Jamie FALLS again! We take the Dogs Skiing!

Yeah, so that's all the work I'm supposed to be doing. But as you can see, it's nice outside. So we have harnessed up both dogs and we're gonna go play in the snow. I have packed the sled in the Jeep and and I have Jamie's new... Whoa! Watch me drop the camera. I have gloves on so it's slippery. I have Jamie's new skijoring belt. Oops! Jamie got him a skijoring belt and I guess he's gonna try it. What do you think? I'm gonna tire you girls out a little bit first before he tries the suicide belt. We'll see what happens. What? Are we waiting for your daddy so we can go play in the snow? Huh? It's nice out today. It's 31 degrees. The sun was out earlier, but I think it would have been too hot with the sun out. So we're going out without the sun out. Got my hood. We got my glove liners. You know, if you guys play out in the snow, kind of like Jamie and I do, glove liners are awesome. They're really thin. You can't really use them for much more than keeping the wind off your hands when you have to take your gloves off. But like when you're hooking the dogs up and when you have to hook them up, get their clips and clip the things on their neck and all that stuff. It's really hard to do with big bulky gloves. These are my good gloves. They're called Gordinis. I think I've showed them to you guys before. They're a very thick, nice glove. They got a little pocket for those hand warmers to go in. They got AquaBlock technology. They're a very nice glove, but they're hard to function. You can't really do anything with your hands. So I have these glove liners from Outdoor Research that I use when I have to take my gloves off. Shelby's gonna drive. She's not gonna let Jamie in. Shelby's gonna drive. Here, we'll just keep them there. I'm stuck. I can stand on your skis. I was just stopping them for you. They're ready to pull again. Okay. Apparently she doesn't want to pick. No, apparently not. She's gonna pull you some more. Bye, see you later. Hill. And he's done. I think I got most of that on camera. Why are you trying to grab my sled? You did. Thank you. This is inevitable. Every time I take Shelby sledding, she thinks that she gets to lay in the front seat when she's all done because she did such a good job. Hey Shelby. Where am I gonna sit? You gotta get in the back. Shelby. Shelby. Shelby, can I have my seat? Can we get in the back? She's like, no, this seat is heated and even though I'm hot, this is comfortable. Shelby. You have to move. Bite him, bite him. Come on, get in the back. She's like, I'm not moving until mom actually moves. Fine, make me move. And it's snowing. So apparently that was like the perfect timing to go out and do this because right when we were getting ready to be done, it started to snow and it's kind of that wet snow, so we don't want to get all soaking wet. So we were heading back to the truck anyway, so it worked out pretty good, huh Jamie? Yeah, I'm tired. I think the dogs are tired. You know, a lot of people say, I can't believe you would let dogs pull you like that. You don't understand. You have to work too, even with the sled. You have to work too. Yeah, making the dogs do all the work. Yeah, the dogs don't do all the work. You gotta do a lot of the work too. I think it might be time for dinner, even though it's early. We didn't really eat lunch, so... Maybe we'll have to go get dinner on the way home. This is just beautiful back here. I didn't bring my GoPro, but I probably should have. I don't know where my mount is for my... sled, but you see the pretty snow on the trails. We finally got some decent snow in our area. Up in Munising, they got like 30 inches. We thought about going up there this weekend, but we didn't. Yeah, this isn't a whole lot of snow either. No, this is probably... I don't know, there might be like five inches on the ground. And it's like all packed down and stuff, so it's really not that much snow at all. But a couple of rains will take it out. It's still better than nothing. Birds were chirping, so... I'm still hoping for more snow, but we'll see what happens. I don't know, we'll see. Yay, snow! We ended up at Burger King and I got burgers for the dogs. Oh, and of course she ducks now. There she is. I can't zoom in with this camera, but Oakley was just licking the steering wheel. She's insane. You're insane, Oakley. Mmm, food. Bad for ya. We figured we just did all the exercising, right? So now we can have bad food, right? Yeah, good, good.
