Our Vet Honored Memphis with a BILLBOARD!

Good We've been up since 730 this morning hummus Kira Kira had to go in today to get her rabies vaccine updated If you guys don't know when I get the dogs Shots and things like that I don't do combo shots and I won't let them get more than one vaccine at a time. So like I went in Whatever it was last week or two weeks. It was two and a half weeks ago now and she got her distemper parvo One I think it was yeah the distemper parvo cuz that's actually a combo vaccine those ones I'm okay with giving so she got that and then we have to wait two weeks and she gets her rabies and then I gotta Wait two more weeks and then she'll get her Lepto I do give my dogs the leptospirosis vaccine because of where we live and because we do a lot outside I know not everybody gives that one. But those are a few of the ones I do give them. I don't give them lime I don't give them the flu shot. Oh bored to tell it they do get bored to tell it because of all of the Conventions and stuff that we go to as well. But anyway, Kira and I had to be the vet at 830 this morning And guess who else was at the vet? Say dr. Danielle was there wasn't she? Yeah, and Yesterday no, actually two days ago. They called me and told me that Memphis's ashes were back I know a lot of you guys had asked if we were cremating her and blah blah blah blah blah blah. Well There's Shelby. There's Shiloh and there's Oakley. So yes, we are cremating her or we did cremate her and She is back and I can show you guys her urn. So if you don't want to see the urn Look away skip ahead like a minute or so So I did manage to find a really pretty colored green one I got her a green little apple to go in the case and then I got her this adorable little dragonfly to go in the case as well They sent her home in this I didn't want one of their boxes because I knew I was getting this so I just got the Cheapest option which was a tin Currently she's in here. We're gonna put her in here This turned out so good I have another one that we made at the vet's office Then I asked for a second one as well and I kind of like this Has her name and everything on it and I kind of like that one eventually when we go to put her in the cabinet We're gonna go through all of the stuff that's in the cabinet here Jamie and I were talking about maybe even doing it on a live stream to maybe make it easier on us We'll kind of go through everything that's in here because we have paw prints of the dogs Actually, this is the paw print we made of Memphis at the vet's office. So we have two of her paw prints I gotta find the people that made these Painted rocks because I would like to get a painted rock of Memphis If you were the one that sent these to me comment down below because I would like to figure out That artist and try to figure that out. I also think we're gonna move this stuff Down here because I feel like it's these are getting a little heavy for the glass shelf So I think they're gonna get moved down here and this will get shifted up to the top I don't know We'll figure it out Jamie and I were talking about going through and doing all that and going through some of that on maybe a live stream, so And no, we're still not okay, but we will be We have to be right. We have to learn to live differently. Kira's actually been doing quite a bit better When I took her to the vet this morning, though that dog Sang for an hour straight which you can see some of right here Yeah, you had a hard time I know I know dad tried to make you feel better but you wasn't having it I told you I'd bring her back. I did look she's here and then you guys played like crazy Yes, you did. Look at Memphis is on a billboard Schweitzer veterinary put Memphis on a billboard and there was a lot of mire And all the dog butts thrown around in the back here. I'm gonna film it again in a second So dr. Danielle and dr. Ryan from our vets office actually reached out to me and asked if they could do something special for Memphis and normally they only feature their own pets or people that work for them their pets on the billboard, but They asked if they could feature Memphis Memphis and I couldn't say no I absolutely had to say yes Made me cry, but that is pretty cool. She's gonna make a lot more people smile Think she's right out there. She is The Memphis on the billboard That's pretty It's actually a pretty nice out today The Temperature, I guess broke the humidity broke a couple days ago and today it's in the 70s But it's nice ma'am. Did you find a stick? Always finding the sticks. I know in the shady spot cuz the Sun is still warm Eleanor did you find a stick? Like I sure did Jamie cut the grass today, so it looks all nice. Hi. How you doing? How you doing Just had lunch I thought for sure after Memphis passed away that nobody would bug me for lunch Well, Eleanor has figured out how to bug for lunch Yeah, you learned it from the best Yeah You know how to tell time and now you tell me what time it is Which is probably a good thing because I might forget to feed you if nobody tells me I'm just kidding I wouldn't forget to feed you What do we think she's looking at back here, what'd you find? Kira didn't want to come outside. Eleanor and I came outside. Show me what you found Found something. What did you find? There not be no more mushrooms. I just picked a bunch of mushrooms. She found Whatever it is, I don't know what I'm looking at. She wasn't rolling in it. She was staring at it like it was moving Look at how good Jamie's grass is growing. We're almost ready to take this stuff down. Look at all the clovers Yeah, it might almost be time to take it down And then he might move it over here and try to get this to fill in a little bit more. We'll see Tree, I didn't see what you found Elle She's like nothing much. I'm nothing I need to talk about Yeah, here's your stick We should put it with the sticks We know what we do with sticks They go in the dogs can't get it stick pile I'm so confused. I don't know what that is It looks like corn I'm so confused We're gonna ask is there more here What is this? Maybe we'll Google ends it up Jamie probably knows what it is But I'm a Google ends it Google lens doesn't know what it is. Do you know what it is Eleanor? Oh, look, I put my Memphis butterfly that I got at all. Do you see the blue? Blue solar light right there. That's the one I got at Aldi for Miss Memphis It's over there. It lights up pretty cool, too. All right, Jamie came out here with me. He did not plant this I wasn't sure if you planted something weird out here So it just grew and we think it's a hellebore rhyme That's whoa, it's one way to get it to come out. Don't worry. I wasn't standing there. That's funny If I don't know and you were gonna do that I just filmed you If you want to run across the I don't think you need to either but it's pretty funny. Yeah You could Yeah, she's like I will do it dad I will run across the pool cover You made it Yeah, I like the wave it makes look at her. She's like, come on. Let it be my turn So anyway, we think it's some type of hellebore rhyme I'll try to remember to That's what I said, how about that? I'll try to remember to have Dan put the name of it on the screen but some type of invasive orchid, I guess I Don't know. I've never seen it in our yard and now it's here It might flower it might not we don't know if we'll cut it down or not. I guess we'll find out We're thinking it's from the bunny. Yeah that the bunny That still seems to stay under here, but actually has a way out over there But he's still under here because we see him in the yard almost every morning We think the bunny coming over here and you know, leaving bunny droppings may have brought this plant over here Could be what it's from. We don't know. I know you want over here so bad You just want to run on pool cover and jump in the pool. I know One what am I gonna do with all the thin boy sticks? Two you're not supposed to be first Take it to your spot. You got your spot. You got your spot Is it the greatest that the greatest thing ever is that what you were waiting for like mom I haven't had a boy stick in like It's probably been like two weeks hasn't it? I didn't give you any when we were camping even though I took some with us Nobody got one That's okay. I'll have it now and I will be happy as could be Crunch That's pretty good crunch, are you sleepy you got pretty good crunch as well He's always been your favorite spot to sit into your bully stick curled up in your snoozer bed This is great. Do you hear my crunch? We hear it. Yes, we do. You know, it's still one of those crazy things about living in the northern, Michigan It's 930 at night and it is still Light out. I like a lot Like a lot a lot. Hi, Eleanor. Bye Eleanor. See you later I don't know what we're going for, but I don't think there's anything back there She looked like she stepped on something. That was weird To check and make sure when she comes back this way. Oh Kira's going for it, too Squirrel friend and bunny friend were in here Jamie and I were looking up Trying to figure out what these plants are that are over here To figure out if we should take them out to figure out if they're toxic to figure out blah blah blah blah blah blah blah And from what we found we don't think That they're bad But we might end up taking them out. Anyway, Jamie might end up just cutting them with the lawnmower. I guess we'll see in the next couple of days Hello, miss ma'am, how are you? What do you think? That branch Did that branch fall? That doesn't look right Well, maybe it is, huh? Well, I guess because the end of this branch snapped off It's so weird not seeing it hanging over the A-frame That was the branch that always hung over the A-frame and the dogs always chewed on it But apparently because it's not out there anymore More leaves grew back here. That branch broke in the ice storm Do you remember? I got it on camera We have the footage we'll insert it here Oh, here we go. And speaking of ice storm that tree back there actually made it this tree up here did not But I think we all already knew that What are we looking for? Jamie trimmed up that tree a little bit as well to try to give his grass a little bit of extra sunlight See sun setting but it is still bright as can be Say some things change like you actually wanting to nap in the office But some things never change like me forgetting to say good night Oh Also Kira came in here and fluffed all the blankets on the couch and moved everything around and then proceeded to lay right here mostly on the giant mostly But I forgot to end the vlog last night. So we're gonna go ahead and do that right now We hope you guys enjoyed today's video. This sounds really weird As always, thanks so much for watching. Thanks for subscribing. Stay positive dream big. We'll see you again Get through this
