Steve Ganji was running a printing business, going up against billion-dollar competitors, when he saw a Facebook post about insurance claims and decided to give it a shot. He binged AdjusterTV, showed up to MoCAT with 20 licenses and a ladder, and then drove 12 hours for his very first claim. It turned out to be a $100,000 hail loss on three buildings, and he still uses that file as his portfolio today.
In this interview, Steve talks about how he got into the business in 2022, why he went all in and moved his family into an RV, what training covered and what he only learned on the roof, and what he’d tell anybody on the fence about becoming an independent adjuster.
