Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceful where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Brazil.
Where my friend Lise has prepared a beautiful song just for us. Let's listen in.
It's impossible to say everything it means to me and it means everything to me to be his child.
Thanks Lise that was amazing. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts or
talents for Jesus, please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
it with our friends. And we're back just in time for nature time. I can't wait to find out who or
what we'll be learning about today with our friend Ryan from Canada. It's always such an extra
special treat. So come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to nature time at
Graceville. Today we're going to be talking about complete and incomplete metamorphosis. Let's tune
in. Insects like butterflies, bees, moths, ants, and beetles go through complete metamorphosis.
Here are the four stages egg, larva, pupae, and finally adult. Let's look closer at the larva and
pupae stage. Firstly larva is the actual caterpillar. During this stage the insect eats a lot of food to
prepare for the next stage called the pupae. At the pupae stage insects do not move around or feed.
This is when they are wrapped up in their cocoons. Now let's take a look at incomplete metamorphosis.
Insects like cicadas, grasshoppers, locusts, and cockroaches go through this. They only have
three stages the egg, the nymph, and finally the adult. The nymph behaves a lot like the pupa or
caterpillar. They both eat a lot but here's where they're different. While the pupae is a caterpillar
the nymph already looks like a miniature or small adult. The pupae stage is not developed in
incomplete metamorphosis. This is why it is called incomplete. Philippians chapter 1 verse 6
international children's bible version says, God began doing a good work in you and he will continue
it until it is finished when Jesus comes again. I am sure of that. When we follow Jesus all the way
he will not leave us half done. We will be changed completely. Bye boys and girls thanks for tuning in.
Thanks Ryan for all that cool information. Now I wonder what Melissa is up to today.
Well how about we check in on her. Let's go. I have a big dilemma. I don't know what to do.
What's the problem? Well I feel God wants me to start a bible study at my new school.
I want to but what if people don't come? What if I can't explain the bible well enough? What if?
Slow down Melissa. Don't let your worries and fears get ahead of you. Moving by faith requires
us to follow God even when the way is not clear. Wait a minute. That reminds me of our theme for
this week which simply says move in faith. Let me hear my friends say it. Move in faith. And our
memory verse is found in second Corinthians five verse seven and it simply says we walk by faith
and not by sight. Let me hear my friends say it. We walk by faith and not sight. Second Corinthians
and five seven. Great job everyone. I hear you Pastor Anastasia but I just wish I knew how it
could work out. Moving by faith is not about knowing the future. It's about trusting in God.
That's why today's story is about 10 men who were healed as they went in faith to see the priest.
Can you guess who today's story is about? Hmm. What were the clues again?
10 men who were healed on their way to the priest. Could it be? I got it.
The 10 lepers. That's right my little friend. Today's story is about the 10 lepers.
One day while traveling through Jerusalem Jesus encountered 10 men standing at a distance.
They dare not come near because as lepers they were considered unclean. Instead they cried out
Jesus have mercy on us. Moved with compassion Jesus replied go show yourself to the priest.
Even though the leprosy did not disappear immediately they moved forward in faith
and miraculously they were healed as they went. Wowzers. Now that's what I call inspiring faith.
I agree. Now I'm ready to move forward by faith. Who's with me?
