Second rescue of the day brought me to Lancaster, Ohio to meet “Kitty”, a gorgeous 11 month old void of a cat that just developed a knack for slipping out of the door (yes she is spayed).
The tree was fun like climbing as a child and Kitty was sweet as could be.

AI GeneratedDwayne and Layla work together to rescue a frightened kitten. After using treats to calm the animal and carefully securing her, Dwayne successfully retrieves the kitten and brings her safely inside, where she is fed and introduced to the home environment.
Mj, I'm Dwayne. Hi Dwayne. Nice to meet you. Layla. Layla. Pleasure. That poor kitty. She's so sad.
How much do you want to do with this? I've never asked for anything. Oh, a little kitty.
Little baby. Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty. You ever give her those squeezy treats? Yeah.
You don't have any? I have one. I don't know if it's the kind she likes.
Kitty, kitty. Hey kitty, you're okay. I'm going to see if I can get close to her and see what
she does. Oh, you're a pretty kitty. You're a pretty little kitten. What's this kitty's name?
Pretty creative. Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty. I'm here to help you, pretty girl. Oh,
she has some scared looking eyes. Her eyes are bugging out, man. You're okay, kitty.
Oh, you're a sweet kitty, aren't you? I'm going to have to go a little higher so I can get you
because I'm going to feed her a little bit to see if she'll calm down. Hey kitty. Oh,
you're a big girl. I would like to get higher. I don't like reaching up above a cat like that.
There you go, kitty. Does she let you hold her? Think she'll let me hold her? Maybe after giving
this food she might. Yeah, I'm going to go a little higher just so it doesn't get
sketchy when I try to pull her from above me. She seems pretty chill though. Yep,
got to take care of those feet. Okay, now this should work out. Now I should be able to pick
you up, baby. All right, it gets hairy when I scruff them. Sorry, I know that's scary, but
I need to be able to get you out of here, cat. Come on. Yes, that's better, baby. Look,
you're on my lap now. I'm going to put you in this bag, girl. You're not going to like it.
She might freak out in this bag. Nope, she's pretty calm with the scruff. Okay, the cat's in
the bag. Hi. Hi. Are you down now? Do you feel better? All right, let's take her in the house
before we let her out, okay? Yeah. Here, I'll untie this. Hi, you're a big, wide doggie. Yeah.
Hi. Hi, baby. Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty. Here, I have the rest of this treat.
See if she'll take some. Kitty, kitty, look. Yeah, she's probably starving. Come here.
Back up, puppy. Get away. Kitty, look. Get away. There you go. Do you have a bowl that she eats
out of? Yeah. Here you go. She's probably starving. Kitty, kitty, come here. Now we
got to keep Simba from eating your treat. She's a pretty girl. Thanks for being sweet, kitty.
