From Denzel Washington in an interview.
He's at a university.
He's being asked a question.
I love his answer.
I think everybody in the world can learn from his answer here.
Go forward.
The hardest thing to do is look in the mirror.
The easiest thing to do is blame someone else.
I'm not talking about anybody.
I'm talking about everybody is so easy to go.
If we could just get them, right?
If we could just fix her or just fix him, then we we don't look in the mirror.
That's where it should start.
Well, what can I do better?
Well, why don't you try being honest with yourself Denzel or whatever your
name is yourself real questions and give yourself honest answer you've
helped is what matters who you've lifted up.
You can't have more success than I've had and I'm here to tell you doesn't
mean a daggone thing.
It complicates things.
It's lonely at the top.
Look at the pyramid.
Trust me.
I'm been at the top.
It's a pyramid.
It's like a it's like this, right?
Like a pyramid.
It's very slippery up.
There is not a lot of room.
It's easy to slide down and it's hardly anybody up there.
So be careful of what you ask for and don't measure it by what the world
tells you.
Success is what a power.
I love that.
Slippery at the top here.
You can't left or right.
Not a lot of boxes.
So you're getting up.
There's one thing staying up.
There's a second thing, but also always trying to see if the other person can
fix themselves.
It'll be so much better.
It's like, well, what if the other guy King can fix himself?
What if the other guy can do something about it?
No, what if you and I can do something about it?
It's never been the most exciting message when you give this when people
come up to me and say that person did this.
This person did this.
That person did this.
Or what can you do to improve it?
