Found condenser not running, condenser fan motor wasn’t running, problem was the capacitor. Cut some trees out of the way, replaced cap, and washed coil. #hvac #hvaclife #fieldpiece #rheem
On this one, it is running inside, not outside.
I pulled this when I drove up.
I think before I get started,
I'm going to do this rental company a little favor
and clean these trees out before they become a problem.
Well, I need my impactor.
All right, let's see if we can see what's wrong.
Pull
it
in.
Fan's not running.
If I had to jerk any harder on that,
I would have broke it.
Fan wears.
I was doing
that a little
while ago.
I
thought
it
was a
little
bit
warm,
so
that's
90
nanofarads,
which
is not
enough.
Let's see if we can, I tell you what,
why don't we just pull that out.
Just hope it's not a three.
I'll have to go get a three.
It's
a
15
and
five.
Kind
of a
large
diameter.
I hope my replacement will fit in that hole.
Use
a
cleaner
to
check
pressures
real
quick.
22, it's a high head pressure.
Suction's high too, so we're going to wash that coil out.
I've had I've had a couple questions about what I'm using
to wash out these coils
it's just a regular spray nozzle with a
Bullseye on it and you think a nozzle on a nozzle don't make
a lot of sense, but it works really good
Coil still
drying off
and see where
this settles out.
I can't even look
at my pressures
without the
phone ringing
constantly
So this is where it settled out
224 head pressure and I'm not sure if you haven't seen it.
Let me get out the glare. 81 suction.
It's better than what it was doing.
I think we extended the life of this one just a little bit today.
