Mike Macdonald & Seattle Overcome Loss of Sam Darnold

Hey, I wanna walk you back to the game on Wednesday night. So Mike McDaniel, he ends up losing, Mike McDonald, he ends up losing his starting quarterback in the opening drive. And John Schneider has put together the GM, an amazing roster. They bring in a backup quarterback in Drew Locke. Man, if you're the New England Patriots, you cannot let that Seattle team with 48 plays win a game like that and you lose a game like that. You had eight months, Randy, to prepare yourself for what happened in that Super Bowl and that's the performance you put out? I mean, not very good if you're the Patriots, pretty good if you're Seattle getting that win. I was impressed with Locke, I guess. I mean, I do remember the Geno Smith-Drew Locke battle for this spot there in Seattle. He gets his shot, he did a really nice job. But their defense was, it was deadly, it really was. And you know, New England made some, especially in that fourth quarter. And you can defend Drake May and look at his stats and do whatever you want, you are what you put out there. And what he put out there in the fourth quarter was, you know, you would rate them somewhere in the mid-20s of the 32 starting quarterbacks with that kind of effort. And if you want to be better than that, put it on the field and prove it.
