I Bought the Viral Home Depot Christmas Tree🎁 Plus, a Huge Holiday Haul and Decor Tour!

Hi everyone, welcome back to the channel. It's Rachel and today is going to be a decorate the Christmas tree video with me. Also really quick before I get into it, let me share with you what I got from the Dollar Tree today. I got so lucky. I got these beautiful plates that I scored. I'm not even gonna lie y'all, there are people in there grabbing them so I got what I could. Home for the holidays, joy, another beautiful joy one with the little wreath in the middle. I think most of them are all joy, yeah. Oh and another happy holidays. These are just absolutely stunning. I love them and me and my family will definitely enjoy them. For a dollar twenty-five you really can't beat it. Moving on, I also got these two little kitchen towels and this for the kitchen. It's just so cute. This is my home the day after Halloween y'all. I took down most of my stuff and we are prepping for Christmas. This is our new tree this year. It's so gorgeous. We got it from Home Depot. She was a little pricey but I think she was worth every penny. Today I have to get a tree skirt then that'll be the end of that but my kids love this tree. We love the twinkle lights. I also love how it has a remote control and you can change the features on it so I think that's pretty cool and let me see. So there you go. Look how cute and then we have this one also. I love this one in the day and then at night we love the colored lights. Today your girl is doing a peppermint themed tree and I thought you guys could do it with me. This is my first time doing a theme on a tree. Usually I just go crazy and we just throw it all there but I wanted to try something new. We have red ornaments, we have peppermint themed ornaments or candy cane. Oh my goodness just adorable. These are all for the tree y'all. Oh my gosh I'm so excited. Yeah time has passed. Oh my gosh I just burnt the house like the like the thing sparked up and almost got electrocuted and it shut off all the lights. At least in the living room. You hope it works huh? Holy crap. Look how crazy this looks. Do you see where that burn is? So yeah that was insane. I've never almost been electrocuted to the point where I mean everything blew out. Yeah never again. This was actually from years ago my mom-in-law had it and I don't know why we thought this was a good idea to use something from many years ago but I have learned my lesson. Smells like fire in here. Also I apologize I did not continue with the vlog because I was so into decorating. First of all we had no idea that we got the viral tree from Home Depot but the flocked version so that is hilarious. I love the Tinklow lights and I think it's worth it. It was 300 so a little pricey but the green one is 600. I don't know if I'd pay that much for Tinklow lights but I love the tree and you'll see later on throughout the vlog how I decorated it. Good morning loves. Okay yesterday I knew I had a mission and that was to decorate that tree and bring you guys along for the journey. It didn't work out because I just got so into it. It's so hard to just document while you're like trying to do stuff sometimes but anyway I am about to go to Ross. I want to take you guys with me. I'm gonna pick up a few things. I've pretty much finished Christmas decorating in our home. I just need like a few little more things and then I will be done and showing you what I did to the home. So this season I decided to shop at Ross, Five Below, and Burlington and they had really good things especially at Ross. They are very inexpensive. I'm definitely going back for some stockings for the kids and I and I'm so excited and then they had the cutest little pictures. I almost got this candy cane one but decided to put it back for another one that you'll see later on throughout the video but I am coming back for sure for stockings and I still need to find the perfect garland because some of them are a little too pricey for me. I love garlands but I'm only willing to pay a certain amount and then Five Below as you can see I'm looking at Christmas trees. The four foot ones because my kids wanted one this year but they only had like a silver one and I know my kids like either a white or a green one. The pillows at Five Below were amazing. I highly recommend. I'm actually gonna go back just to buy maybe two more. One for my bedroom and then one for the kids room. I loved it and they had a really cool stocking stuffers so I'm gonna go back because Five Below is one of those places that if you see it you have to grab it before they're all gone. All right quick haul time. Let me show you what I picked up. This beauty was from Ross. I just love it. This is actually gonna go right above the TV because that's a little too small for us. I got two peppermint pillows. Adorable from Five Below. You really could not beat this. Five apiece and then I got a little gingerbread man and he's the cutest. My daughter I think is gonna be the most obsessed with him because she loves plushies so he's gonna be so adorable. I got two throw blankets. One for the couch and then one for my little entrance. I'll show you all and then I got two mats so I don't know which one is gonna go near the front door or the back door. I think this should go in the front honestly. He sees you when you're snacking. So cute and this is gonna go for the back because it kind of matches what I got going on with like the fake snow and yeah I pretty much decorated already like okay I'll show you the completed project after. All right guys I just got my husband to put up my beautiful picture and I want to show you my okay y'all let me show you what I have going on so far. I live in a townhome right now and so my garage is pretty much her entrance because it's just it's closer to I don't really know how to explain it but. All right y'all so let me show you my decor for 2023. It has completely changed in comparison to previous years because I've had this same decor forever that was passed down to me and since moving everything is still in storage so I pretty much brought all new things and I tried to keep it simple. This is the door that comes from the entrance of the garage but I have my new placemat and I have it this way because I like to be the one to see happy holidays you know but it's super cute I got to get a little wreath for that door eventually and then when you walk in you have the family picture it's a family tree and it has all of our names on it and then as well as this wall it's just you know all of us down there. Straight ahead is this cute little mirror that says Merry Christmas from Target and I love it it's just so simple and I kind of like how the greenery matches you know and like the woodsy and then I have this piece that I got passed on from my grandmother and unfortunately it broke but it is what it is and I just put these little trees in here from Dollar Tree and then I have my cute little blanket there that I got today and then here is my favorite part it is the Christmas village and I got some snow my little fake snow and look how beautiful all the homes light up we have Mr. and Mrs. Claus and you go under here and we have the nativity set that my grandma passed on to me a tree and some nutcrackers I just love it it's just so cozy and so yeah this is how it looks this is all the decorations going upstairs so like I said this is just what I got done so far this is the guest bathroom and I have to clean it y'all but we have my little snowman hello guys and then just a little mat so very simple I have to change up the soaps to Christmas ones but that's eventually when they hit Dollar Tree because I just get the little you know little plastic ones I don't really go all out I'm not yet completed with the kitchen but I will show you thus far this is what we got going on I love it the only thing that I need to do is put lights on top of the garland up there and yeah that's pretty much it but we live in a smaller home than we did last year so I didn't put up all of my stuff so I tried to put up what I really really enjoyed I love this carousel it's just so cute and I have the nutcrackers they're gardening and then when you come down to the kitchen I tried to tell a little story we have milk for Santa we have the cookies for Santa and then we have him right here coming under the chimney and then I always have a candle here of some sort just usually I turn on the candles at night when everybody's asleep and the house is cleaned I got these from the Dollar Tree they're little gnomes marry everything that was from the Dollar Tree too so just very simple this is Dollar Tree and then I've had this for many years it's a wax smell and after I'm done cooking I like to have my house that nice so look how cute that is this novelty basket from Dollar Tree and then y'all these are from Dollar Tree they are the you know the dish mats now these are pretty thin these are good quality this is my Halloween ones I just put this over it and called it a day but yeah this is my little kitchen decor so far eventually I'm gonna get the Christmas soaps so for now that's what we have and then I have mr. Santa right here he is a cookie jar I never put anything in it I just I like it it's cute I got that from Target last year you come to this side of the kitchen I've had this for many years as you can see up close it's kind of yeah this maybe it's last year but I love love love this we have the camper here I'm gonna put twinkle lights around we have the nutcrackers guarding the wine super super cute I used a lot of nutcrackers this year in the decorations this piece is not gonna stay here for long it's just here for now we have the living room which is my favorite this is the front door we have the gingerbread man and I gotta get a wreath a new wreath I love this cute little pillow here and then my mom gave me this for Christmas last year it's so cute it's a wax melt actually and then we have me mini she's so adorable y'all I live in Orlando so we had to incorporate Disney somehow and then look how beautiful their tree is I really really worked hard I'm doing the peppermint theme these two pillows you saw I got from five below so I was so happy and then we have more nutcrackers on the side and we have the nativity set that my mom-in-law made like actually made I have to get a garland I don't want it to take away from the tree so I don't know what kind of um garland I'm gonna do I don't know something simple something simple this is the pillows that I have on the couch I love it it's like super super cute it's hot chocolate and mr. gingerbread man and I have my throw blanket so far this is the dining table I just have this right here I don't know what I'm gonna put in the center maybe just just a small little centerpiece nothing crazy and then I put this over and it's very simple I'm probably gonna put lights above it and like a red bow and then I put more garland on our stairs so look at that so I kept it pretty simple for the most part I think I'm gonna clean up my home so I'll do update a video eventually the whole house cuz I haven't decorated upstairs yet I haven't decorated my bedroom yet and yeah I'm still cleaning cuz you know when you decorate it gets kind of messy so so far my main area that I take the most time though is the living room because we're there the most you know watching movies being cozy so I'll see you guys in my next video I hope you enjoyed let me know what's your favorite item also I highly highly recommend to go to five below the deals are amazing okay these pillows are so cute five bucks you can't beat it
