Boys and girls and welcome back to Graceful where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about
our best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Puerto Rico
where my friend Nathan has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
So
thanks Nathan. That was amazing. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts or
talents for Jesus please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'll be happy to share
it with our friends. Because it reminds me that it's nature time and I am so excited because with
our friend Ryan from Canada we never know who or what we'll be learning about today. So to find out
you'll just have to come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at
Graceville. Today we're going to be talking about ants. So let's look and see what amazing creatures
they are. Ants are social creatures. This means that they live in group like communities.
They have special jobs to do. The queen ant is responsible for producing more ants.
Female ants provide food and they also protect the colony from enemies. Certain species of ants
like the Messor barbarus store up seeds for the winter. They are called harvesting ants.
Others scout for food during the summer and the workers take it home back to the colony
for everyone. God has given us such a big lesson in these small amazing creatures.
Hebrews chapter 13 verse 16 says but do not forget to do good and to share for with such
sacrifices God is well pleased. Boys and girls storing up food is great and it's also hard work.
However when someone who needs help comes along let's remember to help them. Bye boys and girls
thanks for tuning in see you next time. We're back just in time to check in on Melissa. I
wonder how her week is going. Well let's go. Oh hey. That's a big sigh. Want to talk about it?
My grandma promised she would be here for my Christmas concert. Now she's changing her travel
date. Why did I even believe that she would come here all the way from Brazil just to hear me sing?
Well I think there's a lot of time left before Christmas and she can still make it. The big
question is what will happen to your faith in the meantime? Don't allow your anxiety to steal your
faith. Wait a minute that reminds me of our theme for this week which simply says don't lose faith.
Let me hear my friend Zay say it. Don't lose faith. And our memory verse is found in Proverbs 28 verse 20
and it simply says a faithful man will abound in blessings. Let me hear my friend Hannah say it.
The memory verse is taken from Proverbs 28 verse 20 and it says a faithful man
will abound in blessings. Great job everyone.
I know but it's just that she changed her arrival date twice already so I started a couple times.
It's just hard to have faith when it feels like you're waiting forever. Long waits are the worst.
They can really challenge our faith but when we put our trust in God we'll discover that He never
disappoints us. That's exactly what the woman in our story learned when she held on to her faith
for 12 long years of suffering. Can you guess who today's story is about? What?
12 years waiting on her healing? Now that's long. This has to be the story of the woman
with the issue of blood. That's right Peter. Today's story is about the woman with the issue of blood.
Crowds of people pressed near to Jesus as he journeyed to Jairus's house.
Even though the crowd was thick she did her best to get close to Jesus but it wasn't easy. Her body
was weakened from an unstoppable blood flow that lasted for 12 long years. In spite of losing all
her money to doctors she never lost her faith in God. She believed that Jesus had the power
to heal her. In faith she reached out and touched the hem of his garment. Instantly Jesus knew that
healing power had left his body. When he turned and looked at the woman he affirmed her by saying
your faith has made you well. Wowzers! If she didn't lose her faith after 12 years of suffering
why should I? Lord please help me to remain faithful. Amen! Waiting isn't easy but we can
trust God to come through for us every time. So don't lose faith!
