to share your gifts and talents for Jesus please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd
and I can't wait because I never know who or what I'm gonna be learning about today
with our friend Ryan from Canada. So let's listen in. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to
Nature Time at Graceville. Today our friends Josh Want and Abdi Athar are going to be talking to us
about the Oriental Garden Lizard. Let's tune in. The Oriental Garden Lizard is an insectivorous
lizard found in Indomalaya. It has also been introduced in many other parts of the world.
Oriental Garden Lizards spend most of their time in low scrubs and tree trunks just trying to stay
undetected. Oriental Garden Lizards have well-developed strong legs and a very good vision.
They are salivatory and urinary. They eat mainly insects such as crickets, grasshoppers, ants,
and vertebrates. Oriental Garden Lizards play an important role in their ecosystem.
They help control population of a wide range of insects. They have teeth that are distinguished
for gripping prey and not tearing it apart. Oriental Garden Lizards do not drop their tails
and their tails can be very long, stiff, and pointy. Like other reptiles, they shed their skins.
In fact, it's a completely harmless creature. The Oriental Garden Lizard is harmless and that
reminds me of this Bible verse. Matthew 10 16 says, Listen, for I am sending you out and you
will be like sheep among wolves. Be as smart as snakes, but also be like doves and do nothing
wrong. Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time. I wonder how Melissa's doing.
Let's check in on her. Let's go. Hey Pastor Natasha, my week did not go too well. Oh no,
what happened? Well, there's this one kid who is constantly mean to me. He's such a bully.
Some days I want to be mean to him too, so he knows how it feels. I understand how you feel,
but acting like a bully won't solve anything. God wants us to show kindness and mercy to those
who are cruel to us. Wait a minute, that reminds me of our theme for this week, which simply says,
React with kindness. Let me hear my friends say it. React with kindness. And our memory
verse is found in Galatians 6 verse 9, and it simply says, Let us not become weary in doing
good. Let me hear my friends say it. Hi, I'm Carell, and I'll be telling you Galatians 6 verse
9. Let us not be weary in doing good. Great job everyone. Wait, you expect me to be nice to that
guy? No way. Actually, that's exactly what God calls us to do, even though it goes against human
nature. Showing love instead of hate is one of the ways we can demonstrate God's love. And it's
exactly what the guy in our story did when he was almost killed by Saul. Can you guess what today's
story is about? Wait, I don't know about loving someone who tried to kill me. Thankfully, this
story is about David, but not me. That's right, Peter. Today's story is about David.
King Saul chased David throughout the land of Israel, determined to kill him.
When he discovered that David was hiding in the wilderness called En Gedi, he took 3,000
soldiers to capture him. Unaware that David and his men were there, Saul wandered into a nearby
cave all alone. When David's men saw him, they quickly reported it to him. It seemed like the
perfect opportunity for David to get back at Saul by striking him down. But David refused because
God had chosen Saul. Instead of reacting with the same cruelty, David chose to show Saul kindness
by sparing his life. Wowzers, I don't understand how David could react with such kindness to King
Saul after all he did to try to murder him. When the Holy Spirit fills our hearts and we
surrender our lives completely to him, we can all react with kindness under any circumstance.
