Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
It's Leonep.
If you are new, welcome.
And today I'm doing another trash to treasure
and I'm starting with this super cute little stool here.
Adding some casters to the bottom of the stool.
So I am going to add additional lumber
so that it is wide enough to be able
to put the casters underneath.
I am going to secure the lumber, the one by fours,
with some wood glue as well as some brad nails.
I will be painting the stool white
and I am using regular latex household paint.
I gave everything two coats except for the top.
I originally wanted to paint it
and maybe add a cute stencil,
but I changed my mind and I will be upholstering it
so I'm not adding that second coat on the top.
This fabric I had for a while.
I used it for when I upholstered a chair a while ago
and I had a little piece left over
so I used it for the stool
and this pillow stuffing that I got from an old pillow.
I am using my electric stapler,
but you could use a manual one.
And I'm just going to staple one, I'm sorry,
two sides, a longer side and a shorter side
so that when I start stuffing the pillow stuffing,
it won't, or it's easier to kind of keep it in there.
I am adding quite a bit.
I want it to be nice and cushiony.
So I'm just kind of sticking it in there
and just making sure it's nice and snug
and trimming some of the excess fabric
because I want it to, again, be snug when I pull
and be nice and smooth on the top.
Now onto the casters.
I'm using two different length screws
so that the longer ones screw all the way through the leg
and then shorter ones for the back holes.
And I'll be doing that on all four casters.
For my second project,
I am using these little flowers
that I found at the thrift store and this tiny wreath.
The wreath was 99 cents and the flowers were,
I want to say about $2, but there are so many in this bag.
I am going to remove these old greenery
and then going to start placing the flowers on it.
The goal I want for this wreath
is to have a farmhouse look to it.
And I am placing just these white little flowers
with a little bit of that greenery
that it already has in it.
And I'll place a twine or rope-like on the top
to be able to hang it.
For my third and final project,
I'm using this beautiful basket I found at the thrift store.
I don't know about you,
but I think it's absolutely beautiful.
I am not painting it.
I am leaving it as is.
I think that detail in the front,
that little design is stunning
and the wood tone is very farmhouse-ish.
I am just going to add a clear vase
and the rest of those tiny flowers.
I did decide to add a tiny little sign
that I found at Target Dollar Spot a long time ago
and also added these little pumpkins
because of the season that we're in.
I thought it would be super cute.
All right, so here's what that stool looked like before
and here's what it looks like now.
So cute, I love it.
It's gonna be perfect for when I use it
for painting furniture.
Normally when I'm painting furniture,
I have to sit on the floor or bend down
and I think if I can sit and roll around the furniture,
it would be a lot easier.
Here's what the wreath and the little flowers look like
and here's what it looks like all together.
How cute.
It is totally farmhouse, my style
and I love how simple and yet beautiful it is.
Here's what that basket looked like
and here's what it looks like
with some decorations inside of it.
I think it looks beautiful, so simple and very farmhouse.
I wanna thank you guys for watching.
