You have a section of books that are separated wonderfully and I don't need to spend too much time over here because you have so much though. Talk about this space. What's all in here aside from books? So we call this our little book nook. It's peaceful, it's organized. You can find obviously all of the books organized by types of books and age levels, holiday, religion, whatever you're looking for. We also have the puzzles and the games, the arts and crafts in this room. This is a great room to visit because these colder days are coming up to keep those kids busy when we're not building snowmen right so this is a great room to come and check out right and and you don't want them to you know in that screen the entire time i think some of these things will keep them from that uh but also you you know to to talk about a room like this this is great for just the parents like teachers also come here as well it's essential for them too yes we get you know obviously the public school teachers but we also get home school teachers that come in and shop the items you know books are expensive really expensive and then the kids read it once and they outgrow it which is why we have libraries but these books are fantastically discounted so great option for teachers as well yeah and then sometimes there's the easel with the whiteboard and there's sometimes there's actual bookshelves here I mean you kind of never know what you're gonna find obviously you've done this for how many years again is it seven years what have you seen when it comes to the sale the one thing that stands out most for people who have never been here before but first step into it? When they first step into it, it's like, wow, this is a lot. Yeah. And it's funny because sometimes we get that, huh, we've never seen that before. That's fun. You know, this sale in particular, we got a crazy amount of boy clothes. So if you're a boy mom, you need to come here. We have just a lot. We have girl clothes too a lot. Right. But yeah, it's always different at each sale. It really is. And I like that too. Clothing to halloween costumes to christmas gifts if you are looking to save, Washington County Fair Park is the place to be this week Brian Cramp spent this morning shopping for deals at the Just Between Friends sale and when you started pointing out some of the prices of these items i was blown away Brian like these are some amazing deals yeah it almost makes you want to have a kid again i was shocked by the you know the sticker shock is one thing when it's high it's another when it's super low and this sale definitely has it because the items are priced accordingly let's just put it that way so what was maybe like the biggest bargain or the most surprising deal that you came across this morning again when i was looking for stuff for my son for the winter that right there set it off because you know we'll pay up to 50 to 70 dollars for a brand new pair of winter boots and kids go through shoes and boots so fast because every six months or so their foot grows but you know you see a 15 dollar pair of gently used maybe not even worn pair of boots or 20 that's that's a steal right i mean at that price tag you can afford for them to keep growing and grow out of them in as quick as a timeline as you're saying there. It's a huge property with so much merchandise available. I almost feel like if it's your first time, it might be a little overwhelming. So what would be your best advice to those shoppers? Yeah, pace yourself. One of the things that Robin said as well was that sometimes first timers come in and they're overwhelmed. They're like, wow, there's a lot going on here but it is so well organized that once you walk in you kind of know where you need to go if you have that list set up in advance if you have specific items that you need and then after you're done with those items knock the items off your list and then find something for the future i think there were some great ideas this morning from Robin about just kind of preparing for the upcoming winter months but also for the gift giving season as well yeah to your point i I was amazed by how organized it is. Everything has a space where it should be. Everything's grouped together. So I appreciate that. That kind of makes it easier to figure out where you need to be, maybe what items you don't need and you can bypass. But the Christmas gift ideas were genius. I mean, we should be saving money anywhere we can these days. And I know, again, you showed us, I mean, baby essentials, Halloween costumes, Christmas gifts. What do you think families should really be making a point of shopping for while they're there? uh probably clothes there were more clothes and i think this was pointed out by Robin as well that there are more boys clothes than ever before in the sales that she's been doing for the past i think seven years um you know that the racks were so filled up that you almost couldn't separate the clothes but if you know the size then you just dive deep into the size of your son and then you start there and then maybe even go up a size or two and just plan for the future again And I would probably start there with the clothes. There was a lot of items there. But then again, there were so many toys as well. I mean, they had everything. And Saturday, there's a little extra opportunity to save as well. Yeah, Saturday. So there are marked items on there that actually don't have a star. That means they're 50% off on Saturday. And for some of the stuff that I was looking at, I mentioned those boots at $15 going down $7.50.
