Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival returns

The annual Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival returns to Salt River Fields this weekend. Tom Fergus went out there early to get a preview. Yeah, good evening, you guys. Can you believe it's been the 14th annual Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival? Of course, this is the lady that started it all, Vanessa Clifton. Vanessa, congratulations on 14 years. How fun. Thank you very much. We're glad that we've been here that long and that this event is still so popular with families. Yeah, what can they expect this year? How many balloons you got? So we'll have 20 hot air balloons, and they'll all be passing out candy to all the kids. So get them in costume, bring them out, and they'll trick-or-treat from balloon to balloon. I think that is the coolest thing, but there's so much more. You've got a lot going on. You have a magic show, don't you? We have an amazing magic show. He's got some new illusions this year. You guys are going to have a ton of fun. Costume contest, music, food, bounce houses, everything you want for a good family festival. Yeah, what is it about balloons that people just love? You know, they just have a magical quality about them. We call them the Gentle Giants. You don't appreciate how big they are until you really get to walk up and see them. They're just really cool for everybody. Yeah, for me, it's just whenever I see a helicopter, I stop and stare at them. Same thing with balloons. I stop and stare. They're amazing. Tell everybody how they can get a hold of tickets and what the hours will be. So we're open 5 to 9, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and tickets are available at acspooktacular.com. Yeah, very cool. Vanessa, have a great weekend.
