KILLER COP SENTENCE 16 YRS & 8 MONTHS RIP JESSE

An Auburn police officer was sentenced for the 2019 shooting death of a 26-year-old homeless man. “I can’t imagine what this has done to your soul,” the judge told Sarey's mother in the courtroom.

The judge sentenced Nelson to 200 months for second-degree murder and 123 months for first-degree assault -- nearly 27 years. But because the sentences will run concurrently, Nelson will serve 200 months - or 16.67 years.
