Hello and welcome. Today I want to talk to you about these Summit Pro boots that I received from
Lem's Shoes. I've been a big fan of Lem's Shoes for quite some time. Their boulder boot years ago
is what attracted me to Lem's Shoes. Well these boots are not boulder boots, but they do offer
a similar look. Big differences that struck my eye right from the unboxing is the quality of
this leather. It definitely is a cut above the rest, at least when I compare it to Lem's Shoes
that I currently own and owned in the past. These boots came about with a joint venture
between Rose Anvil and Lem's. Even comes with this leather tag from Rose Anvil. They wanted
to come up with something, improve on what Lem's was already doing, and this Summit Pro boot came
to be. A couple of the features that I look for in boots, and that's one of the reasons why I do
gravitate to Lem's, is the fact that they offer this wide toe box, as well as a zero drop sole.
So that allows my toes to move around freely and not get all bunched up. And at the same time, by
having that zero drop, I keep my natural alignment. Good for my biomechanics, good for my spine, and
just my overall health. I really like the look of these boots, the quality of the construction on
these boots, the quality of the leather. To be honest, it'll probably be difficult to even convey
in this video, but once you are holding them and get to see them for yourself, you'll have a better
understanding of what I'm talking about. I enjoy rucking, hiking, and other outdoor activities, and
having this Vibram sole offering great traction and stability underneath. Whether you're on muddy,
rocky, wet terrain, this boot will provide that traction and stability that you need while you're
out there, let's say, battling the environment. And the one thing I do have to say is that they are
very comfortable. Compared to other Lem shoes and boots that I've used, these will take more of a
break-in period because of this more durable leather that it is made out of. So definitely
keep that in mind. They do fit true to size, and it's that type of good leather that the more you
use, the more that you break it in, the better that it's going to look over time. So getting into
some of the specifications on these boots. These boots are water-resistant. The fit offers the
limb's widest natural shape with that super wide toe box. The upper is water-resistant full grain
leather. The lining is calfskin leather. The outsole is the Vibram Mega Grip. The insole is a minimal
cork insole, and if you are looking for a little bit more room, you can always remove the insole.
The stack height is 19 millimeters. As I mentioned, it has a zero drop. The weight, the pair that I
have here, is a men's size 12 US, and they weigh in just under 17 ounces. So far, this is probably
the highest quality boot that I have used from Lems. Being very familiar with Lem shoes, I know
that these are going to last quite a while. And once again, they are made for being out there on
the trail, taking everything that the environment has to offer. What I do like about these shoes is
not only are they great on the trail, but I could also wear them out, pair of jeans, casual evening
with the wife, and they will look great. I will put more information in the description below, as
well as my affiliate link. If you need more information I didn't cover in this video, definitely
take a quick look. And if you do decide to purchase, I would appreciate it if you do utilize my
affiliate link. It allows me to do what I do, bringing this information to you. So bottom line, if
you're looking for a quality boot that offers the wide toe box, zero drop, water resistant, great
Vibram sole, high quality leather, great for any adventure on the trail. And as I mentioned, will
work well for those casual nights out on the town. Definitely take a look at these men's Summit Pro
boots from Lems.
