, so many people miss our videos because they don't show up in your subscription boxes. So now, it's 4.41 and this is starting to happen. What? All three of you, right in my face. It's not 5 o'clock yet. It's not. What? It's not 5 o'clock yet. They're like, but it's close enough, right? It's close enough for dinner? Fine! You can have dinner now. 5.15 Time to start dinner. We're going to make a tater tot casserole. I'm going to show you guys how to do it. Everybody does this differently, but this is the way I do it. First thing I do, is I take half a bag of tater tots because I'm only making this for two people. Put them on the tray and I'm going to put them in the oven at 350F. While the tater tots are in the oven, I'm going to fry up my hamburger. All I put on this is a little bit of garlic salt and salt and pepper. Oh! For the size I'm using, this is about a third of a pound of hamburger. This is the casserole dish that I use. I don't know what size it is. A quart? A quart and a half? Something like that. This is what I use to put the tater tot casserole in. The other things you're going to need is a cream of potato soup. This is optional. You can also use cream of mushroom soup, but I like cream of potato. This is optional. I like putting green beans in ours. You'll need one can of this and one can of this. Come on! Fry faster! And cheese! Don't forget the cheese! Cheese! Sometimes we use pepper jacks, sometimes we use cheddar, sometimes we use a combination. Today, I'm going to use cheddar and mozzarella. While I'm making dinner, Shelby and Jamie are going to play some video games. Where's Shelby's controller? We'll get you a controller. She's playing on the computer. Are you checking Facebook? What are you checking on there? Are you checking some Facebook? Alright! Now, we're going to take the tater tots and split them in half. Half on one side of the tray and the other half we're going to put it in here. Then, we're going to put the hamburger in here and the soup in here. I'm going to drain the green beans and put them in there and put some cheese in there. Ready to do all that? Let's do it! Now, you may be asking, how much cheese? I don't know! I just put a handful of both in there. There's white cheese underneath the other cheese. Stir it all together. Alright! After you stir it all up, you kind of want to flatten it out. Then, we're going to take the extra tater tots and we're going to put them on top. Alright! It's going to look like that when you smash them down on the top. Put the lid on it and put it in the oven for about thirty to forty minutes, depending. The last ten minutes, I usually take the lid off to brown up the tater tots. Let's get cooking! What time is it now? Six eleven? Now, I'm going to do some laundry. A few more minutes and dinner will be done. Memphis, are you going to help me do some laundry? You're such a good helper! Memphis! Do you have a blanket monster? Are you a blanket monster? Oh! Look at you! Blanket monster! You're so silly! Every time I come downstairs to do laundry, I look over here and I go Halloween is coming! There's all the Halloween stuff and there's all the Christmas stuff! Come on girls! Of course! I had to let the girls outside again. How many times have you girls actually been outside since we got home? Quite a few, huh? Here comes Memphis! Oh! You can hear it sizzling! If you really want the top to be crunchy for the last like five minutes, turn your broiler on and it will crunchy up the top for you. Now, it's six twenty three and we're eating dinner in the living room. Are you going to find us something to watch? It's going to be a lazy dinner. I don't know, should we watch a movie? We can watch Once Upon a Time. Let's watch that! Ok! We're going to watch Once Upon a Time now. Seems to be a... The thing to do! Gee! It looks like typical dinner. I think Shelby wants some. She probably does. Memphis is over here. Oakley is being kind of good. Shelby is like, if I give you my paw I would give you my paw. I would do anything. Memphis enjoys watching TV with us too. She's glued to the screen right now. What's going on in television Memphis? It's now eight forty. We watched far too much television and now I get to edit some videos. Yay! What was that one for? Look! Ok! It's ten thirty. Done editing. Done doing all that stuff. Jamie just let the dogs out. I think we're going to bed. Do you have baby Memphis? Somebody stole the baby! You girls ready to go to bed? Oakley will sleep out here, like always. Shelby will follow me to bed. I'm surprised Memphis already is in there. Normally she follows me. I found baby Memphis. She's in bed already. You guys want to see a day in the life. This is a day in the life. This happens every night. Every night. Here's Shelby. There's Oakley down there by Jamie's feet. She'll kind of come in here and check us out. Make sure we're in here sleeping. Then she'll go to bed. You're upside down doggy. You are a riot. I don't know if that's the best day in the life you guys have ever seen. It kind of gives you an idea of what we do on a day to day basis. At least Monday through Friday. Then the weekends are for adventures. Right? Like this weekend. Maybe we will go camping. Want to go camping? I think we will. Alright. Good night everybody. He's like no. We're at the zoo and we found the Huskies. Look they even talk about Huskies. Look how cute they are. We found the wolves. But they're sleeping. It's so nice out. They're just sleeping outside. They look very fluffy. It says they're African painted dogs.
