Now to an ABC News exclusive. An ex-staffer is speaking out for the first time about her relationship with former University of Michigan football coach Sharon Moore.
He was fired for what the school called an inappropriate relationship and later face charges.
Did you love him?
Back then I did, but obviously looking back at things and really reflecting on what happened, what was happening, that's not love at all.
Paige Shriver says she was just an intern when the affair with the coach and married father began back in 2022.
She says it started as a consensual relationship, but her attempts to end it were met with what she calls manipulation tactics and threats of self-harm.
In December of last year, she reported the affair to the university.
Shriver says things escalated when Moore then appeared at her apartment.
Did you fear for your life?
Oh my gosh, yes. He's 6'4 and he comes in with his hood up, looking down at me saying I ruined his life, crying.
And then starts coming at me and I tell him to leave, that he's not supposed to be here, he's not listening to me.
And then he starts grabbing, yes, butter knives.
A judge sentenced Moore to 18 months of probation for misdemeanor counts of trespassing and malicious use of a phone.
Moore's attorney told ABC News, quote, Sharon Moore has closed this chapter.
