Andreas NORDEBACK (SWE) | Men Short Program | ISU World Championships | Boston 2025 | #FigureSkating

Well looking forward to this is a young man that's competing at the World Championships for the third time was 23rd last year But did really well in the Europeans where he finished in 11th place so close to getting into the top 10 The music is personal Jesus and it's skating from Andreas Norderback Really cool Yeah, it didn't hang about going into that triple axel Lucky over stretch going into the loops good recovery though There's the flip He's so cool. He really is. It's a brave choice of music, isn't it a bit of Depeche Mode? But you can't beat it in an arena like this that's packed to the gunnels It really did work and he kept his composure. He hit just about every beat Fabulous stuff Andreas Norderback, he'll be thrilled with that I think That should do it for him, you know Everything crossed love to see him in the free He's fully committed to every aspect of that performance and it really was a performance He had some great technical elements within this performance But from the beginning to the end in all of the transitions, he was committed to the character that he was given and David Wilson did this program. I thought it was innovative and cool. It had different Elements to it had things I had never seen before. I really loved it Again it's a an inspiration isn't it choosing a bit of music that really suits the style of skating of the athlete It's everything and sometimes it's something you wouldn't expect this choreography at the beginning was just so different Here's a triple axel Nicely done It's getting a slight positive in the grade of execution here where some troubles were for him though triple that's little off axis Out of control has to do a three turn He cannot put his free foot down and transfer weight on to it since he didn't do that he still gets credit for the combination just with a reduction in Joey and Here's the triple flip solo jump very well done He has all level fours on his sheet I Want to give a shout out to the sit spin. I thought that was fantastic Really really good I loved it yeah, we're fans and Just to put it you in the picture 7489 is our lowest qualifying score So we've got two qualifiers at the moment. I wait die and Thomas Loring Garino Sabat a Confirmed as qualifying for the free. So anything over 7489 would do it. I'm sure he's gonna do that seventy five point zero three or more would give him the lead Yes 79.03 we do have a new leader now Andreas leading that way in second Thomas like in third And they are our three qualifiers at the moment
