That Happy Kind of Emotional Race! | 2024 Dopey Challenge Marathon

let's go run a marathon good morning it's 2: in the morning and it's dark and 63 and only going to get colder for the next 3 hours and then get hotter morning everybody it's Marathon morning finishing out the Dopey today race four of the weekend four of four race four of of the big adventure dopy Dumbo I got my myar got a bagel got my sunnies got my my gels got a little town all cuz my body cracks when I get it ready in the morning now and uh we're going to be running a good old Marathon today walking over to TTC to go get in line for the monreal to go meet up all my run Disney friends at the wonderful upcop parking lot all right all right all right they're actually still setting up the route over there but here we [Music] go here we are back at [Music] it [Music] all right the nerves are starting to kick up Corrals are open I'm going to go in I got a bottle of water I got my bagel I got my [Music] Martins I'm excited 324 caral SE let's go it is Walt Disney World Marathon day how you guys feeling out there all right DJ BR everybody keep it us moving and gring as we get closer the of the of thee of the free and the home of the W 3 2 1 go good morning Hy Dewey and Louie monreal above I know I think you might have missed it um good morning we are headed to cheer at our first spot me and the boys we're meeting up with ACS and we've been watching for a while you'll know that this is my absolute favorite spot to cheer it's the ticket and Transportation Center there's so much energy going into Magic Kingdom um you get to be really nice and close to the runners and it's just it's just the best so I'm excited the chair athletes as well as the like Elite Runners should be coming in really any minute first character of the day Mr Jacks [Music] power yes oh this Stitch but we're not doing this l n no still not doing [Music] it [Music] all my ears they've never done this we're going up the hill down there should be interesting but I like it because usually toast at this part but I feel good cuz it's the beginning dig [Applause] it so we have our very first Runners coming in and our your friend John should be coming any [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] minute guy's not falling today the first Andy Manny never seen that before all right magic in the parking lot see the boys and S up there at PTC is that him [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] top here's this crazy dip in Hill most fun part main stet USA on work all right our next stop is the Grand Floridian I realized we also saw our friend John he is so fast um and so we got a quick clip of him getting giving me and Teddy hugs it was so awesome it's been a great a great race so far Peter is crushing it [Music] [Music] W okay okay that's beus haven't been in Magic Camas all long most my family was with me look at these beautiful freaking Runners the best people in the world woo man if they were only running the people M but had a nice 10-minute break just for good old times right oh yeah this is new running through Tri ho and night time to this is [Music] beautiful [Music] Sun's almost up it's got a little drizzle going on The Vibes are vibing guys come on this is good I had some 15K right now did a jump shot let's see if I'm regret that l or not but hopefully I think it was worth it it was fun [Music] so this year was very easy peasy we just got to the Grand feran walked out right where that sign is and that will be on their left there's a lot of construction going on with the new Polynesian Tower so that's why we're here yeah yeah they're fast oh they're running oh man check out it's agentp the FL say Go Daddy go Daddy [Music] go all right we had some serious rain my phone was wet so I couldn't Vlog a mile 13 oh [Music] yeah [Music] it's a fish day guys fish is swimming I was going to see if this was open to get Peter a little treat but hopefully we're going to go back to Polynesian and then go to the finish line and hopefully there little shop is open yeah there's candy in there open they open soon as we were leaving Peter it started to rain so it worked out we were able to just pop inside but but um the walkway to pesan is not open because of construction so we have to take the manal all the way around here we go caution speed bumps ahead the third Park of the day caution speed bumps ahead yeah I'm okay someone smells tasty just taking a moment to enjoy The Vibes it's so beautiful so [Music] beautiful I can spare five minutes let's do this on break woo let's [Music] go [Applause] all righty the boys and I are back in the room we got a little breakfast flatbread some yogurt for them and sausage we don't have too much time I'll help you in a little bit um but we're going to eat and then get back out all right we're feeling good guys we're feeling real good takeing Our Moment taking a Beat Just left Animal Kingdom hit mile 17 I've clocked 18 I watch so goes to show what zigzagging can do during a marathon it's common um Goofy's coming up we had that rain which was a blessing and a curse you know feet are probably going to blister but kept me cool and it's overcast there's some rain south of us but I'm on Western Way which is notoriously where I like hit a really bad mental block you know the the storm before the mile 20 pain cave but um I feel really good guys I feel really good I think this is Marathon number 10 and it's been a fun day but we still have a lot of more work to do I say 17 miles so nine N9 miles left to work s's hanging out with the boys in our room having breakfast it's the best freaking life you know that guys and thank you for being a part of this journey so I'm going to show you goof and then we're going to get back to the running cuz 9 Mi is still tall feet so plenty of work to do ahead here we go goof himself looking Dapper yes all right mile 20 10K left my friend Carn is crushing I just saw her she's less than a mile behind me and she started like 177,000 people behind me in the crowds I'm so happy I hope she catch UPS I hope she laughs me I hope she dominates the rest of this Marathon she is so great I am not going to slow down I was going to do my thing but I really hope she catches up and I think she will if she keeps doing her thing and I keep doing mine all righty we are back in Action off to the Finish Line there we go there we go last big old Hill classic big big one look at these beautiful Runners down there I love it now do on down this hill we'll return to the studios which is just a big long roughly 3 m celebration taddy Jamesy it's barley check it out yeah barley it's the backside of Tower of Terror going into the third Park check it out my favorite spot of the entire Marathon 20 three and also one of my favorite spots fantas you guys are used to very emotional times at M 20 I got to tell you not emotional like you think cuz emotional can be sad excited happy and I can tell you today's been a great freaking day and my friend who's kicking but who catching up to you right now told me this morning you rock you're a rockstar 10 time marathoner and next marathon I'm going to have three babies in for me the fine so yes I'm very happy I'm very emotional this m 23 can't wait for Chie to be here to become best friends with Teddy and James and for all three of them be cheerwing me on at my next marathon so you guys know what it is it's time time to go for a quick [Music] 5K we're going to play in this gry area again Teddy's B and we are making a fire thank you until Daddy gets [Music] here all right check it out we got Bruno marel about to hit the boardwalk home home turf Advantage last little breather before I run all the way to the other side beautiful day man all right mile 24 let's go we are back in up time to close look who caught up to me MVP of the entire Marathon starts 30 minutes behind me crushes didn't catches up to me I don't know what's going on this is the best person in the world today and going I'm so happy I am so proud I can't even handle it she's she La me after she starts running I'm letting her go you are the best I love you little train action for my boys what arguably their favorite thing about little [Music] all right we just left up CL I'm R little backside of future world go to the fin [Music] l [Music] let's go find my voice there it is in [Music] [Applause] thek you this is the one perfect [Applause] amazing was it a fun r here we go we got a 5k 10K half full Goofy and dopy six of 11 medals I get the rest a couple [Applause] [Music] [Applause] those that's amazing Daddy got all of those for us huh I've seen spaceship earth in so many ways the past 4 days hang on to this Christmas no matter what it's beautiful oh my I so we are leaving finally we keep seeing lovely friends of ours trying to leave yeah we're going to go back to the resort and clean ourselves up go see Eve and then celebrate tonight at Epcot 2,000 years later now we are back out and about we're back up with the air Hearts har and Mark all of our children's we're going to Regal Eagle for dinner before we enjoy our last night at poia we already had ice cream today we're going to get [Music] [Music] dinner [Music] [Music] back in our room dopy number [Music] five is officially over we're just relaxing with the kids back at the Polynesian we check out tomorrow yes we have to like do a bunch of errands and I have to work for like 3 hours um tomorrow before we are then officially like ready to go for California on Tuesday cuz we're going to Disneyland cuz the Run Disney events continue even though my body is a hurting but it was a really really great Dopey really great day I'm really proud of all my friends that ran I'm so honored by Sarah and the boys and all my friends that came on spectated and supported me and you guys too it's a good time it's good to be home we know what our goals are we know what we hope to accomplish and believe me it's the most exciting and challenging assignment we've ever tackled at Walt Disney Productions [Applause] [Music]
