Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Today I'm going to be sharing what's new in my wardrobe. So if you are new to my channel, I like to do these videos to share everything that I've purchased recently, show you how I'm styling it, give you a mini review of each item. So I hope that you enjoy this video. You may recognize some of these from Instagram because I've already been wearing most of these items. So I hope that you guys enjoy. I hope that it's helpful. As always, I'll show you everything here and then I'll take you over to my mirror, show you how I style it, give you a little bit of review on the fit. So let's go ahead and begin. I've been in love with what J.Crew has released for spring. I just made an order last night because they were having 30% off plus an additional 10. So I got a few more things to add to my spring wardrobe, but this yellow, or let me put this down so you guys can just see the blouse. This yellow and white blouse, I love. I love the vintage style. It has kind of a longer sleeve, so you can leave these down, you can roll them up. I like the more boxy fit. I don't know, I just think it's really cute. I wore it tied around my waist the other day. I think it would look really pretty with a pop of red. You could wear it with blush, you could wear it with blue. I just think that this is a very classic staple for spring. Okay, so here is the yellow and white blouse. I wanted to give you guys an idea of what this bag looked like with an outfit, but I rolled one sleeve up and then left one sleeve down so you could see the length on me. So I prefer it rolled up. I just think it looks a little bit more structured, but you could definitely wear it like this too. And I just paired it with my white jeans, these shoes. I think that this is such a cute, versatile style blouse. I love how it has the one button exposed and then the rest of them are covered. It just looks really nice and clean. I would also pair it with this floral. So I would probably tie this either in my hair if I wore my hair up in a ponytail or on my bag. I think that that would be really cute. I wore this in a recent video and you guys seemed to really like it. This is a more casual style T-shirt with this eyelet detail on top. It's one of those really relaxed styles, so it fits oversized. You could tuck in the front if you wanted to or leave it untucked. And they have this in so many different colors. I believe that they said online that this is one of their best sellers because it's just very casual, very comfortable, but still really cute. I realize I've already shown this top to you guys, but I wanted to show you one more time so you get an idea of the fit. So it's a little bit oversized and here's what it looks like from the side. So this is a good shirt to wear when you just want something casual. You don't really care that much, a good weekend outfit to put on. It's a little different from my usual. I don't normally wear things this loose, but I think it's fun and I like the eyelet on top. I got a new pair of shoes from Vince Camuto. I wanted a style that I could wear day to night that were comfortable and easy to walk in. So I found these. They have this really pretty laser cut detail and a nice thick block heel. So these are easy to walk in, they're comfortable. The ankle strap doesn't rub in any weird ways. It's a very soft leather and I loved the color. I also got this bamboo bag from Vince Camuto. I love the tassel detail. I just thought that that was really cute, but you can take it on and off. So if you wanted to dress it up and wear it for an evening look, you could definitely take this off. And I think it came in different colors too, but I like the size of this one. A lot of times I'll see these bags and they're just too bulky or they're too small and I feel like this is a good medium in between. I see myself traveling a lot with this bag because it's an easy one to take day and night. And yeah, it's really cute. I saw this blouse on Nordstrom and immediately had to purchase it because I've been trying to find a casual blouse to wear this season. And I really liked the style of this one. The square neckline is very flattering. And I liked how it had a little bit of a cropped fit so you could wear it with a high-waisted skirt, with high-waisted denim. I wore it with jeans the other day. I'll try to insert a picture here for you guys so you can see it. And it's just a nice casual blouse, but you can wear it so many different ways. That's a good thing about an eyelet lace in the spring is it can be styled. You can dress it up, you can dress it down. And I will be wearing this a ton now. I will say, when I try it on for you guys, I'll show you how the buttons fit on my chest so that's something you might wanna keep in mind. But yeah, let's try it on. Here's what the blouse looks like on. So you can see how there is a little bit of gapping between the buttons, but it's not too tight. It doesn't feel like it's gonna pop off at any moment. It's just something that naturally occurs with these elasticated buttons like this. But it doesn't bother me. The sleeves, I love. I love how they have a little bit of a puff. They also have an elastic so they're not constantly falling down. And then the cuff has a double button. They're both covered buttons too. Yeah, it's just a nice casual spring top. If you watched my spring lookbook video, you probably saw this dress. This is a gorgeous maxi dress from Banana Republic. I fell in love with the color of this. It just matches everything in my wardrobe perfectly. And I love that you can dress this up. You can wear it with heels and a clutch, or you can wear it with a denim jacket, a pair of flats more casually. I wore it like that the other day. It's so comfortable. The fabric flows really beautifully. And I just think it's a really great dress for any events that you have coming up. I will say that the fabric does have the tendency to snag. So you might wanna be careful. It's a delicate fabric. But as long as you keep that in mind, if you don't wear any pokey jewelry or anything like that, you should be fine. So the good thing about this dress is that you can tie the top and it looks more formal, or you can leave it open if you're going for a more casual look. I kind of prefer it open like this if you have on a necklace that you wanna make more of a statement with. But I love the bottom layer of this skirt. It just has such a nice flow and sheen to the fabric. And I like the waistline. This is an elastic band, so it's really comfortable. It also has these ruffle sleeves. And I think that this one came in blue and pink. I picked up a few new things at Anthropologie when I was there the other day. I found these two headbands. I showed these on Instagram. I just thought that these were really cute. We're seeing a lot of headbands right now this season. And then I found this bucket bag. I am not the type of person to invest in a very trendy bag. So the bucket style bag, I feel like, has been around for a little while, but it's just not something that I'm interested in investing a lot of money in. This one was in a good price point for me. I loved the closure here. It's magnetic. It also has a crossbody strap if you wanna wear it crossbody or over your shoulder. And I just think it's really cute. I also picked up this silk scarf. I don't think it's 100% silk. I cut the tag, but I think before I checked and it wasn't 100%. But I loved the pattern on this. It's a beautiful rose floral. It goes perfectly with my wardrobe and the colors that I like to wear. It has a nice pop of like a yellow green too. I like that it's a diamond shape. So these are nice to wear as like a kerchief style. You can wear them around your neck. I like to tie these on my bag. A lot of you have requested for me to do a styling scarves video. If you've been following me for a while, you know one of my favorite brands is CC. I always go to CC on Nordstrom when I'm in need of something very feminine, elegant, but like a good basic. So something that you can wear with a skirt, blouses for work, things like that. And they reached out to me to send me a few items from their spring collection. I had already done shopping on my own for their spring collection, so I was absolutely thrilled. This one I love because it has this beautiful floral applique around the neckline. So it immediately dresses up your white tee. You could wear this under a blazer for work. You could also wear it with a skirt. You could wear it with jeans. It's very versatile. I believe this one comes in three colors, but I just chose white because I thought it was a great basic. Okay, so here's what the top looks like. I was kind of nervous that these were gonna be really fragile around the neck, but they're not fragile at all, so taking it on and off isn't a problem. It has a bit of a spandex in this fabric, so it stretches, which is nice because it makes it a little more comfortable. And I like this because it's versatile. So you could wear it with a skirt like I'm wearing. You could pair it with jeans. You could wear it under a blazer. It's one of those tops that's versatile that you could dress up or down. And then I also got this blouse, which is such a gorgeous clip-dot fabric. I love clip-dot fabrics because they have a nice flow, kind of airy feel to them. And I fell in love with this pattern. I had already purchased something from it myself. And so I wanted to get this top to wear with white jeans. So here's a better look at the top. I love the color of this. It goes with everything in my wardrobe. I just paired it with these white jeans. The sleeves are really nice and fun. They have that flutter. I don't know exactly, I think they're a flutter sleeve. And then here's what the fabric looks like up close. It's a very nice fabric. And you could wear this tucked in if you wanted to in the front, just to add a little more structure. Or you can wear it more like this, a more oversized fit. I think it would look really cute with this bag. So I wanted to show you guys what it looked like with the blazer on top. So I would wear this with my white blazer like I have now. You could also do navy with this. I think navy would look really nice. And then I know J.Crew has a color that, I think they're calling flax this season, and that would also look really nice. It's kind of like a khaki color. But yeah, this would be a really great option for work. Then you can take your blazer off and wear it at night if you're going out. I also picked out this floral denim jacket. I loved the spring take on this classic. I just think that this is such a beautiful way to dress up an outfit. You could wear it with dresses. You could wear it with jeans. And I love the colors incorporated in this and immediately matched everything in my wardrobe. So yeah, I was really happy with this one. Okay, so here is what the denim jacket looks like on. Now, what I love about this is that it's very fit throughout the sleeve. So you know how sometimes denim jackets feel too oversized and boxy? This one's fit really well. It hits me at a good place on my waist. I love that it's fit throughout the entire sleeve so it doesn't bulge at the shoulders or anything. And the pattern, the floral, the floral platter, the floral print is really pretty. I just think this is such a fun way to play with a different denim jacket pattern for a season. So you're not sticking with the same old basic denim jacket. You're playing with a print. And it's just a fun way to add color to your wardrobe. This one, you may recognize it from my spring lookbook. This is the gorgeous clip dot dress. I fell in love with the shape of this. I love the fit and flare skirt. It's very fitted throughout the waist, but then it flares out. So it's nice and flattering. It also has this pleating detail on the front. So it just kind of hides everything and just makes sure that there's no lumps and bumps showing. It's such an easy dress to wear. Now you can still wear it to church even though it does have a lower neckline. I feel like it doesn't show too much skin, but you could also pair it with a cardigan, with a white blazer. Okay, so here's this dress. If you saw my lookbook, like I said, you will remember this one, but here's how low it comes on me. So the neckline isn't too revealing, but if you weren't comfortable with it, you could definitely wear a cami underneath. I'll show you what it looks like with my blazer on. Okay, so here's what the dress looks like with the blazer. I just think it looks very polished. I love this blazer. I just think that a white blazer is such a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe. Okay, moving on to what I got from Chic Wish. They reached out to me to send me a few things and I wanted to share them with you guys. The first one is this. You may recognize this from my last lookbook video. I just loved the shape of this. I thought that it looked very classic, very elegant. I love the navy with light blue stripe and the floral detail, just nice. It's really nice for spring. You could wear this on Easter. You could dress it down with a t-shirt and flats if you wanted to. So here's the skirt on. I paired it with the same top that I wore in my lookbook, but this time I just kept on these Vince Camuto heels. Now, the one thing I will say is that if you are looking at everything that I'm sharing from Chic Wish, I think that this is the best for your money. I think the quality is best in this. The pleats lay really nicely. Now, it's still not the most quality of fabric. So you can kind of see that it has this brocade pattern that goes throughout. So it makes it look more expensive than it is. So out of all the pieces that I'm sharing from Chic Wish, I think this is your best value and it's also the most versatile. So you could wear this with a t-shirt. You can dress it up with a blouse and put on a blazer with it. So here's what it looks like with my white blazer. And I just think that it dresses it up. So it makes it appropriate for work. If you wanted to wear this to work, you could also pair it with a white cardigan. And then I wanted to get a few dresses to share with you guys if you have any occasions coming up. Now, I realize all of these are white, so they're not really gonna work for a wedding, but they could work for Easter or graduation, events like that. And Chic Wish has gorgeous, affordable styles and dresses. And I really loved the look of this one. I like the silhouette. I love the fuller skirt. So I think that this would be a good dupe for the needle and thread dress that I have too. It's a beautiful crochet overlay and has a really nice neckline and detail. Now, one thing I will say with a place like Chic Wish online is that the sizing is very inconsistent. So this is an extra small, but it's actually a little bit large. So it's too big in the waist here. And I don't know, it's just when you order from a place like that, you have to expect an inconsistency in their sizing. So always read reviews, watch videos like this if you need help. But yeah, I just think it's really pretty if you're looking for a white dress. And here's where it hits on me. Like I said, I'm five feet, so it goes a little bit past my knee. The next two that I got are also white dresses. I thought that these would be beautiful if you have graduation coming up or Easter. I loved the floral detail on this one. I just thought it was very, very elegant. Okay, so here's what this one looks like. I think that this would look beautiful with a pair of yellow sandals or pumps. I just think it would bring the yellow out in a really nice way. You could wear this to church for Easter because it doesn't show too much skin. I love that it has this extra fabric on the sides because it just makes it a little different. It has an uneven hemline. And from the side, it's really pretty. It's not see-through, you can't see anything through. It has a zipper going all the way up the back even though you can't really see it. But I just think this is a really sweet look if you're looking for a white dress and you want something a little bit different. This one I think is gorgeous too. It kind of reminded me a little bit of the needle and thread dress that I showed with the floral embroidery, but for a fraction of the price. Okay, so here's what the dress looks like on. Here's where it hits me, right above the knee. And I love that it has this scalloped edging. It's also on the sleeves and on the neckline. Now, what I will say is that it has this odd placement for a seam right here in the center, which I think is a little bit strange, but it is such a beautiful dress. You can almost look past that. Another thing too is that it is quite sheer. So you might need to wear a slip with this outside. You can't really see through it too bad, but for me, I just feel like I need a little bit extra coverage. Okay, so that is everything. I hope that you guys enjoyed this video.
