The Russian Armed Forces command is attempting to recapture positions lost during the Ukrainian Armed Forces counterattack north of Liman. Everyone, even cooks, has been deployed to the meat-filled assaults. This was reported by Russian Z-war correspondents. The popular Z-channel "Two Majors" reports that local commanders are forming assault groups from anyone they can get their hands on. Naturally, there's no talk of any combat coordination. "They are trying to cover up the lies of specific commanders with futile assaults, while at the same time trying to fool Moscow headquarters again," the statement reads. The Rybar channel, which is considered close to the Russian Ministry of Defense, also reports a shortage of trained fighters. According to the channel, riggers, cooks, and service members from support units are being deployed to counterattack. The result of such actions is even more serious losses without the return of lost positions. The Russian Ministry of Defense and Kremlin Prime Minister Vladimir Putin have not publicly commented on the Ukrainian offensive near Liman. Meanwhile, some Z-channels are already calling the events a "catastrophe." The change in Russian reports about Svyatogorsk is also telling. Since September 2, the Russian Ministry of Defense has not mentioned the city in its reports or publications, even though Putin declared it captured the day before. Z-channels frankly state that the Russian army still has 25 kilometers to reach the city. Z-channels complain about Ukraine's advantage in UAVs. Because of this, the Russian army's attempts to repel the offensive are failing. At the end of June, Putin claimed that the Russian army had almost completed the capture of Liman. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces allegedly had only 149 houses left to occupy out of 11,000. Now Russian sources describe a completely different situation. They report that Ukrainian forces have consolidated their positions in Sredne, Novoselivka, Yarovaya, and Aleksandrivka. Fighting continues for Kolodyazi, as well as in the Yampolovka and Terny areas. Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces appear to have succeeded in crossing the Zherebets River, which had become significantly shallower over the summer. According to Russian sources, Russia has transferred additional forces from the Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions to the Limansk sector. However, the logistics of the Russian Armed Forces in this area are disrupted. "Our units were forced to withdraw from some areas due to a lack of supplies," Z-channels claim. Russian sources admit that the line of combat operations is expanding, and the existing forces are insufficient to reliably hold it. In their opinion, the Russian army needs permanent reserves that could be quickly redeployed to a problematic area. However, instead, command is forced to withdraw units from adjacent areas.
