RV Life: Real Day in Our Life as a Couple Living Full Time in an RV

All right. Happy Valentine's Day. Got overnight oats, strawberries, chia seeds, oats, milk, and yogurt, and honey, and sausage. Then I always have a piece of sprouted bread, and then on top, Tyler mashes half of an avocado, some cottage cheese, and then some scrambled eggs, and some kind of fruit. So today's Valentine's Day, and we've decided to just hang out at the campground here in Naples, Florida. Oh man, I just kicked over Ollie's bowl again. I do that literally daily. Happy Valentine's Day. You little sneak. How did you get this? Oh, babe. They're so beautiful. You like them? Yes. You can have the little one right there. Yep, that one's yours, Ollie, the little tiny one. Thank you. You want to go? Do you want to go for a bike ride? Should I clip it? Yeah. You want your other paw up? He's up just like that. He just chilling? Yeah, he's just chilling. Being a good boy? Are you trying to escape? I think it was because he couldn't see you. Yeah, he didn't like that I was getting in front of him. Okay, well that wasn't working out because I couldn't actually pedal. Yeah. My knees were hitting the bottom of the bag. So... We decided to switch. I will be holding him. Yeah, he's liking this a lot more. He likes the wind. We made it to the end. Three miles down and then it'll be three miles back. But we're on electric bikes so we're cheating a little bit. I'm curious about these microphones. We just got these new wireless microphones from DJI so I wonder how they're doing right now in the wind. These were so cheap. They were like 70 bucks which is like half off because of the whole DJI ban. They're just selling off all their US product I guess. Really cheap. But I've been impressed with them so far. Hopefully they're good on the bikes. Here you go inside. Get some AC. It is lunchtime. Alright, there you go buddy. The camera died right when Ali was coming out of the bag but now we are going to make some lunch. Last night I made some tacos so I'm just going to make that for lunch because it'll just be really easy. This is all I have to be able to put my flowers into something. I might have to take out some flowers but I want to put them in some water first before I start on lunch. You might have to cut the stems down. Well for sure, yeah. Go for it. This is from milk that we bought in Idaho. I might have to take out a few flowers. It's too white. There you go. That'll work. Look at that. Isn't she pretty? Just made it work. Taco meat and taco cheese. Did you go potty? Yeah, we can eat outside. As long as we're in the shade. I'm just going to set Tyler's to drink azivia at lunch. The creamy root beer is our favorite. But Tyler just... Lunch is served. Yep, here's my plate. Here's Tyler's plate. We'll get our azivias in a second. Yep. We're sitting so far from each other. Yeah, that's the only way to... Both be in the shade. Both be in the shade, yeah. Here's the guac. Put it on the chair. Put it on the steps. Cheers. We are doing laundry on Valentine's Day. We didn't really plan that very well. It needs to be done. We have like two weeks worth of laundry. But we're going to be really busy next week. We have a lot of stuff planned. And I'm not going to have time to do laundry next week. And then right after that we head to the Keys. So, today's really the only day we got to get it done. Yeah, and I don't want to do laundry when we're in the Keys. Because we're only there for a week. So, happy Valentine's Day to me. Going to go do some laundry. Speed bumps. Here we are. Not twice. Probably pushing it a little bit. That's actually not bad. Begin. Oh, I got to press it again. There we go. Yeah, $1.75 is actually pretty cheap. Yeah. Set timer for 35 minutes. That should give me enough time to go back to the RV and start on the brownies. Oh, yeah. The brownies. Flowers for Valentine's Day. And I bake him brownies for Valentine's Day. That's right. Just go straight there. Send to Ollie. He'll hear the button clicking. Yeah. Oh, I know. We were gone so long. An eternity. Let's start on Tyler's Valentine's Day present. Would you like the kind that I got you? What have I got? Oh, I didn't even notice. Salted caramel brownie mix. Or the caramel on top. Oh, yeah. Oh, they did put a little packet. So there's a little packet of caramel in there. Nice. Healthy. That's right. And unfortunately, I am pretty limited in my tiny kitchen. So I don't have mixing bowls or anything like that. So I just use literally just my kitchen pot and pans. He gets the job done. He does. We're very limited on space in here. Oh, and we'll add chocolate chips. Oh, yeah. It's a holiday. And rice. Holly is invested in what you're doing. Butter? I guess I'll go in the order where you're already cracking the eggs. Yes. I was going to pull from over here. Don't pull from the middle. Just go from left to right or right to left. Tyler doesn't like that I do that. And I thought I was type A. Yeah, you're definitely not type A. I genuinely don't know what you are. I told you I'm type C. What is type C? It's where you have type A tendencies, but you also have type B tendencies. And type B is messy? Yes. But I still enjoy having plans. I do need things to be clean. I'm messy, but when things get too messy, I freak out. It puts me in a mood. Mixer up. I think that's everything. I also made you brownies for Valentine's Day. In Baja. Oh yeah, two years ago. This year we're in Florida. Last year we were in Canada. The year before we were in Mexico. The year before that... We actually were on a cruise for Valentine's Day. Were we? We were. That cruise that we went on with Norwegian, that was over Valentine's Day. Really? And then the year before that was 2022. And we spent Valentine's Day at my parents. But we were just about to leave. We literally hit the road February 15th. Yep. Wow. So I don't think we did anything that year. I think we literally just were preparing for a road trip. Yeah. I like these. They're little squares. They're cute. They are little squares. Nice. Blake, give me one. These are really good chocolate chips actually. They're from Aldi. Let's see if that's enough. Alright. Now, I need to spray this pan. When you live in a really small RV like this, as you're cooking, you really have to use the utensil and put it away. Clean it and put it away as soon as you're done. Because if not, you'll end up with a space full of stuff and you just can't function. Because there's no countertop space. Yeah. As you saw, it literally just got so messy so fast and I couldn't think. Plus, the shot has to be pretty. That's right. Oh, you're supposed to add the caramel before. I do have a better spoon in here. Yeah, I probably shouldn't have used that in the first place. Well, it's hard to beat up the egg with this kind of spoon though. So that's why I didn't. Lordy. That's why I didn't use it. Some more chocolate chips. Wow. Oh no. That's going to be good. Alright, into the oven. How long? We'll do 25 for now. Cool. There's 13 minutes left on the brownies, but our laundry is ready to be switched over, so we're going to go put everything in the dryer real quick and then come back and the brownies will probably be done. Oh, yes. This thing is so touchy. After you. Do you want to get in? We can have a Ross Rachel moment. You're going to get kicked out of this camper. Here we go. There's no rules against riding in it. Am I too heavy for you? This thing doesn't want to steer. We made it. Alright. Okay. Yeah, that thing isn't really very spinny. No. Look at her so pretty waiting for us. I'm just going to go ahead and take this inside. It takes a while for the shade to come over here. Hi, buddy. We're back. I know. Oh, it smells good. I smell those brownies. Wow, that smells really good. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Look at this. Oh, there's my alarm. Yeah. That's going to be so good. I cannot wait. Are we wanting to wait until after dinner? Or are we going to dip into them now? That's a difficult question. We've got to try at least a little bit. Just a little half of a brownie. You can have half of a brownie. The middle is definitely very gooey. Not me. It is pretty beautiful. Is it good? Very good. I love an undercooked brownie. Timer just went off. So last time we have to go do this. Last time. But honestly, the worst part about doing laundry is having to fold it and put it away. That's true. I guess we could lock this back. And our Suzuki that color. That's another Brinkley. Man. Last minute we decided to scrap our dinner and just order a pizza from Marco's. We love Marco's. It sounded really good. Plus we both don't really feel like making dinner. Happy Valentine's Day to us. I literally have been thawing steaks for the last couple of hours. Yeah, we'll just put it back in the fridge. Fancy ice. No, I don't actually know a whole lot about wine. I just like the picture. Oh my gosh. That's literally the only reason I was like, that looks cool. Year number nine of our Valentine's Day. Ollie, you are ruining the vibe. Get down. Sit. Alright, I will give you the first pepperoni. Since it's Valentine's Day and you have no one that loves you except for your mommy and daddy. It's yummy. Now he's not gonna leave me alone. Now he's like, okay, here's the source of all the pepperoni. Marco's is the best, like, fast food pizza out there. For sure. One thing I'm very proud of, me being from the Midwest, we used to eat pizza with ranch. We'd dip it in ranch. And I told Madison about it and she was very skeptical at first. And then she did it and now she might be more of a ranch girl than me. I'm not as much of a ranch girlie as her. Never had this happen before. There. Cheers to us. Alright, let's go. Let's go outside. You wanna go? Let's go. We just had our pizza and I'm gonna take Ollie outside one last time before we call it a night. And we'll probably get in bed and watch a movie or something. I've got the microphone on him so he's got the little light on him. Alright, you wanna go inside? Inside. Well it was a really sweet Valentine's Day together today. It's our ninth one together. And we're just going to end our night by getting in bed and eating some of our brownies. We'll just watch a movie or our TV show or, I don't know, something together. So we're just gonna end the video here. And this video will probably be posted in a couple of weeks so it'll be well past Valentine's Day.
