Tree Top Cat Rescue - Jobie 10 11 2017

received the Cat Signal while on an impromptu fishing outing. I relayed to the kitty's keeper that it would be best to wait for a couple of days to make sure that the kitty was ready for help and to prevent the likelihood of a "jumper" scenario. After making it home and having a follow-up conversation with Jobie's humans, I decided to give it a go with the kitty having been in the tree for only one day. Such a sweet family, and an equally sweet kitty.
The only thing that's going to make me fall is if the tree breaks because it's so skinny.
You think?
Yeah.
Well, I'm going to take your word for it.
I'm definitely going to try.
Joby's adventure.
You ready, buddy?
I mean Jobin.
His nickname is Jobin.
Yeah.
I like that name.
Okay, Joby.
I'm about to get up there, buddy.
It's okay, kitty.
I'm coming to help you, buddy.
Joby.
It's okay.
Take it easy.
Take it easy, Joby.
Oh, kitty.
Hey, kitty.
It's all right.
Let's just relax.
Let's relax for a minute.
I'm going to have to go a little bit higher, Joby.
I don't want to freak you out, buddy.
Okay.
Nah, he seems pretty happy to see me.
Look what I've got, buddy.
Oh, he's more interested in pets than treats.
He doesn't even want the treat.
He just wants to come down.
That's good.
Oh, kitty.
Hold on, buddy.
Let me get a picture of you.
Okay.
Here we go.
This is the worst part.
Oh, come on.
Come on, kitty.
Are you okay, buddy?
You okay, Joby?
Hold on, buddy.
He's a big cat.
All right.
He's in the bag.
Okay.
Somebody going to carry him inside?
Yeah, definitely get him some water, okay?
Let me get my hand out of there.
Thanks.
He was a really sweet boy.
