USC Trojans discuss playing young guys

A lot of you guys, a lot of the young guys, do you feel like you can sense that that's helping? Yes, sir. Even, you know, we had a bunch of people come in early, develop. I think 32 of our guys in the freshman class came in early. So they're able to develop early on our amazing staff. And I think it's an amazing opportunity for everyone on the team just to get their feet wet. The play-action look on that, was that a scouted look, or was that something that kind of evolved? Yeah, I mean, back to Coach Riley's offensive master in mind, he puts stuff in practice week by week that it's going to show up in the game. And it's been amazing to see that unfold, really live in action, that you see those looks in practice and it comes to fruition in the game. So very grateful to have him and many others behind me. So how did you see him kind of shake that off? Yes, sir. Yeah, I mean, really it was just a simple miscommunication between us two. You know, he's an amazing player, always is going to execute well. I mean, he's put amazing stuff on film. So you know, just got to be better myself there and come down with it, find a way.
