Adam HAGARA (SVK) | Men Free Skating | ISU World Championships | Boston 2025 | #FigureSkating

First to go in this second group, flying in 18th place, it's the 18 year old from and there's another one, it was as good as the first, combination with no hesitation whatsoever, didn't put a foot wrong, four minutes of excellence from the young man from Slovakia, Adam Hagara, very very well done, no quad of course but two top notch triple axels right from the off at the beginning of the program and just looking down, there's only a couple of elements that are going to be reviewed, I've got to say that I thought the triple lutz that he did with the two double axels on the end looked to me as though that the edge went a little bit going in and it's not going to be reviewed. I'm so impressed with Adam, only 18 years old, we know that he's had a lot of success at the junior level but it is a big step to step up to senior and this really is an intimidating environment if you let it be and he really just didn't seem to let it faze him at all, he had such solid elements in this program, let's take a look, here is the triple axel double toe at the top of the program, it's really nice and straight in the air, beautiful landing position and this his triple flip, triple toe, entry to his second triple flip in the second half of the program and he's getting all of these elements done with a positive grade of execution, he doesn't have one minus on the board and he'll continue to work on the second side, he already puts care and attention into his second mark and because of that it will continue to progress through his career and his skating as well, certainly will, so 153.04 is his best score this evening, he's got a new season's best, that's fabulous stuff, he was always going into the lead with that performance but to beat your personal best score instantly, his previous PB was in the world junior championships this year where he finished in third place.
