Well, well, well, Ilhan Omar just vanished.
Yes, 23 days, guys, no speeches, no rallies,
no fiery tweets, right in the middle of her own reelection campaign.
Somewhere in Minnesota,
there's an empty podium, a microphone collecting dust,
and a campaign intern quietly printing her
face on a milk carton.
This is the woman who told us, I will not be silenced.
And credit where it's due,
guys. I mean, she hasn't been silenced.
She's been silent. Big difference. And in a twist that
shocked absolutely nobody except CNN, even CNN turned on her.
Jake Tapper, a man who earns
millions to have thoughts on television,
looked into the camera and said that she should have
confessed to the Biden DOJ while it was still open for business.
So when Jake Tapper starts
writing your escape plan,
you already know you don't need a lawyer. You need a moving truck.
Because the Wall Street Journal just dropped the hammer,
guys. President Donald Trump's
Justice Department isn't handing out a parking ticket.
It is building a case to strip her
citizenship and send her right on back to Somalia.
Now, for somebody who complains about America this
much, you would think that she would be thrilled to leave.
Federal agents raided her Washington,
D.C. home and walked out with her phone,
her computers, and her passport. Her passport,
guys. So if this is a getaway, it's happening on a greyhound,
maybe on a paddle boat. About a dozen
subpoenas hit her inner circle.
Her sister investigators reportedly can't even find her
either. Now, apparently hide and seek runs in the family.
Oh, and the warrant signed by a Democrat
appointed judge. Let that land.
It all comes down to one tiny little number, a birth year that her
own staff asked to change.
So a father with no naturalization record anyone can find and a Biden
DOJ that dug all of this up in 2024
and then gently kind of tucked it into the bed and turned
off the light. Now today, we're going to go
and flip the lights back on. Everything CNN tiptoed
around. You won't get it right here.
Now, before we jump in, guys, if you're new here, go ahead
and hit subscribe because unlike certain congresswomen,
we actually show up for work and
we deliver. And so if we do deliver for you,
go ahead and smash the like button on the way out.
Totally appreciate you. So let's go ahead and set the scene.
It's October, midterm season.
Every politician in America is kissing babies
and shaking hands and begging for your vote. I mean,
they're pleading. Vote for me, please. Vote for Pedro.
Vote for Pedro. Every politician except
one. In Minnesota,
Ilhan Omar's campaign has all the energy of a closed down blockbuster.
It's kind of like the daycares that they had,
you know, they were scamming all these families who
were trying to feed the children.
Anyway, soggy yard signs in the rain, a phone ringing in an
empty office, nobody picks up. Now, rewind.
For years, she dared President Trump, investigate me
all you want. She said it like a woman holding four aces.
So they investigate her. I mean,
they took her up on the offer.
And then all of a sudden, the loudest voice in Congress has the
volume of a mime in a library. Day 1, nothing.
Day 10, nothing. Day 23, still nothing. She's
not running for Congress anymore.
She's running for the hills. So Ilhan Omar has gone 23 days
without saying a word. We can't go 23 hours, guys.
So we went ahead and built the Ryan
Report newsletter. It's totally free and it lands right in your inbox.
Now, here's why it matters
so much for you. When a politician goes quiet in Washington,
it usually means that your tax
dollars are about to get very, very loud.
We tell you where your money is going before
it's already gone. The link is in the description down below.
Go ahead and join now. It's totally
free. Unlike certain members of Congress, it actually shows up.
So for months, everybody
guessed. Is it money? Is it prison?
Is it some boring paperwork mix-up that ends with a fine
and a shrug? But then the Wall Street Journal walked
in and essentially flipped the table.
According to U.S. officials,
the Trump DOJ is building a case to strip Ilhan Omar's
citizenship and then deport her to Somalia.
Now, here's what this means in plain English.
When you become a citizen, you get a card.
If the government proves you got that card by lying,
they can go ahead and take that
card right on back.
That is called denaturalization.
Think of it as the world's most expensive return policy.
Now, here's the part that still confuses me, right?
She spent years telling us everything that's wrong with America.
A one-way ticket out? That
sounds like a dream come true, right? So why the big fight?
Why don't you just leave since America's
so crappy, according to her? Now picture this, right?
A quiet street outside Washington, D.C.,
morning coffee, birds are chirping,
then a line of black SUVs just rolls up. Out steps agents from
HSI, Homeland Security Investigations, search warrant in hand.
They just walk into the home
of a sitting member of Congress,
and they walk out with all sorts of evidence, bags, her phone,
her computers, her passport.
Omar, which was raided earlier this morning by Homeland Security
investigators. David Spahn has the latest. David.
Well, hey, good morning. We're told this happened
a little bit shortly after six o'clock
this morning here at Congresswoman Omar's home in
Washington, D.C. It's unclear if she's home at this time.
It does not appear so because we've
been out here for several hours now after this happened.
You can see on scene behind me,
there are several investigators
from Homeland Security Investigations. I'm going to back out
of the way. Homeland Security Investigations, they go by HSI.
They are on scene. Also told
that DOJ involved in this investigation.
We don't have details, guys, specifically about what the
investigation entails, but we can report that it
is a federal criminal investigation. I want to
read a statement from a DOJ spokesperson.
It says, quote, today in the Washington, D.C. area,
Homeland Security Investigations executed
a judicially authorized search warrant secured
by the Department of Justice.
This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal criminal
investigation. Again,
we are out here at the congresswoman's home in Washington, D.C.
No public comments from her at this time,
but agents have been out here for several hours,
fairly quiet on the street today on this Columbus Day here
in Washington, D.C. A couple of agents
outside going in and out of the home,
but not a real strong presence, but still no comment from
the congresswoman at this time.
But we can confirm she is under federal criminal investigation. I do
want to add one more thing if I can, guys.
A judge did have to sign off on this search warrant. This
is not something DOJ or Homeland Security could just do ad hoc.
This is something a federal judge
would have had to sign off on uh for them behind me
to be here today guys, so David we are
reaching out to our sources, one of our sources
is telling us this is in connection with a RICO
investigation. My question is since they've raided
the D.C. home, is Minnesota being raided at the same
time right now, or do we know? Yeah, we have
no information on Minnesota. It's a question we've
asked. Nothing at this time. Uh, we obviously know she lives
in Minnesota, she may presumably be there
right now, that could be part of the investigation.
But as far as the D.C. angle of this, we just know
the D.C. home right now is part of this investigation.
But certainly a judge in Minnesota
would have that option to give authorities that opportunity to go
and check out a home there.
But as of now, we just have this home confirmed.
All right, David, great stuff. If anything else
breaks, please come back to us. More Fox and Friends next.
So now here's the part that should
make every Democrat in Washington sweat.
You can't raid a Congresswoman's house because
somebody's grumpy. A judge has to look at the evidence
and sign off. And the judge,
who signed this one, was appointed by a Democrat.
Let that land for a second. Her own team's referee
looked at the replay and said, yep, that's a foul.
This is how heavy that pile of evidence
must have been. Even Democrats look exhausted defending
her at this point. And for anybody
who's wondering whether she already slipped out of the country,
relax guys, they have her passport.
I guess she could still technically slip out
of the country unless she's planning to swim to
Somalia. She ain't getting that far.
I guess she could take a paddle boat or a jet ski if she can
fill up somewhere. Now, you know that one friend
who swore that this story would never go anywhere?
Go ahead and text him this video right now.
Don't even say a word. Just hit send. Let the video do
the talking. Now, let's talk about subpoenas, okay?
Fancy word, very simple meaning. A subpoena is
the government knocking on your door and saying, hand it over.
Bank statements, text messages,
emails, that dusty file cabinet in the garage
that you hope nobody would ever open that you
still can't find the key for, oh, they're going to open it for you.
A federal grand jury sent
about a dozen of these to Ilhan Omar's inner circle.
A dozen, guys. This is not a fishing
trip. This is a fleet of fishing boats with sonar radar.
Investigators are also eyeing
these possible new charges, conspiracy and false statements.
In plain English, that means
we think a whole bunch of people got
their stories straight. Yeah. Then it gets even
weirder. The Times reported her sister was served,
but a source says investigators can't
even find her. So let's count.
The congresswoman? Missing. The sister? Missing.
Now, at this point, the family reunion
is being held at the Lost and Found.
Either this family has a world-class talent for disappearing,
or somebody knows exactly where they are, and they're not talking.
Tonight, Fox News has learned subpoenas have
been issued to multiple family members
of Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
She is the subject of a pair of federal investigations.
Correspondent David Spunt has the latest tonight.
Good evening, David.
Correct. Good evening to you.
Tonight, we have some new information on these dual probes,
these dual federal probes
into the Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar from Minnesota.
First, we just learned that her cell phone was seized
as part of this immigration-related investigation.
More than a dozen family members also,
as you mentioned, received subpoenas,
which is part of this immigration probe that played out very publicly,
Brett, on Monday during that raid of her Washington, D.C. home.
Homeland Security agents and DOJ investigators are looking
at whether Ilhan Omar's declared age on applications to come
to the United States and later to become a U.S. citizen are inaccurate.
She came to the United States in 1995
and became a citizen five years later in 2000.
Authorities are looking at potential immigration fraud over
a period of years, and they're specifically looking
at paperwork connected to her father's application,
which ultimately helped get her into the United States.
separately there's another federal investigation involving Omar
and here is where one tiny number
blows up an entire career in 2019 after Ilhan Omar
was already sitting in Congress her staff
asked to change her listed birth year from 1991 to 1992 one year
who cares right people fudge their
age all the time usually on dating apps usually
to look younger not to qualify for citizenship
Here's why this one matters, though.
Her citizenship came through her dad.
This is called derivative citizenship.
Think of it kind of like a lock with two keys.
Key number one, her father had to be a naturalized citizen.
Key number two, she had to be a minor.
Under 18, when it happened.
17, the lock opens.
Welcome to America.
18, well, the lock stays shut.
Sorry, please try again.
So, one little digit decides whether that door ever opened at all.
Oh, and right now, both keys are in question.
So this kind of leaves the question
that the media keeps on tiptoeing around,
kind of like it's a sleeping pit bull.
How do you strip a citizenship that she may never have had?
Yeah, you can't return something you never bought.
Okay, explain to me why the staff would end up going to this,
you know, congressional reference library.
I think this is more of a political question than a legal question.
Well, no, it's both.
But do you think they would have shown them her birth certificate?
I'm just saying, where is the birth certificate?
Well, so the question I think is, you know,
when I was reading some of these reports, I thought
that they went there to try to cover up this potential age discrepancy.
Right. It was after she was elected to Congress that I think
that there was a concern that that was going to be under scrutiny.
Well, here we are years later and it is under scrutiny.
I think the buzz in Washington has been that,
you know, potentially this had something to do.
fraud might have heard some of this with her father.
Well, now the latest report is it has to do with this, potentially,
this age issue, which would have been derived from her father.
Well, her father coming to the country, getting citizenship,
anyone with a minor then would be granted citizenship.
That's why it's such a big deal
for her to have been 17, not 18 at that time.
What if you're not a minor?
Well, then you don't get the benefits of derivative citizenship.
So, therefore, if this is fraudulent,
she could be facing up to 10 years in jail.
And if her citizenship were to be revoked, she could be deported.
Ooh, all right.
So let's go ahead and check key number one.
Her father, Noor Omar Mohammed.
Okay, the family arrived in America
in 1995 straight from a refugee camp.
Now, buckle up, guys.
In 2023, under Joe Biden, not Trump, the Department of Homeland
Security went looking for her father's naturalization record.
They found nothing.
No record, zero.
Now, think about that.
First of all, if they just arrived here from a refugee camp,
don't you think they'd be a lot
more grateful just to be here in America instead
of talking ---- about it? Now, think about that,
guys. Joe Biden's DHS couldn't find the southern border with a map
and a flashlight, but this,
this they managed to find, or rather, not find.
So, if her father was never naturalized,
key number one doesn't even exist.
It doesn't matter if she was 17, 18, or 45 years old,
the lock never opened. Now,
investigators are digging into something even bigger than that.
Did her father lie about his military background in Somalia
when he applied to come here?
Serious allegations are flying around the role that he played there.
Now, those claims are still under investigation,
but if he lied on that application,
every piece of paperwork stacked on top of that starts to wobble.
It's basically a Jenga tower.
Pull the bottom block and the whole Jenga tower,
the whole family history hits the floor.
So when CNN starts sounding nervous for a Democrat,
the walls are closing in.
This is kind of like the fire department pulling up
and looking at your house and saying,
ah, just go ahead and let this one burn.
It's already done. Jake Tapper, he had a whole plan.
If she really lied about her age,
he said she should have strolled into the Biden DOJ,
admitted it, paid a little fine, and gone home.
A little fine, like a library book that's three
weeks late. Jake, buddy, this is not a parking ticket.
The allegation is lying to become an
American citizen. This is a big freaking deal.
Staying quiet for over 20 years and then sitting
in Congress writing laws for the rest of us, that's not a fine.
This is clearly a federal case.
With Evan and Kaylin is that she may have,
and we're not saying this is true, but the allegation
is that when she was an adult, maybe 18, maybe 19,
she claimed to be a minor, maybe 17. And
because it would be easier to become a citizen
because her father from Somalia was a naturalized
citizen. That seems like a long time ago.
I mean, that was, I think, in the year 2000.
What about the statute of limitations?
Or is it important if she continued,
allegedly, to keep up this lie
and conspiracy to hide the truth from 26 years ago?
Right. Most federal crimes in the immigration area will have
a maximum of a five-year statute
of limitations. We're obviously well beyond that from 2000.
So there could be a couple
possibilities. One, some offenses say
that if a person gets into the country or gets status
by making false statements and then remains in the country,
that will extend, the person
remaining in the country will extend the statute of limitations.
Two, it could be that more recent
paperwork was submitted,
perhaps a reapplication or renewal could be somebody relating to
Representative Omar, somebody around her.
And then three, if prosecutors have evidence that
within the last five years,
there's been some evidence of obstruction, some effort to get
stories straight, to destroy documents,
to persuade potential witnesses to say a certain
thing, then those obstruction charges,
if they happened within the last five years,
would also be within the statute of limitations.
So I think it's one of the bigger mysteries around
this case, but those are three possibilities.
Just quickly, if this is true, would it not
have been wiser for the congresswoman to have gone
to the Biden Justice Department and said this has
happened and there was a mistake and I'd like to come clean
and pay whatever fine and then that way
this you know not left up to the Trump Justice Department
is that I mean has that occurred to you
or it's a really tricky dilemma that any subject
of this type of investigation might have and indeed
she might have fared better under
the Biden administration but look it's an important point
of all this. There was some investigation,
as I think Evan just said, that was started under
the Biden administration, reopened under
the Trump administration. So I think that's going
to undermine any argument she may have down
the line that this is politically selective and
vindictive. But again, then again,
Donald Trump has given her plenty of ammo to argue that she's
being singled out. And then CNN's own legal analyst slammed
her biggest escape hatch,
the it was too long ago excuse.
Yeah, three doors stay wide open. Number one,
she stayed here on that status, so the clock keeps ticking.
Two, newer paperwork was filed.
Three, obstruction, shredded documents,
witnesses getting their story straight. Turns out,
time doesn't heal everything.
Now, here's the part that should really make your blood boil.
This investigation didn't start with Trump.
It started in 2024 under the Biden DOJ. Now,
picture this, right?
Biden's investigators grabbed a shovel, they dig, they hit something,
and then they pop open the box.
A changed birth year, a missing naturalization record,
red flags everywhere. And then what did they do?
Well, they closed the box. They kicked the dirt
back in, they padded it flat,
and then they just walked away whistling. Nothing to see here,
no charges, no hearings, no headlines, nothing.
Shocking. I know, right? You might want to sit
down for this one. A Democrat DOJ found a problem
with a Democrat Congresswoman and decided it
wasn't a problem. The machine protecting the machine.
Now, here's the twist that wrecks her
whole defense, guys. For years, the plan was simple.
Scream, Trump is targeting me. This is
weaponization of the government,
except Trump didn't even start this one. Biden did. That's
right. Trump's DOJ just walked into the backyard,
picked up the same shovel, and started digging.
And this time, nobody's filling the hole back in.
So what happens next? Prison, a plane,
one-way ticket to Somalia, deportation, what is it, right?
Here's a simple question. The
government has two roads. Road number one, civil court.
A judge looks at the paperwork and decides
whether the citizenship was gotten by lying.
If yes, it's gone, no jail, just an awkward ride
to the airport. Road number two, criminal court.
This is where prison enters the chat. Charges
like false statements, conspiracy,
plus whatever falls out of those documents, subpoenaed file
boxes? Yeah, there were dozens of subpoenaed file boxes,
by the way, and a criminal conviction can
strip citizenship too. Now, picture two doors.
On the left, a courtroom. On the right, a jet bridge.
Yeah. So a whole lot of Americans have a very clear opinion about
which door comes first,
courtroom, then the jet bridge, in that order.
Because if the allegations are true, a plane
ticket alone, that's not really a punishment.
For some people, this is a vacation with some
free peanuts and maybe
those little Biscoff cookies they give you on the airplane. And
regular Americans, they don't get vacations for breaking the law.
We get late fees and prison
time. Now, here's a question nobody in Washington wants
to touch with a 10-foot pole. The Constitution
has rules for who can serve in the House.
You have to be at least 25 years old, and you have
to have been a U.S. citizen for at least seven years.
Not seven-ish, not close enough, seven
years. So, if her citizenship was never valid,
what about every vote she's ever cast? Picture
a giant screen in the House chamber,
years of roll call votes, and next to every single
yay, a tiny little asterisk.
Now, to be fair, guys, there is no clear legal button to undo old
votes. Nobody has ever had to press it.
Which is exactly why Washington would rather talk
about literally anything else other than that.
So, can they kick her out right now? The House
can expel a member, but that takes two-thirds of a vote.
That means Democrats would have to
join in. Democrats voting against a Democrat.
I'll wait for that, right? Meanwhile, her name
is still on the November ballot in Minnesota,
running for a seat that she can't even be
bothered to show up for.
And just when you think it can't get any worse, there is a second
investigation. Janine Pirro, the U.S. attorney in Washington,
D.C., is up for her own probe.
That's right, guys. This one's about money.
Ilhan Omar's financial disclosures and money dealings
involving her husband by the name of Tim Mynette.
Why do they have two different last names? I don't
really know about that yet. But there are two investigations.
There are two fronts. This is
like running from a bear and realizing the bear brought a friend.
Follow the money, guys. It never
lies. Now, zoom out to Minnesota.
The state has been rocked by $2 billion fraud scandals,
daycares with no kids, programs with no programs,
and a lot of it getting cracked open not by the
FBI and definitely not by CNN,
but by regular citizen journalists who walked up and just
knocked on the door. Now, imagine that.
One guy with a phone camera out reporting an entire cable
news network with a billion-dollar budget.
Appreciate you very much, Nick Shirley.
Now, to be very clear, guys, none of that has been pinned on her,
but Americans, they want one
simple thing. If any money was taken, freeze it,
find it, give it all back with interest,
every last dime. Now, here's the jaw-dropper to end on, okay?
Running for Congress is basically
the honor system. You fill out the paperwork,
you swear that you're eligible, and that's it.
That's pretty much it. Nobody at the door checks
your birth certificate. Nobody's running your
citizenship. You need more ID to rent a Kia at the airport.
So ask yourself, how many others
slipped through that same wide open door?
Oh, and what about the staffers? In 2019,
somebody on her team asked to change her birth year.
Who knew? Who helped? Who looked at that
request and thought, sure, totally normal Tuesday.
Accountability doesn't stop at one person.
This is exactly what we voted for, guys.
A Justice Department under President Trump that finally
checks the paperwork.
Everyone else was too scared or just unwilling to touch. Now, picture
that empty podium in Minnesota one more time.
The microphone, the dust, the silence. I will not be
silenced, she said. Yeah, day 23, still silent.
It's funny how that works. Now, look, this is
where we are, guys. A sitting congresswoman is missing her passport,
sitting in an evidence bag.
Her father's paperwork still can't be found.
And the case Biden buried is back above ground,
thanks to President Donald Trump's DOJ.
CNN tiptoed all around this sucker. The machine
tried to bury it, and you found it right here on The Ron Yates Show.
Think of somebody in your life
who's sick of watching the rules apply to everyone except the powerful.
Send them this video, not to
make them angry, because they already are.
Send it so that they know that someone is finally checking
the paperwork, and if today delivered what we promised,
do me one thing on the way out, hit
the like button. It's free, costs you zero dollars,
and it helps this story reach more people who
still have no idea what's happening.
And if you're not subscribed yet, go ahead and fix that right
now. Unlike certain Congresswomen,
we'll be right here tomorrow. We'll see you next time.
