Absurd Fourth of July Fireworks! | Animal Kingdom & EPCOT

Good morning. We're so happy that you're here. We did vlog. So if you like this video, come on back tomorrow. I'm getting the vlog finished up. Got must-do Disney on. So we're having a little later start to the day. It is after nine o'clock. Both boys are still sleeping. Well Teddy was awake and now he's back to sleep. And we do have a park day today. It is the 4th of July so we're gonna go to Animal Kingdom first and then figure out what we're gonna do for fireworks. So I am almost done with the vlog. I didn't edit last night but it was so nice to just go to bed. Woke up a little earlier this morning. Not as early as I hoped but you just can't beat a morning in a Disney Resort. Violet. Oh the game. The game. Don't get to go on dinosaur. Daisy how'd you get to be so cute? So our main purpose of coming to Animal Kingdom today is to see Finding Nemo the Musical. I forget the new name. We'll find out the new name. But yeah that is back. So we're gonna see that today. We have a lightning lane for safari that we're gonna do first. And I also think we're prioritizing lunch. Lunch here for sure. What are we gonna do today? We have not seen a lot of this merchandise. Look at this sweatshirt. So cute. And then this is like button-down shirt. This Dooney and Berg bag. Oh my gosh. Another shirt. All of it is just so cute. Some kids clothes. And then this. It's a magic band. It's Dooney and limited edition. That is really nice. Sarah and I always make a comment about this but we've done it. We got animal crackers at Animal Kingdom which seems kind of counter-intuitive. I said that we always think that's kind of weird. We also got this fan. We're taking an AC break and we got this chocolate covered Rice Krispie. Popcorn. Yeah it is toasty today. It's not terrible. No. I have a little snack. Teddy's awake. What are we about to go do? Oh my gosh. Nemo the musical. Did we say we went to restaurantosaurus? We didn't but we had a snack there and we're doing Nemo which we haven't seen since 2019. And now they have some additions or changes. And I can't wait to see with my babies. Front row. And now here's the first change I've seen. Marine Life Institute. Here we go. Hello friends. The Marine Life Institute houses many aquatic species including fish from the wild who need our help. Like the group we found in the bay. Floating in plastic bags. And look how many visitors came to see us all. Who's this? He's got a little fin. Now we call it his lucky fin. It's time for school. Now go and get some knowledge. And go home when you're done. There's something that's so good. Oh wow. Wow. What'd you think? Just feels so good to be in here again. Yeah they cut my favorite song. They did cut our favorite song. The like refried. That's my death. But still really good. Everything else was just good for the stomach. And it was our favorite Marlin. Yeah. Our babies have started to rest. These kiddos are gonna play some games. Are you kidding me? So Jamesy had these native shoes and we lost one at Disney Springs the other night. So we're gonna replace them with these Crocs. And I love them. Oh my goodness. Kevin is... He's being unruly. We made it. Jamesy comes into the beach club, makes himself right at home. There was no warning that we were leaving Animal Kingdom because we had the funniest, but I mean it all worked out, like transition. Sleeping children on the bus. Strangers helped us. But we made it. We're gonna go to Epcot for, I mean we're gonna enjoy Epcot, but also for their special finale of fireworks tonight. So we're just hanging out in Solarium. But we made it. We were, it was like three of the five kids were asleep and Teddy was nursing. And we got a lot of stuff. But thankfully people assisted us. Look at them over there. What are you doing? It looked like you were... Someone's got his new Crocs on. You ready to go to World Showcase? Hit up Flower Garden for the last time. It's like 5 30 and we're taking a break. We took a bus to Beach Club so we can just easily walk into World Showcase. It's a hot one, but it's actually not, it's like that Florida hot where it's not bad when there's any in the shade. James woke up from his nap and I think he remembered yesterday seeing Ariel. So like he wanted to come outside. Oh that's nice. Yeah, be nice. Where do you want to go? Oh, you want me to see Ariel? Thank you. She's so nice. Okay, we have the whole room to ourselves now, the breezeway, and he needs to try out every chair. Oh, that's a good one. He does a pet test and if it passes the padding, he sits in it. Oh, so comfy. You see all that stuff? It's nice, right? Peter insists on being in total dad mode. Look at that fan. Look at his kid. When we first left Beach Club, I didn't realize in the first three minutes it was like this. Oh, it probably felt good. Oh, great for me. I looked down and he's like... Did you think we were nuts for not going to Epcot yet? Have you been shocked? We actually came in yesterday, but left right away. Very long story short, Christina got a bit woozy yesterday. If you felt like heat exhaustion or something like that. If you noticed like the vlog went a little like we were at Studios and then all of a sudden we were at Crescent Lake and then all of a sudden we were at Pop Century because we had a little moment, but we're here now. And everyone's feeling good. We had to go back to the resort and just chill. Yeah. Today we're here to Epcot It Up. Last day of the Flower and Garden Festival. On 4th of July, Rose and Cron, why are you so empty on 4th of July? What? I walked right up. Two black and tans, one for Cron, one for me. So we're here at Epcot. It's the last day of Flower and Garden Festival. We got some pound cake. Pound it. We're going to review it live. I yelled at Christina because she almost dove in and I was like whoa. I've been loving Delaware. It was a joke that I said at the beginning of the trip. We're going to Delaware. Come on, man. What do you think, Christina? It's good. The peaches are throwing me off. Oh, that's kind of weird. We're not in Georgia. For the viewers that saw the brook hearts and said, it's the brook hearts, it's the brook hearts, it's the brook hearts, oh my god, it's the brook hearts, it's the brook hearts, you should have said hi. I saw you though. I heard you though. Grant felt you. And Sarah got poutine. They're not both for her. One's for Grant. Grant's never had poutine. He discovered it at Disney Springs and we were like, who are you? Here's this. What is this? Gravy cheese curds french fries. Jamesy is a fan of the poutine. Oh gosh. Keep your, keep your filthy paws off Poppy. It's the sunniest day in all of Epcot. We're gonna get honey blossom. We're gonna get the flat bread and I don't know what else but it's a glorious day. Oh, Luca, are you following me or what? Look at this baby bunny in Epcot. A little flower garden festival. Oh my gosh. It's like no fear too. No, it's just waiting for me to drop some of my flatbread. It's my flatbread from Honey Blossom and a frozen drink. I don't know why they gave me that but who is that? That's my daughter. So good. What do you got? A shield? Wow. Luca got the shield and he thinks he's all that. Oh yeah. Say hi troll. Jamesy loves this guy. Every time. It's like visiting an old friend. I guess we could just stay here all day. Just people watching. Classic Epcot night. That's why Teddy was upset just now. We need a clean diaper now. Going around the world showcase. Jamesy is just thrilled to see anything and everything. Yeah, we're going into every country. We're just snacking around the world and I think we're gonna find our spot for fireworks Jamesy and I are strolling through China. We found a fountain. All right, we're in an Italy pavilion for Teddy's first like true true visit. Teddy, this is your paisan. Yes, this is your people Teddy. Some of your people. We did go into Germany, we just didn't show it I don't think. We were thinking about getting just like one more substantial little bite to eat to share amongst the family. Also, it's supposed to like drop into the 70s. This is like a music video right here. Put some hair. Give us some hairography. Oh, I don't know if it's not showing up. Wait, there it is. There's the moon and there's my hand. Toenail moon. All right, we just got the 15 minute mark for the special edition of harmonious with 4th of July. It is getting packed. These people came out of nowhere. Like it was really really empty like two hours ago, but it's filling in and it looks as if the American pavilion is completely and utterly shut down. I wonder if that means they're gonna do some crazy fireworks right there. So I don't know what I was hoping to grab some last minute food. Like real food, not like funnel cakes like right here, but real real food. Here we go, special harmonious. We're gonna be shooting off some fireworks in the American pavilion tonight. James, are you so excited? Oh, he's part of harmonious. I almost got the illuminations. We moved back to be by mommy and daddy because it's just we gotta be together. Dancing James. And that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That was absurd. That was not in the Christmas ones that one time. You can actually see the Magic Kingdom fireworks off in the distance there. You can see like this is going this is going off in Seven Seas Lagoon. That's going off behind Magic Kingdom. We have found ourselves on the boardwalk. Skyliner line was beyond what we expected. Yeah, right and we are hungry and so priority was finding food because our food court closes by the time we get back. You can't miss Jamesy now in those light up crocs. Oh nice. Walking around with James trying to get him to go to sleep. It's a wild evening in Disney World so we plan on taking the Skyliner but when we left that we the line was as longer than we've ever seen before and it was like 10 15 and I it's because like the fireworks were longer than we like sat around for a little bit waiting for crowds to clear out which maybe with hindsight if we would have like rushed to Skyliner that would have been better. So at 10 15 the line was super long so we're like well we're not going to make it back to Pop Century before 11 if we wait in the Skyliner line which that's when the food court closes so we're like okay well let's get food here at Crescent Lake and then we'll see if the Skyliner is still running to Pop Century after which it wasn't. It was running to Riviera because deluxe resort guests could stay into Epcot until 11 so then it was running just to Riviera not to Pop Century. Okay great lesson learned. So we had a choice to be there going back through Epcot to go to the bus in the front or we either thought of a minivan so we chose to be less walking and hopefully quicker for a minivan but minivans were hard to get tonight because I guess there's only a limited quantity depending on how many customers work which makes sense and I was super busy on property today with so many people here. It's the busiest like week I think it's the busiest week in the summer typically the 4th of July week which makes sense so it took a while to get a minivan. Once the minivan came like it was smooth sailing it was great. They had two car seats one for Teddy one for James. We hopped in took it to Pop Century and got home so we were all just kind of like pooped. It was a great day. It was a long day. I have to get up early to go to the office. I'm going to the office tomorrow. I'm gonna see some people from my team. Some people will be able to make it in some won't but really that my office is only really open Mondays and Tuesdays and select days for the rest of the week but like my team really goes in only on Mondays and Tuesdays so I was like hey Monday's a holiday it's closed Tuesday anybody who's going to be in the office just letting you know I'll be there that day too because I have to work so I figured let's go in the office on Mondays and see people now I'm just trying to get James to go to sleep and then it'll be another great day in central Florida. It's good to be home. We know what our goals are. We know what we hope to accomplish and believe me it's the most exciting and challenging assignment we've ever tackled at Walt Disney Productions.
