Why we can’t stop being the “good girl” .. even as moms.

If you want my support in motherhood (both coaching and community), start here ❤️ https://www.verygoodmothersclub.com/youtube-dta
We talk a lot about being “good”, but what does that actually mean? In this video I’m digging into the pressure to be the “good girl”: going along with what everyone else thinks, wants, and feels, even when it means abandoning what we actually think and feel ourselves.
We touch on how this shows up in real, specific ways, parenting in front of our own parents, trying to impress people we work with, even being “good” at the doctor because we’re scared of what happens if they don’t like us. So much of it comes down to living to be liked, instead of living to be true.
I also answer two DM questions:
• How do you know if you should have another baby?
• I lost my job and I’m scared, how do I know what to do next?
If any of this resonates, I’d love for you to join us for coaching inside Very Good Mothers Club. 🤍
