The Dodgers, World Series champs, you know,
a couple times over, they knew that to get
to the World Series, to be the champs,
they had to beat the best, and they did.
It a little reminds me of the Olympic
Hockey team when they beat Russia in the Olympics all those years ago.
We don't remember that was not the gold medal game.
It's kind of like the Brewers.
When we talk about this team for years to come,
when we talk about what happened with the Dodgers series.
Christian Yelich.
These are the names that are joining other Brewers legends now,
like Rollie Fingers, who we also caught up to earlier today.
1982 has been a long time ago.
How does it feel to be here and see this now?
Oh, this is unbelievable.
I wish we could have done this in 82,
but we still had a big crowd out here.
But this is unbelievable.
I think half of Wisconsin's here.
It's great.
How does it feel to be back in front of all of these kids?
You were in a parade in 82, even
though you didn't quite finish the job off.
You got a parade anyway.
But how does it feel to be here now after all these years?
I'll tell you what, after 44 years, this town certainly deserves it.
And they worked hard for 44 years.
They finally put together a great ball club and a great organization.
I loved playing here when I was playing here,
and I hope these fans keep this ball club here for a long time.
As a guy who knows how to throw a fastball,
What is it like watching Jacob Mizorowski pitch?
What's the pitch?
Tell you what, for a tall, thin guy, he gets it up there in a hurry.
I don't think I'd want to hit against him.
He's nasty.
All right, thank you.
Thank you.
So, Giovanni,
tell me about...
Tell me about, you had a moment where you
got Garrett Mitchell to sign your hat.
Yeah, yeah.
We were in the beginning when they first came through
and we were trying to follow them,
trying to get close to them.
We really couldn't.
You know, the crowd was pretty wild.
But we got to the end here and there was no barrier,
so I came up with my little brother.
I found the Sharpie on the ground and I begged and pleaded.
I said, Garrett Mitchell, can you please sign my hat?
And he threw it, I threw it up, he took it, signed it, and here we are.
What was that like for you to be so close and to meet a star player?
It was amazing. It was amazing to be there with my little brother.
He lives in Green Bay, so he came down to visit,
so it was just a wonderful moment.
Sharing this experience with your brother,
this World Series run, what does that mean to you?
It was just crazy. I grew up playing basketball,
so it just means it's different for the city, for everybody, you know?
