Z-blogger Roman Alekhine demanded that the Russian regime agree to a cessation of hostilities in Ukraine along the current front line, declaring that continuing the war will lead to the destruction of Russian statehood in the coming years. He spoke about this in an interview with Russian journalist Ksenia Sobchak.

According to him, if the war continues, then in three years NATO will join in and put further pressure on Russia, which is already severely exhausted by that time. "About the line of contact, here and now, right now, today, yes, or tomorrow. If we continue this way, NATO will be involved in three years. And by that time, we will be completely exhausted and we will have lost our state," said the Z-blogger, adding that this is his "turbo-patriotic position." When Sobchak asked him if Russia really had no chance in a conflict with NATO, Alekhine answered in the affirmative. "We are obviously going to lose," he said. According to the Z-blogger, the war will end with a peace treaty, and it will not come to the use of nuclear weapons, "unless someone overthrows Putin." If Putin is overthrown, Alekhine allows for the collapse of Russia or the use of nuclear weapons. “Without Putin there will be either one thing – extremely bad for Russia, or another – extremely bad for the world and Russia,” he added.

Prior to this, another Russian propagandist, Yevgeny Norin, stated that the war had reached a dead end and called on the Kremlin to make peace, pointing to Russia's worsening economic and political situation. Norin stated that the Russian army's offensive has been blocked. "There is progress on the battlefield, but it's slow... I'm somewhat skeptical of the idea that the enemy will run out of men tomorrow... Now, as far as I can tell, their situation has stabilized. The fighting for Slavyansk and Kramatorsk could continue at this pace for a very long time. I wouldn't say years, so as not to upset anyone too much. But yes, years," the propagandist said. He called for a swift end to aggression against Ukraine, as Russia's situation is deteriorating every day. "Our economic, social, and political difficulties are accumulating and deepening. The external situation is worsening because our partners are watching. For us, the economic situation is deteriorating particularly sharply... The costs of the war are also very heavy for us. If we don't find a way to sign a peace treaty, it will be a freeze on the war for an indefinite period, with uncertain consequences. And this situation will remain unstable for a very, very long time. But a freeze is what we are apparently heading towards... If we continue to fight in the current regime, it will distort all aspects of life in Russia and Ukraine, and will ricochet across Europe," Norin said.
