DNC Staffers Refuse To Return To The Office After Working From Home Since 2020?

James Kaufman, World News Report Today. DNC staffers have refused to return to the office after working from home since COVID. DNC staffers are outraged. They were told to return to working in the office by February of 2026. Ken Martin, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, the DNC, has told staffers that they need to come back to working in person in the office, and they're not happy about it. The order isn't even immediate. Martin wants people to come back to the workplace before February 2026 ends. So people have plenty of time to prepare for this change. The staff has been working from home since the COVID scare when the policy was put into place, but are now refusing to return to work at the office over five years later. They've been given a huge lead time and notice, but the DNC workers say that they do not plan on returning to work at the office, period. The rules are for thee, not for me. That should be their slogan. Complaints began immediately, according to the New York Times, for the DNC's union representative describing the move, which granted over 60 days' notice, as callous by the end of the day. The DNC's union may sue the DNC itself to try to stop the mandate. You've got to be kidding. The chairman, Ken Martin, addressed the complaints, telling staffers that if they didn't like his policy, they should begin seeking new employment. According to people familiar with the meeting, the DNC chair said the return-to-work policy had been a band-aid that was long overdue to be ripped off. Can you say typical of Democrats to take advantage of? Any situation possible, can anyone imagine that they're complaining about returning to work in 2026? They have to the end of February. The whole thing's a complete joke. If any other employer in the U.S. would have told you to come back to work, which all of them have by now, you would have either done it or you would have been fired, period, which is what the chairman Chairman says he's going to do.
