So today I will show you how to make devilry delicious chocolate fudge brownies with ghosts and zombies.
Hi guys, welcome to my channel Alice Yummy Food.
Halloween is approaching so I thought
I would share some awesome recipes with you today.
I'll show you how to make chocolate
fudge brownies and we're going to make zombies
and ghosts with marshmallows on top of them
and it's going to look so creepy
and going to be devilishly delicious. All the ingredients
will be listed below in my description box.
So the first thing we're going to do is prepare our baking tray.
I lined it with some foil paper
and you can use parchment paper as well. I left a bit of size here.
It's just so it's a lot easier to take it out
when the brownies are going to be baked. So we'll put that aside.
So the next thing we're doing is we're going
to boil some water and we're going to do a
simmering bath.
Now it's a slightly different method of doing brownies
but that's why they're fudge brownies.
So once it starts to kind of heat up,
we're going to put all our butter.
Chocolate and cocoa powder
and we're just gonna mix it
on very low heat, very slowly
until all the ingredients are melted and incorporated together.
You can see that it's starting
to become like quite gritty and it's melting slowly.
I'm using a piece of towel obviously to hold
the bowl otherwise it's a bit wonky so you
can do that if it's moving a lot about, just keep moving it.
This is what we're looking for at the end.
I've just turned the heat and I'm going to keep mixing it until all
the butter is melted because we don't want to burn it as well.
But you can see it's just nice and soft, a bit gritty.
It's all going to smooth out when we add the eggs.
So we let the mixture cool down for about five minutes
to make sure it's not hot enough for the eggs.
Otherwise, you're going to have scrambled eggs
in our chocolate brownie. We really don't want that.
Add about a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Just give it a really good mix and then we're going
to add one egg at a time and then we're going to add our flour.
This is the
finished result,
this is what we're
looking for, a nice
and glossy mixture
that falls off the
spoon quite easily.
Pour this yumminess
into our baking tray like that.
Now we just smooth the mixture over so it's equal everywhere
because we want the same squares of brownies.
Look at this beautiful chocolate mixture.
I just want to eat it now. Look at the whole
bowl. And now I'm going to put this in the oven
for 25 to 30 minutes. Now you can check
it with a toothpick. Make sure you don't overcook it or undercook it.
And if it comes out clean
then it's ready. And we'll cook it at 325 Fahrenheit or 160 degrees.
Okay so my brownies are completely finished.
I let them cool down for about 10 minutes
and I'm going to give you a really really good tip.
If you put them in the freezer for about 20
minutes then they become really really easy to cut
and it's very nice and smooth. You can see it here,
really nice. And how good do these look?
Very crusty top, very chewy gooey chocolatey middle.
Now let's make our ghosts! So to decorate
our ghost we're going to place a large marshmallow on top of
top of our brownie.
And I have melted in a microwave some vanilla frosting
and you can see it's very gooey so I'm just going to pour it
on top of the marshmallow and don't worry if it goes around,
that's the whole point, it's a ghost.
I'm not used to it.
And we're going to do that with each brownie
and just leave it aside to set.
I used green food colouring to make my icing green
and that's going to be for our zombies.
I'm going to let these set, it's going to take a couple of minutes
and while they're setting I'm going to do green zombies.
Okay, my chocolate fudge ghost brownies are set,
and now all we're going to do is draw
some eyes and mouth,
and here you can see it's a chocolate ganache, I've just melted
that in the microwave with a bit of double cream,
and we're going to draw some eyes and
mouth.
For zombies, I'm going to be using the same icing sugar,
but I've added a bit of red food
colouring
to make
it more
spooky.
Are we all done? How easy was this?
You can see how cute and creepy they look at the same time.
So if you've got loads of them on the plate, it just looks amazing.
Guys, I really, really hope you enjoyed this video.
It was so easy and so much fun filming it today.
