Metabolic meltdown, so good.
This is balance sculpto.
You ready for it?
So if you've never done this class before, it is a mashup of barre, pilates, yoga, sometimes we do yoga moves, and strength work.
So, we are going to get it.
It's only 45 minutes long, including the stretch.
Quick class.
Let's see if I can pull up.
There it is.
Alright.
Welcome, welcome.
Good morning.
Alright, just in case this class gets, for whatever reason, shut down by Facebook.
Sometimes that happens.
Good morning, Nazi.
I love it.
Here is the YouTube link in the comments section of Facebook, so that you guys can access it.
Hello, everyone.
Let's get started.
Get this thing done, right?
This is a shoes optional class.
Feel free to use them or lose them.
Let's go.
March it.
Toes pointed into the floor.
I know this is your favorite, Nazi, right?
Yes.
Good.
We are going to involve those arms.
Palms face forward.
Pull it.
Good.
Palms down, elbows back.
Nazi, this class, I don't think you ever came when we were at the gym because it's always so late.
I taught it at like 10.30.
Arms overhead now.
We were already out of the gym by then.
Three, two, one.
X and Y.
Reach.
I could be wrong.
Maybe you didn't come.
Although I would probably remember you from the center.
Good.
Keep it nice and wide.
Side to side.
Yeah.
Sit here.
Step that other foot.
Swap it out.
Good.
Get down.
Flip.
Three, two, one.
Match those feet.
We're going to hang out here for a second.
Wrap each elbow and sweep.
This should feel really good on your low back, upper back.
Arms go in all circles.
Other way.
Good job, you guys.
Get a slow little rowing up.
Let's get those arms just a little bit more.
Aww.
Hit and flip.
And pop.
P90X.
When I taught it, right?
You can't?
Good.
The only thing I really don't teach, I mean I've even taught all four.
Thumbs down, thumbs up.
It's true yoga.
I'm not yoga certified.
Yoga moves, yoga moves I'll throw in.
But I am not yoga certified.
Good.
Excellent.
And arms up over the head.
Circles.
Weird one, I know.
Nice job, you guys.
Okay, so what you're going to need today.
Lightweights, a mat, and a squishy ball.
If you haven't invested in one of these yet, it's probably time you get one.
They're great.
I promise you, you're going to enjoy them.
If you don't have one of these, get a feather pillow.
A pillow that has some gift to it will suffice, okay?
Alright.
Grab those lightweights.
We're ready to get started.
Let me grab a sip of water real quick.
By lightweights, I mean no more than five.
Yes.
Okay.
We're going to bring those arms right out in front, okay?
If you need to, drop the weights.
Go for it.
We're going to do a nice quad plie.
Relevant, straight, and down.
Plie.
Relevant.
Just getting those legs just a tad bit warmer.
Bar.
Move out the gate.
Balance.
If you don't want to relevate, that's okay.
Just plie.
Right here.
I get it.
If someone has had multiple surgeries on their foot, I get it.
Woo.
If you need to, bring the weights closer.
Just a few more.
Three, two.
Excellent.
Okay.
Holding it down nice and low.
Lift the heels.
And pulse it.
Yeah, I know.
I know.
You can keep those heels down if you need to.
Weights can come a little closer.
Good.
Drop the heels, lift one at a time.
You ready?
Roll the heels up.
It's coming.
Let's go.
Up.
Woo.
Three, two, one.
Now, slight pain.
I know it's weird.
If it bothers you, you can turn your foot forward.
Otherwise, go in front of the toes.
Pulse it.
Inner thigh work right here.
I know you're already strapped some of that.
Come on.
Get it.
Feel it.
Quad and inner thigh are just burning right now.
Three.
Two.
Same thing.
Let's go.
Woo.
Excellent.
Yeah.
Feel it.
Get that burn.
So this class is about muscular endurance, creating long lean muscles.
It's a part of the weekly class line-up that I have because I think that it's important
to change it up and not do the same thing every time your body will plateau.
If you do.
Three.
Two.
One.
Especially after eight weeks.
Woo.
Okay.
Now that your legs are nice and warm, I want you to grab the ball in one hand and keep
the weight in the other.
All right.
So we're going to work on these backwards.
The inner arm.
We don't want it to get flabby, right?
Still with that beautiful, nice wider than hip width apart squat.
Okay.
We're going to be pressing into that side.
If you do it right, you're going to feel all that engagement in that arm, bottom, and top.
Okay.
As you come down, squeezing front base.
Excellent.
Bend that arm.
Keep it nice and 90.
Close to the body.
Get nice and low.
Okay.
We're going to do a nice pulse as we come up.
Press into that ball.
Up.
You want to lift that opposite arm, weighted arm.
Do it.
Two.
And one.
Oh my gosh.
You ready?
Let's get that other side.
Same thing.
Press it in.
Hips wider than hip width, or sorry, feet wider than hip width.
Let's do it.
If it bothers you to lift that weighted quad up, do it at the top.
Works for me.
Keep going.
Good job, you guys.
Every time I see a red dot, it makes me think of my baby.
What's that?
I get worried.
It's usually a good thing, but not in my case.
Keep going.
Good morning, Lisa.
Good.
You ready?
I also feel like these music companies go in waves, where they just block everything.
They mute everything.
Because I get these release claims, like release from the claims that they've made too, later.
They just come in, and even if it's not their music, they block it.
It's crazy.
Three.
Two.
One.
But what can you do, right?
Okay.
Cross the body.
Slightly different move.
Okay.
Other arm is kicking back.
Okay.
We have one, two, three.
Press and kick back.
Lunge, press.
Okay, I'm going to turn to you.
Steady.
Opposite leg to where the work is happening in the upper body.
It's back, down, up.
Squeezing everything.
Set and go.
Good job, you guys.
Keep going.
Ouchie.
Good.
All right, guys.
Get nice and low.
Lean forward into that front leg.
We're going to pulse it.
Straight arm.
Lift.
Come on.
Three.
Switching sides.
Same thing.
Other side.
Cross that body.
We got to kick back.
Yes?
Same leg, or sorry, opposite leg to that working side.
Ready?
Back behind you.
Let's go.
Back.
Down.
Up.
Don't forget to squeeze on that shoulder with the ball or pillow.
You ready?
Get nice and low.
Hold that arm straight.
Let's go.
Up.
Three.
Two.
Okay.
This is a new one.
I've never done this one before.
Nice and wide stance just like we started.
Okay?
We're pressing in.
One side has the weight.
Other side has the ball.
Okay?
Okay.
Little press in.
And press as you drop.
If it feels better to you, press the top a little bit.
Do it.
Ready?
Let's do it.
Come on.
Good.
Three.
Two.
One.
Switch sides.
Same thing.
Good job, you guys.
Three.
Two.
One.
Excellent.
Keep it nice and wide, but point your toes forward.
Okay?
We're going to sweep and knee.
Sweep and knee.
Good.
Yes.
Just keeping the ball and the weight exactly as you have them in one hand and pressing in.
Ready?
Let's go.
Lean in.
Sweep and knee.
You ready for some pulsing?
Right here.
Pulse.
Three.
Two.
One.
Cardio without being cardio.
Switch the weight and the ball.
Switch hands.
Same thing.
Okay?
Circling knee.
You're going to circle toward the leg that you're stepping out with.
There it is.
Sometimes my one side doesn't, I call it dumb, basically.
As you go to that direction, lean in, bend that leg, and then drive the other.
Three.
Two.
One.
Double time.
Let's go.
Woo!
Three.
Two.
One.
Good job, you guys.
Okay.
Weight in one side, ball still in the other.
Okay?
You're bringing it right in front, opposite, right at the hip.
Okay?
This arm right here, we're going to curl, rest.
That's the move.
Yes?
Okay.
Back behind.
Press, curl, press.
You can double press.
Okay?
Ready?
Let's go.
As long as there's resistance.
I'm feeling this.
I don't know about you guys.
My arms are dying.
I think they were dead before I even started.
From the first outfit this week.
Thank goodness there's no weight tomorrow.
Triple threat.
I don't know if you've tried it yet.
Light wind cardio.
Low impact cardio.
And the body weight is strengthening the core.
It's good.
Alright.
Hold it nice and low.
Okay?
Hold it here.
90 degrees, tight to the body.
Little presses up.
Press, press, press.
In and up.
Come on.
Are you squeezing that bow?
Three.
Two.
And one.
Oh my gosh.
Ready?
Ouch, it is right.
Okay.
Let's do the other side.
Okay.
Legs back behind.
Arm is nice and 90.
We have a curl and press.
Okay.
Here we go.
Down and...
Remember you can press several times.
Okay.
Good job, you guys.
Come on.
Ready for that pulse?
I don't know why.
Alright.
Nice and low.
90 degrees.
Ready?
Let's go.
Up.
Good.
Three.
Two.
Good job, you guys.
Okay.
Still keeping the one weight.
Ball is in between the legs.
Get those feet as close as you can to the top of your leg.
Okay?
Weight is right here, out in front.
I'm going to ease.
Okay?
Right here.
Hold it here.
Stir.
Good job.
Okay, we're taking our arms out of the mix, but we're holding them back.
So I'm looking for the weight right back here.
Resting on your bum.
Pinch at the hips.
Okay?
Right here.
Squeeze.
Nice and slow.
Nice and neutral.
Squeeze.
Place that ball on your actual knee joint.
Right above works.
Good.
Okay.
Lift those arms up.
Upper arms up.
Press tight to the body.
You guys are in position.
We're going to double time this.
Pulse.
Ready?
Pulse.
In.
Just pull that weight up.
Keep your back nice and flat.
Oh my gosh.
Good job.
Excellent.
Three.
Two.
Don't drop that weight.
One.
Keep that.
Squeeze.
Okay?
Bring the weight to one side.
Down.
Opposite.
Heel comes up.
We're down and up right here.
Ready?
Let's go.
Down.
Good.
Using this side to work a little extra.
Especially with the weight.
Even just holding it here, you're feeling that burn.
Ready?
Three.
Two.
Let's go.
Keep that squeeze.
Squeeze.
Hips came around in the back.
Shoulders go down.
Lift.
All right.
Three.
Two.
One.
I'm finding a wall for sure this time.
Because right here, you know why?
Squeeze.
Try and squeeze that wall.
Squeeze your bum.
Squeeze it in.
We're back.
You need to keep hanging on to that wall.
Keep that squeeze.
Up and in.
Your standing glute should be dying.
Legs on fire.
That's right, Nasi.
Good job.
Three.
Two.
And one.
We're done.
All right.
We got the other side to do.
Okay.
Straight up donkey kick.
Hinging at the hips.
Relaxing the foot.
Let's go.
Soft bend in the standing leg.
Lift that knee up.
Good.
Knee and flip.
Good job.
Good.
Now we're going to find a wall.
In three.
Two.
One.
Good job.
A little squeeze in.
Squeeze.
Good job, you guys.
Okay.
We're going to hit that mat.
Keep the ball with you.
Yeah.
How you guys doing?
Wow.
Hello, legs.
Yes.
After what we did earlier this week.
Okay.
Ball between the ankles.
You get to lay down.
Thank goodness, right?
All right.
Straight here.
Okay.
Little squeezes.
If you need to, you can bend the knee.
Even just this move right here.
You can feel activation in that whole area down low.
Good.
Always do, right?
Good.
Squeeze.
And scoop.
Squeeze.
And scoop.
Now, if you go back, you can squeeze here.
Make it tiny.
I need that low back on the mat.
Nice and pressed in.
Press.
And scoop.
Press.
And scoop.
Yeah.
Hold it.
Just a little hold with the upper body.
And squeeze in again.
Good.
Adding on.
One more time.
Squeeze it while you're slowly lowering.
And back up again.
Now, again, little low back on the mat.
Little squeezes as you go down and up.
From myself.
Back.
Three.
Two.
And release.
Thank goodness, right?
Okay.
Like I said in the beginning, you should invest in one of these poles.
They're really cheap.
Amazon.
Doesn't have to be big.
Small to medium is just fine.
But it creates that variability.
You can see my foot moving like crazy.
You wouldn't get that as much with a pillow, but a pillow works.
Alright.
Your foot on the ball.
Other leg.
Extend it out.
Opposite hand underneath the head.
Right here.
Reach.
Pressing down into that ball.
If you need to, bend that leg.
Let's extend it.
Good.
Cross.
And front.
Cross.
And front.
A few more.
Three.
Two.
Last one.
Oh my gosh.
Thank goodness.
Ready?
Two sides.
Let's go, guys.
So, ball under the foot.
Extend it.
Opposite arm to that extended leg.
Supporting the head and neck.
Right here.
Let's go.
Press into that ball.
This side you should be feeling right away because of the work we did on the other side.
Oh good lord, have mercy.
Good job.
Oh my goodness.
Take it across and forward.
Cross.
Forward.
Cross.
Last three.
Three.
Two.
One.
That was crazy.
Good job, you guys.
We're going to flip over.
Both hands.
We're going to be down on our elbows.
Okay.
It's this.
A and L.
Knees or toes.
Your body should be nice, your core should be nice and activated.
Good lord, have mercy like I mentioned earlier.
Good.
Either on your toes, wide stance.
Press it, roll it.
Press it out and roll.
Not so much with the pillow, but you can still have a nice press down.
You're still going to feel it.
You've got the ball, roll it.
In and out.
Good.
Three.
Two.
One.
Switching sides.
Same thing, other side.
Come on, full stretch, guys.
Ready?
Let's go.
Facing the floor.
Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze.
Good.
Alright, now.
Last and final move.
Take the ball out right here or pillow.
Switch.
Fold the legs out.
Good.
Awesome.
Switch the direction.
Three.
One.
Toss that ball.
Right?
Sit back, shoulders forward.
Oh my goodness.
So, so good.
Hey, alright.
Thread one arm under the other.
Other side.
Really reach and then turn those palms up to the ceiling.
Keep your head down.
Keep your bum touching your heels if you can.
And walk those hands to the side.
Really stretch out that back.
Other side.
Hands center.
Shoot those legs back.
And up tall.
Let's go.
Awesome.
Curl your toes under.
Down, dog.
In, heels down.
Get nice and low.
Hang in there.
So good.
Excellent.
And feel that beautiful.
To the hips.
Good.
From here, if it's like your body says no, I get it.
Okay?
But try and tap your knee down.
A little mobility work here.
So good for your hips.
If your body says no, just do what you can.
You can be here.
Okay?
Good job.
Come back center.
So good, so good.
Good.
One more push out.
Have a seat.
Cross one leg over top of the other.
And keep that beautiful stretch.
So good.
Good.
And same leg.
One stretch.
Switch to the other side.
So good.
Switching sides.
Cross it over.
Stretch the same leg.
It just works.
Those legs reach for those hips, ankles, whatever you can get.
Stretch that back side out.
To one side.
Feel that low back.
Nice.
And stretch over.
So good.
Other side.
Slowly come on up.
It's okay.
Other side.
Yay, Nadia.
Love that.
And switch sides.
Aw, thanks Lisa.
You're so sweet.
Alright you guys, thought of the day.
Get the other side.
