REACTIVE ABUSE (CHILD VS. PARENT) #robreiner #narcissist #narcissisticabuse

I want to talk about reactive abuse.
And this time around, I'm not referring to a man and a
woman. Okay. When you hear the term reactive abuse,
you immediately think of a man abusing
a woman in a domestic violence situation.
But in this video, we're going to talk about
the parent and child dynamic.
If a parent is toxic and abusive and they abuse their child
their entire life and the child becomes
an adult resenting that parent for abusing them their
entire life there is a high probability that that adult child will snap
and harm the parent that
has been abusing them their entire life
that is reactive abuse this is a follow-up video i did
two videos about the Rob Reiner Rob
and Michelle Reiner if you don't know by now their son Nick
um murdered them in cold blood
while they were sleeping he unalived them he slit their throat
while they were sleeping both of his parents
so you know a lot of people are demonizing Nick
and they're demonizing uh the fact that he had mental illness
and a drug addiction
and it's much more complicated than that um i'm able
to see through uh the veil i think it's a
deep-rooted issue that involves his parents abusing him covertly
and insidiously behind
closed doors. It's just that we, the public, cannot see it.
So I'm going to give a few examples
of reactive abuse between a parent and child, okay?
First of all, I want to talk about the male
and female dynamic, husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, okay?
What is reactive abuse when
it comes to a man and a woman
in a domestic violence situation let's take the movie um the
burning bed okay if you haven't seen
the movie burning bed i don't know if it came out in the
70s or 80s it's been a long time since i've i've
seen it farrah fawcett stars in a movie uh the
movie is basically about her husband uh beating her he he's
so violent he drinks and he beat her
throughout the entire movie
um and she couldn't take it anymore you know she was the sweetest
non-violent she was you know always tending
to her children she was isolated she didn't have
really much of a support system at the end of the movie
while he was sleeping she set his bed on
fire and and burnt him alive and she took her children
and fled packed their things up and
they got in the car and they fled that's how
the movie ended off the burning bed that is reactive
abuse ladies we know this all too well
when you're in a relationship or marriage with an abusive man
and he pokes pokes pokes
and provokes you um starts arguments cheats abuses you put his hands
on you and you take it you keep taking it you
don't tell anybody you know he's isolated you
from your friends and family so you can't really reach out
and tell anybody you're too ashamed
but behind closed doors you are constantly on a day-to-day basis taking
so much abuse off this
man and at the very end of the relationship you
end up snapping maybe you catch him with the side
chick maybe you you know um follow the side chick
and find out where she's living and you pop up on
him and her we have we hear these stories where
the wife will pull out a pew pew when she catches
her husband with his side chick
and we've heard stories where the side chick got got the wife put
a bullet in her. That is reactive abuse.
When a female victim snaps and abuses the male abuser
right back, that is reactive abuse.
Are y'all following me? So now I'm gonna go into what a
child and parent dynamic is.
If a parent is a bully, a narcissist, a very malignant sociopathic
evil ass parent, mother or father,
and they spend your entire lifetime abusing you from the time
you're conceived and if you have siblings they take joy
and pride in bullying you in front of
your siblings praising your siblings putting them up on a pedestal
and comparing y'all that is called
triangulation that is also another form
of abuse child abuse other forms of abuse verbal abuse
calling the child all types of horrible names destroying
and diminishing their self-esteem at
a young age if the child has any developmental
disabilities ADHD autism instead of the parent
getting the child therapeutic services the parent bullies
the child for being slow um not having
social cues not being as fast
or quick as all the other children that is a disability that the child
has but because the parent is a narcissist
and a bully they will perceive their child to be retarded
and and slow and they will bully
and beat the child for for behaving in such a way instead of
getting the child uh the necessary accommodations
and therapy ask me how i know if the child ends
up doing drugs that is to escape
or it's a coping mechanism a lot of children that are abused by
their parents when they become teenagers they turn
to drugs you know they turn to they have sex they
lose their virginity they're looking for an escape something
to feel good something to numb the pain
of the abuse of their parents
their narcissistic toxic parents okay follow me that said child may
try to run away or end up homeless
because the parent has made it known i hate you i can't stand
you i wish you weren't born i love your brother
and sister more than i love you get out of my
house. A lot of us have been kicked out into the streets.
And what happens, either you run away or
get kicked out into the street
and your narcissistic parent will track you down and tell you to come
back home because they want to use you into the ground
to clean up the house, to be a slave around
the house. If you work a part-time job like I did as a teenager,
your mother will take all your
paychecks. Your father will take all your paychecks,
your student loan refund, your tax refund,
your disability checks they want to covet
and take all your money from you that's why they take they
want you to come back to control you use you
and work you like a slave and have dominance over your
money they don't love you
but they need to use you you are the in-house slave the whipping post
the scapegoat child they want to make sure that you stay crippled
and dependent on them they do
not want you to be independent of them
and have your own identity own freedom they don't want you
to blossom or be successful uh without them you have
to remain underneath the thumb of your abusive
narcissistic parent even
though they'll kick you out into the streets a million times they will
have family members stalking you and keeping tabs on you
so that you don't go too far because if you
go too far they're going to panic they need
to have you within arm's reach so that they can always
maintain control dominance over your money
and control everything you do even your friendships
and your love life but what happens
when the child is so far gone um the the the parent can
also enable the child to harm themselves
um if the child turns to drugs the parent will give
them money to buy more drugs just to make sure
the child stays crippled and dependent on them
um it's an endless cycle of enabling
and abuse this child eventually becomes an adult who will
resent their abusive mother
and father for enabling them to harm themselves and also abusing
physically verbally emotionally psychologically on top of the enabling
so when a child becomes
an adult and they end up snapping blacking out harming the parent
or even worse unaliving
murdering their own parent that is what we call reactive abuse
the adult child has spent their
entire life being exposed and bullied
and manipulated and destroyed by that parent and
because they love their parents
so much they have protected their parents reputation throughout the
years and tolerated the abuse quietly behind closed doors
that will push the adult child to
snap and harm the abusive parent
are y'all following me on this is it wrong yes but can
you understand where that blacking out
and wanting to destroy and unalive the parents,
where, where, where is it rooted? Okay. Same thing.
If you get a puppy dog, a sweet puppy dog,
and every day you kick that puppy dog
and you hurt that puppy dog and it keeps happening day
after day, week after week, what will eventually happen?
That puppy dog will turn on you and bite
the living ---- out of you.
Eventually you cannot go around abusing and harming someone and not
expecting them to flip out one day on you.
This includes parents. We have been groomed and taught
to honor our parents, no matter how much they abuse us.
But today, today we are not taking it
from our parents. And we're going
to start hearing more stories about Rob Reiner and what his son did
to him and the baby boomers
who just refused to own up any accountability to harming and abusing
their children. Elderly abuse is on the rise due to reactive abuse.
