Financial Freedom all right have you
been wondering about the bricks refusing
the Mighty Dollar and the looming
Shadows of student loan payments curious

music with the whole credit card
delinquency deal you heard what's going
on with Macy's right well brace
yourselves guys because I'm gonna go

inflation living expenses cost of living
and how all of this is spiraling into
the perfect storm and hey don't forget
to hit the like button for the video and
hit that notification Bell so you don't
miss out on future videos alright and
comment down below what are you guys
doing to prepare yourselves financially
especially for the days ahead remember
guys we're in this together so let's go
ahead and dive in all right so U.S food
shortages and record high delinquencies
on credit cards have you guys heard
about this so Ohio residents are saying
that their potatoes are stuck in the
middle of muddy and icy fields
Cisco the national distributor of food
they're issuing food shortage alerts
this is serious guys all sorts of
shortages in the medical field and of
course U.S credit card defaults reaching
a record high now these are just some of
the things that I've been hearing about
let me know if you guys can confirm on
any of these things or if you have any
updates from where you happen to live
now what I have been able to confirm
though is that there are definitely a
lot of signs of an economic slowdown
that's coming here check this out but
but in general though there are a lot of
pressures in the US economy we don't
know at this stage whether the
government's going to shut down this
weekend we know the resumption student
loan payments are going to hurt
consumers we're looking at the highest
30-year fixed rate mortgage rates since
the year 2000 slowing down the housing
market and make it more difficult for
consumers so we can see a Slowdown
coming there are a lot of signs that the
economy is going to grow more slowly and
and the real question is you know can
interest rates begin to come down to
reflect that or are we going to have
more of a hard Landing um because
interest rates were just too high in the
selling economy I tell you guys the one
percent listen to economy GDP news and
the average Joe they will listen to the
agricultural news more and more now I
think that's really more relevant to our
lives on a daily basis so it's really
good to have a reliable source of
information and this is why we have this
channel our Financial Freedom fam right
here on YouTube so make sure you do not
forget to subscribe to the channel and
make sure your notification Bell is
turned on so you know the first place
that's always the first to feel the food
shortages food pantries and right now a
lot of food pantries are experiencing
their worst ever food shortage due to
the economy inflation and of course the
high cost of food there's been a decline
in food for the food bank from the USDA
over the past year now according to this
for the past two months they've been
getting more food which is perfect
timing because they're also seeing an
increase in the number of neighbors who
are in need of food so it kind of just
breaks even or at least you know close
to break even as they're used to now the
community Pantry used to be stocked with
tons of food but for more than six
months there's not enough food for
everybody to get what they needed they
started growing their own vegetables and
also helping community members grow
their own garden by providing seeds and
starter plants now they're also asking
people to help out like get into your
pantry look at the macaroni and cheese
or that thing of spaghetti that you
haven't eaten in like two years and
you're probably never going to eat put
that in a box and bring that over to
them things are getting tough out there
folks and I'm worried that the U.S
situation may actually get a little bit
worse so I was at Dollar General last
night to buy a few items and I went to
check out and my bank card got declined
no idea why because you know there was
plenty of money in the bank account I do
have a second account so I ended up
using that one to pay for the items so I
got home to check why and I found out
that my purchase of snack items was
flagged as fraudulent and locked up my
account what the heck so thankfully I
have the backup bank account and I do
always carry cash but just imagine if I
I didn't imagine if I didn't have cash
imagine if I didn't have a backup bank
account imagine if I truly needed those
items and I was on a road trip or
something like that my son had a similar
experience this week as well so
definitely keep that in mind guys always
have a backup matter of fact have a
backup for your backup so Us credit card
debt recently hit a record one trillion
dollars and research shows that 42
percent of college students are a large
part of that number Financial experts
say that we're seeing more and more
people struggle with their finances and
they're using credit cards for basic
living expenses college students across
the United States they're saying that
they're struggling to keep up with their
credit card payments in fact more than
four in ten college students they're
saying that they're trying to pay off
some type of credit card debt experts
say it's because their balances have
largely increased especially since the
aprs for people who don't have a credit
history they tend to be higher and
college students fit right into that
category but it's not just college
students that are in a bind with debt in
the United States credit card and car
loan defaults are also recently hitting
a 10-year AI inflation squeezed
Americans are defaulting on their credit
cards and auto loans at levels not seen
since the financial crisis back in 2008
and those bills are going to be even
harder to pay off with interest rates
that are possibly rising in the next fed
meeting not to mention the moratorium on
student loans that are expiring you got
low and middle income earners they have
been especially hit hard by Soaring
prices on pretty much everything from
rent groceries and new and used cars and
so this year credit card delinquencies
have hit 3.8 percent meanwhile 3.6
percent have defaulted on their car
loans both figures are the highest in
more than 10 years guys people are
having to make some tough decisions out
there whether it's to pay their credit
card bills their rent or even buy
groceries and people are even opening
new lines of credit there are 70 million
new credit card accounts open now then
before the pandemic in 2019 and credit
card debt surpassed one trillion dollars
for the first time time ever this year
according to the New York Federal
Reserve and yeah you know even the
experts are saying that they've sped way
past normal and these growing
delinquencies are very concerning for
them too and this is even before student
loan payments kick in not to mention you
got the holiday season which is upon us
industry experts are concerned that
consumers will rack up even more debt on
top of their Rising energy bills
particularly as the cold weather kicks
in and the cost of heating homes rashes
up you know what I'm saying you know
those gas bills are always way higher in
the colder months then we got retailers
like Macy's Kohl's and Nordstrom they
have also called out Rising delinquency
rates among their customers who have
private labels store credit cards Macy's
acknowledged that its store credit card
delinquency rates were Rising faster
than expected other retailers like
Footlocker have blamed disappointing
Financial results on consumer softness
and about those student loan payments
estimates say they're about to drain
about eight billion dollars a month from
customers and spending will start
Contracting early next year year now if
all 27 million borrowers in forbearance
start paying back their student loans
again Fitch estimated that would amount
to 5.5 billion dollars to 8.2 billion
dollars monthly reducing real
consumption growth by anywhere between 7
to 10 basis points and so that means
real consumer spending will contract by
about 0.8 percent in the first quarter
of 2024 and by three percent in the
second quarter this is going to be
reversing from the estimated growth of
three percent and 1.2 percent in the
third and fourth quarters in 2023. big
problems guys so as you know the loans
were put on pause for the past three
years the Biden Administration has
offered a repayment plan that will give
some Americans zero dollar payments but
Fitch predicted that the student loan
delinquency rates would probably climb
toward pre-pandemic levels very quickly
come October oh yeah October is going to
be a big busy month the resumption of
student loan payments also comes at a
time when eighty percent of excess
savings accumulated during and the
pandemic have been expended meanwhile
other forms of debt are piling up brics
Nations have also said that they're not
going to be continuing to accept the U.S
dollar I mean I can't really blame them
for that so how is the U.S going to pay
for the oil Pharmaceuticals and other
necessities from China India Saudi
Arabia and all the other brics countries
if they're going to be like sucking all
their money out of the U.S economy on
top of all this or is everything just
going to stop coming in you don't really
hear anybody in the government ever
mention this President Biden was worried
about manufacturing ships here but not
medication and he continues to shut down
domestic oil production now speaking of
amoxicillin is facing a record shortage
heading into the 2023 flu season the
amoxicillin shortage here in the United
States it has been in effect for nearly
a year now as the most commonly
prescribed antibiotic for children
amoxicillin is often used to treat
bacterial infections including pneumonia
bronchitis and of course infections of
sinuses ear throat skin and urinary
tract but in a recent study published in
the journal Pediatrics a group of
Physicians from Boston Children's
Hospital determined that since the
shortage began the odds of a child being
prescribed amoxicillin for ear
infections has plummeted by 91 percent I
mean you can't really prescribe what
your patient Can't Get Right now the
problem is much of the amoxicillin
Supply is made overseas specifically a
vast majority of the active
pharmaceutical ingredients used to make
amoxicillin comes from China and India
two countries that are major parts of
the brics alliance by the way
coincidence well I'm gonna let you guys
answer that another related shortage is
the lack of health care workers that
we've been facing and experts fear it's
only going to get worse as the Aging
populations need for Health Care grows
retirement and burnout are both driving
a lot of health care workers out of the
field so we've basically got yet another
U.S crisis that shows no sign of
stopping and this covers a whole wide
range of jobs the Bureau of Labor
Statistics projects that the country
will face a shortage of 195 400 nurses
by year 2031 and that the number of
openings for home health aides and
personal health aids will increase 37
percent by 2028 but shortage couldn't be
felt more than among Physicians the
country is expected to suffer a shortage
of up to 124 000 physicians in the next
12 years and that was 2019 before we got
hit by the c-19 pandemic which by the
way I can assume probably burned through
a lot of doctors and health care workers
on its own and according to the American
Medical Association when people don't
have access to routine primary care and
preventative Services they live sicker
and they die younger honestly makes
sense though right plus with America's
aging population demand for Physicians
is just growing faster and faster in
fact faster than Supply can handle in
other words the pool of people who need
care is expanding more quickly than the
ranks of doctors who can actually treat
them see there are about 55.8 million
people age 65 years old and older here
in the United States by 2034 they're
predicting there will be 77 million the
number of licensed physicians in the
country is also Rising by almost 20
percent over the past decade but that
Workforce is also getting older in fact
almost half of the working physicians in
the United States are 55 years old and
older and 35 percent of the physician
Workforce will reach retirement age
within the next five years so yeah a lot
of shortages right now guys and it looks
like there's going to be even more on
the horizon it definitely pays to stay
updated on the latest news so you guys
you and your family can prepare and stay
safe appreciate you guys y'all be well
out there
