It is 4:45, checking in on our coastline here in Ocean City,
waiting for the sun to come on up.
But the waves, they're picking up ever so slightly because
while it's all calm here inland, out on the beach,
there's a little bit of action to talk about, Taylor.
But will it impact us as it moves through?
Yeah, right.
So we have that system well off the shoreline
that is bringing some minor impacts to area beaches.
Here locally, we're going to be in the clear of that system.
But there could be some rough surf and slightly elevated winds all
along the coast for the next day or so before that system pulls away.
Taking a live look outside in downtown D.C.,
we're at 51 degrees with winds out of the north and west.
So, yeah, it's a typical fall morning.
It's cool outside, but it's not that bad.
We're out of the 30s this morning for everyone,
but certainly in the 40s for anyone outside of the city,
you'll need that extra layer with temperatures,
again, in the 40s for most of you.
Let's check in with radar.
Again, not a whole lot to talk about here locally.
we'll have high pressure kind of dominate
our weather pattern for the next week or so we have
that area of low pressure off the shoreline i
was just mentioning it's far enough away that we won't
see any direct impacts here locally
but at the beaches again there could be some rough surf and
elevated winds there 60s for today
and still very dry i think today will be a little bit a little
bit cooler than yesterday's high temperatures
yesterday topped out lower 70s today will be
more or less uh 67 68 degrees for the high temperature
so still a nice day tomorrow same
deal if anything maybe a degree
or two warmer before it gets a little bit cooler towards the
end of the week and the upcoming weekend let's talk about
that coastal system looks like it kind
of skips out on really impacting anywhere across
the U.S. eastern seaboard eventually lifts northward
possibly impacting parts of Canada
and then kind of curves out to sea before we even get into the
upcoming weekend seven day forecast again we're
dry uh certainly very fall-like over the next
couple of days cooler by Thursday excuse me cooler by Friday
and the first half the weekend
with overnight lows morning temperatures in the 30s
for most of you will warm back to near 70
by Tuesday next week
