Summer beauty with Newbeauty

During these active summer warm months, your beauty products need to hold up to meeting the meat of the season, right? Yep. New beauty senior editor at L'Art, Sarah Eggenberger, sticks around. I do. I love it here. She's back with us. We're talking about summer favorites, and these are some of yours. These are, I love these. These are all my go-to products. And so we're going to start first with makeup, Charlotte Tilbury. So she kills it in the makeup game, right? Like, been around for decades. And I love this because it is not only going to help to finish off your makeup, but it's also going to blur your makeup. Blur? So if you want that flawless look, this is your product. It blends it all together, just makes it kind of look like that airbrush finish. Do you apply it with a brush or like a powder? You could do either or. A powder, like a sponge, it's going to give you a little bit more of a heavier application, where a brush will be a little bit lighter. But just use this at the very end to kind of just like finish off your look. It just smooths everything out. So this in addition to a powder, or this is the powder? You could do it as one if you want to, but I like to do like for TV, you're going to want to do both. Gotcha. So like an everyday, this is probably just fine by itself. Okay. Okay, now we're talking about hair again. So this is not your mother's curls. This took off on TikTok for just giving you like that perfect curl in your hair. Especially if you don't want to use any type of heat to get the curl. So you're going to use this as a gel, and you're just going to scrunch it in your hair, like pull it up. And it just keeps your curls just like a perfect pattern without the frizz. Yeah. Nice. Nice and smooth. Going to toss this over. I know a girl who has curls. Yeah. So do you do this when your hair is wet? When your hair is wet? Yeah. So the tricky thing sometimes I feel like with curl products is people put too much in because their hair is wet. And then when the hair dries, it's all crunchy and you know what I mean? Yes, right. Well, hello there. Here's the curly girl. So the other thing you can do is let your hair like air dry a little bit, so it's not like sopping wet. A little bit more like a lighter wet, and then do it. Because then you won't use as much product that way. It is so good. I even have used this actually on dry hair. Like my daughter loves to have like little ringlets hanging out. And she'll kind of use it to scrunch up like the dry pieces too. Oh, it smells good. Yeah. Oh, yeah. And I also have a mousse too if you do like a little bit of a lighter curl too, so you can have your options. What are you wearing? We have a hair commercial going on right here on top of it. Look at that. Look at that definition you just got. Come over this way. So sexy. Oh, yeah. Wow. Oh, my goodness. Okay. This does not seem to be a problem at this table. But if you do get that like green from chlorine, your daughter gets this. Especially if you swim or whatever, you tend to get that at the end of the summer. The chlorine and all the like the copper deposits actually make your hair green. So this is Malibu Sea. It's going to help to get rid of that. Mineral deposits, all the copper, all like the minerals that just really coat the hair. So there's a shampoo and a conditioner, and then this is the key here. You're going to use this in between. So you're going to shampoo your hair, do this, leave it in for a couple of minutes, and it just helps to get rid of everything. It detoxifies your hair, but you get that smoothness back. Well, are you supposed to do this every day? You can if you swim a lot, but ultimately you want to do this like once a week or as needed. When your hair turns green. Actually, I do have a question related to hair and swimming. Are you supposed to use shampoo every day if you do swim every day, or is that bad? I, growing up as a competitive swimmer, did wash my hair every day. With shampoo? And it was fine? Yes. Wow. I mean, if you're in a pinch and you don't have shampoo, you just should rinse out the And the other key, too, is to get your hair wet before you go in the pool. Yes. Because it opens up the cuticles, and so get your hair wet with good water versus chlorine water. Right. And even put conditioner in and then jump in the pool. I didn't know that. Why didn't you tell me that? All these little tips. All right. Okay. Now moving on to Stanley. So we are going to the beach. We're going to the pool. We definitely need to keep all of our snacks cool. This is Stanley's cooler. So cute. Isn't this just adorable? I love the way this looks. It actually has this little pocket here, so you can actually fit your quenchers. And this is their latest design for their quenchers. Isn't this adorable? Love Shack Fancy. Oh, okay. Stanley. This cooler keeps everything cool. It actually does work really well. And it looks so much fun. Like, I love this. It's so pretty. We were talking about sports backstage. Like, if you're going to sports activities, you can put this in here. And actually, a nice cooler. And it's a backpack. So how great is that? Right. I love the bow details because it is with the Love Shack Fancy, so it's so much fun. Kids love it. And it gets you to drink more water, which is really important. Like, I know we try to avoid, like, carrying a big jug, but you just have to. Or some people use it as an accessory they just carry it around. Yeah, that's true. And never take it with them. Yeah. Very cute. All right. Something else for Amanda here because she has a furry friend at home. Furry baby. Okay, so your furry baby needs to take a shower, too. Don't talk about her husband that way. Baby. This is for your dogs. This helps to make them smell good. You guys have to smell this. It smells so good. It has a banana scent to it, which is so good. Banana? It's the fruit of the summer. Smell this. I want to use it on myself. Oh, wow. It smells so delicious. So this is an adorable line for puppies. They have candles. They have all this fun stuff. This is their wash. Wow. The funny thing is, when I came here, my suitcase was overweight, so I had to, like, get rid of something. So that was actually four pounds exactly. So I gave this to the people working at the desk at Delta. Thanks, Delta. They're like, this is amazing. And so, like, they were in love with it, too. Wow. So everyone loves this product.
