My name is Christina, I'm from Neumarkt on Wallersee and I'm one of the two course tutors.
I applied because I found the combination of sewing, which is a craft,
and the connection with online digital very exciting.
I like the work with the participants the best,
the interaction and, on the other hand, the development and further development of the course.
I was surprised by the many different models, or rather the many variants,
that the participants made out of the course sections, out of the units.
What I find special is the collaboration with my colleague,
that we always exchange ideas and that there are always a lot of tips for me,
which I can take into account when sewing.
On the other hand, it's always great to see what the participants have come up with.
I like sewing the units myself and I think it's great that the units are so well explained,
that you can follow them well and that, even if you don't have a lot of sewing experience,
you can immediately see a success and be able to sew units right away and then have a finished piece of clothing
that you can wear with a lot of joy.
It's always great when you've finished a piece of clothing and you can grab it in the closet
and take out a piece of clothing that you've sewn yourself.
Working in a family business is incredibly nice for me,
because there is a very nice atmosphere, mainly because of the family that moves around.
You always have a contact person.
I'm lucky that we were welcomed very warmly in the family and that's great to work with.
Something that definitely stands out about the course is the enthusiasm of the Vimmer family in the background,
who develop the course and always continue to shape it.
And I think that's one of the biggest features that you can see in the course,
that the tailor's craft is simply lived and done with heart and passion.
My self-sewn piece of clothing is the jacket with the bow from unit 14.
It's a bit different from what I had in mind, but I'm very happy about it and I'm looking forward to wearing it.
