Hey everyone, we wanna welcome you to today's podcast.
I'm your host, Don Boyer.
And I'm Melinda Boyer.
Hey, when it comes to AI, how does a believer use it?
How do we use technology?
Well, that's what we're gonna look at
and discover on today's show.
We'll be right back.
So when we talk about AI,
we're delving into a very sensitive subject.
Why do you say sensitive?
Because I think it's, you know, when it first came out,
I thought, oh, this is the answer to all my questions,
right, I can just type in
and it'll give me all the answers that I need
and I won't have to work very hard, right?
Until you get more educated about it.
And it was really interesting
because we talked about this not too long ago
and we brought somebody on the mastermind
and she talked about the AI
and how dangerous it can become, not now, but later on.
And the danger factor I think comes into
because we're feeding it so much information.
And I thought about that and I thought,
wow, because you're asking that thing questions
all the time, right?
Or you're wanting images
and it's like creating these things for you.
But I just, once you look at the whole aspect of it,
you're not really talking to anyone.
Well, when you asked me the question, why is it sensitive?
Can I answer that now?
Yeah, oh yeah, so sorry.
I just went off on a tangent.
Number one, it's sensitive
because people like to argue, right?
They're looking for any subject that they can argue about.
Yeah, we've seen what that can lead to.
But when it comes down to being sensitive,
it really comes down to what's right
and what's wrong with something,
which has been the debate for humanity
since Adam and Eve walked on this planet after the fall.
So when we start talking about technology
and AI, what I wanna do on this podcast
is I wanna go deeper.
I wanna go into the depths.
Ooh, here we go.
Yeah, into the depths of really what this means.
And I'm not saying that everything
that we're gonna share on this show is correct.
We're gonna give you our perspective, our insight,
and then we'll find out exactly how far we can get
on that subject in this show.
Well, I would love to hear from people as well.
Yeah, absolutely.
Absolutely.
Any comments you have, make sure you send them to us.
So let's talk about the whole subject of AI.
So before we do that, let me just start off
by establishing a scripture as a foundation.
And that's found in 2 Timothy, the third chapter,
and the 16th verse.
He writes, all scripture is given by inspiration of God.
Let's make a note of that.
All the Bible is by the inspiration of God.
Or it's inspired by God.
It's inspired by God, it's originated by God.
He is the author and the finisher of it, right?
So he goes on, all scripture is by the inspiration of God
and is profitable.
Let's look at underline that word, profitable.
Okay.
For doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness.
Now that's saying a mouthful,
if we start breaking that down.
Right.
When we look at, when it says that the scripture
was inspired by God, one of the things that I have observed,
and then y'all gonna have to hold onto your shorts
on this one.
One of the things that I have observed in technology,
and by the way, I'm not against technology whatsoever.
I'm very grateful for technology, right?
But when we look at AI, we look at technology,
in my perspective, I don't see AI as technology.
I see AI as using technology.
Okay, that's a different way to look at it.
Because there is a saying in the metaphysical world
and those within what they would call
the spiritual community.
And that's only the group of individuals
that because they have God in their head,
but never have come to the transition part
of bringing them into his heart,
they'll refer to God as the universe.
Right, right.
Or the quantum field, right?
They have a saying, and they'll say universal intelligence,
or they'll use universal laws,
ascribing that to what they can have a definition of God
as universal intelligence, right?
The devil never ever hides anything.
He brings everything out right up front,
but humanity so many times is just drunk
within their own selves.
Yeah, they're blinded by it for sure.
That they don't see it.
Yeah.
So AI is what?
Artificial intelligence.
Well, you said something to me last night
that it made me really kind of think of it.
People are always seeking answers.
People want answers, right?
And we want them now.
So we'll go to anything to figure out what is the answer,
and I want it right now.
And back in 19, gosh, 1970s, I guess,
is when they brought out the Ouija board.
Right, yeah, it was way back then.
Right?
And I remember people talking about it,
and they're saying,
you can get all your answers through this thing, right?
But what are you really tapping into?
Well, that's the thing.
Yes, people were, and they still do get answers,
but like you said, who's answering those questions?
They're demonic spirits.
They're demons that are working through those mechanisms
or protocol of the Ouija board
that's giving people the answers.
Yeah, and is it really life?
You know, in John 6, 63,
the word that I speak to you is life.
Exactly.
So when it talks about the inspiration,
all scripture's inspiration by God or inspired by God,
that's exactly what Jesus was talking about.
The words that I'm speaking to you,
they are spirit and they are life.
They have the Zoe or the life and nature of God in them.
So when we're using AI or we're using even technology,
it can give us information,
but it's not giving us that sustaining life
that the Bible does.
I mean, how far could we go
eating artificial plastic fruit, right?
If we took a banana, a organic banana
that has the life force in it and we eat it,
the body will process the nutrients, the potassium in it
and give life to our body, to our cells.
Now you take that banana like we do at the house
and we eat them sitting there, right?
And it's not too long before they turn dark brown
and then you can't even recognize it.
It looks like a raisin.
Yeah, but those are the best time that you bake with them.
I keep telling you that.
Exactly, but the key is you gotta bake them.
Be a doer of the banana bread,
not just a hero of the banana bread.
So the fact is that eventually that organic thing will die.
But a plastic banana, if we took that thing
and you put it in a time capsule and buried it for 50 years
and brought it out 50 years later,
it's still bright yellow, but it has no life in it.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, and I think the biggest confusion
people are gonna get, I think, from this podcast,
and I don't wanna say confusion,
but I think they're gonna ask questions about that.
Obviously, they ain't confused, they didn't even.
Is that, you know, they're still getting answers
and they're getting them now, right?
But what and who are giving them the answers?
And I think that's the point
that I kind of want to help people understand.
Who are you getting these answers from?
Because is it from the cosmos?
Is it from, you know, where is it coming from?
And where is it gathering this information?
And it was really interesting,
because last night I actually asked AI,
where are you getting your information from
based off the Bible, right?
And it answered me based off of other people inputting,
and what is out there on the internet.
That's how it gathers the information.
So it's gathering information from all sources,
but it's not gathering it from God.
Well, exactly, and here's the thing.
If we look at AI as technology,
then we could kind of go on that basis of information.
But I don't think that AI is technology.
I think that AI, and a lot of people are gonna get mad
and get a lot of pushback, but I'm gonna say it anyway.
I really think that AI is a spirit
and a spirit of the Antichrist
that's designed to take over our children and humanity.
Of course, the devil is never gonna come out
and make things look bad, right?
It's like when you invite him to dinner,
he brings his pajamas.
He will always entice with things that sound good.
In the garden, he told Eve, did God really say that?
Or did he just don't want you to eat him
because you'll be like him?
She was already like him
because God made him in his image.
So when we start diving into this,
there is a difference between AI, artificial intelligence,
but there is a spirit behind that artificial intelligence
that's driving it.
So all the information, like someone says,
I know it's true because I read it on the internet.
And for me, I think as a spirit,
as an individual person, right?
Because we have our spirit, we have our soul.
But is there really an entity,
a live entity on the back end of it?
And I think that's one of the questions
I would love to hear from people to say,
is there really a real entity?
Is there-
You're a writer.
I know, right?
Why do people comment on that?
It would be interesting to see what people have to say
because I think most people are gonna say
there isn't a spirit behind it.
It's intelligence from other people,
like I said when I asked it.
It's from other people, it's from computers,
it's from people gathering information
and putting it all together.
But is there spirit behind it?
And you think about it, right?
This just kind of came to me.
Thank you, Lord.
Is there a spirit behind it?
Yes, it's people's spirit behind it.
And whether it's good, bad, or indifferent.
Yeah, and that's true.
I mean, I do agree with that.
But when we start looking at this,
we did a show on quantum physics.
We did a podcast on the Bible and science.
And if you haven't watched that,
I encourage you to go back and watch that podcast.
You'll get a lot out of it.
But when we look at it from a scientific platform
or perspective, we know that everything that we hear,
everything that we see, we're literally being brainwashed.
We are being programmed.
Right.
So we know that the way the brain is created,
that it's programmable from childhood.
Even before we're born, while we're in our mother's womb,
we're being programmed.
So when we look at technology, we look at AI,
it is literally programming us
or brainwashing us with information
that's artificial or it's not alive.
The Bible is the only thing that is alive.
When we talk about alive,
we're talking about that contains God's spirit.
Right.
Right, or his spoken word.
Now, here's another thing.
We talk about the show and named it Rhema,
which is the Greek word for the English word
we translated W-O-R-D.
Logos in the beginning was a word
and the word was with God and the word was God.
Rhema, W-O-R-D, is talking about the said word of God.
So when you want an instant answer,
you can get it right on AI or the internet.
So why are you gonna pray?
You can always get instant messages from God.
Well, that's not why it's designed.
But here's the thing.
People are lazy.
That's all of us.
So we always seek the path of least resistance.
So if I gotta go in my prayer class and pray for an hour
before I get the answer from God
and I can get it in less than a nanosecond on the internet,
human nature is going to be driven to that.
Right.
Yeah, for sure.
So it dummies us down.
It moves us away from our dependency upon God
or the main thing is relationship.
The thing that Satan was after in the garden
was he wanted to break the relationship
between Adam and Eve and God.
Well, and I think it takes away our imagination.
I think it takes away the fact
that we are not utilizing our brain
the way it should be utilized, right?
Exactly.
You know, I'll just go to AI.
I'll let it figure out what I really want, right?
Where I really wanna go in my life.
And I think that's kind of putting a damper on ourselves,
you know, not being able to really utilize
who we are in spirit and in God.
Yeah, and I'm not saying that we shouldn't use technology.
What I'm saying is, and you know, people are gonna say
that, well, you need to be responsible.
Yes.
You know, you have to have discernment.
Yes.
You know, you have to be very particular
what you're using it with and how you use it.
Yeah, but we don't do that.
We all know it.
Right.
But very few actually do it
because we get caught up in the entire moment.
We're like the frog in the pan
that gets the heat turned up until, right?
They become frog legs.
Until they go.
So going back to all of this,
what I'm saying is I would like for us to identify,
is there a spirit behind AI?
He tells you it's artificial intelligence.
Yeah.
Right?
It's not God's intelligence speaking to you.
It's artificial intelligence.
How far can your human spirit be fed
on artificial information?
Well, you know, I think one of the scary things is,
when I first heard this lady tell us about AI
and how much information it's getting
and we're utilizing our own spirit, right?
To feed this thing, right?
So think of it in five to 10 years
of how much information is really gonna be in AI
and what can it do to harm us?
Well, I mean, we could really go into this.
It's going deep.
But even technology going back into cloning.
Right.
I don't know how many versions I heard
of Sleepy Joe walking around, right?
That's always on the internet, right?
Look at how he's walking here and look at this.
Yeah, so, but I do know this
because the guest that we had on there that was an expert
and her whole business is centered around cloning
and technology and AI.
If it's said where you can literally clone yourself,
you don't have to be around your voice and everything else.
Well, AI is doing it now.
Yeah, exactly.
AI is cloning.
They have apps now that you can load up pictures
of any celebrity you want.
And you'll be interacting with them.
They'll have their arm around you.
They'll talk to you.
All through artificial intelligence technology.
Yeah.
So it becomes a point, a place of being
so much in the virtual world, you lose reality.
What's happening to our children?
They are glued to these games.
They're glued to AI.
They're glued to technology.
What are they going to become?
What are they gonna be like when they get into adulthood?
Yeah.
You see, I mean, like my grandmother
used to always tell my mom.
She says, you know, when you get old,
nobody wants your bones, right?
That's how technology is.
And that's how the Satan is, right?
You know, the old folks about, you know,
falling apart and ready to,
they got one foot in the grave
and the other one on a banana peel.
They don't care about that.
They're after the young children now.
In kindergarten, three-year-olds
know how to work a computer,
know how to work games.
Everything they're being taught now
is through AI and technology.
What are they gonna be like?
Yeah, they're, well, you know, it's interesting
because we have a granddaughter who is in college now
and I told her, are you using AI to get all your answers?
She says, no, grandma.
There's an actual way, I guess a lot of the colleges,
or that they can actually tell
that if you've got your answers
or your homework from AI.
I said, really?
She says, oh yeah.
She says, we're not allowed to do that.
She says, if we utilize anything from AI,
they will know it.
So I thought that was kind of interesting
how, you know, is there some kind of code maybe behind it?
Is there some way that they can find out?
Even Amazon, I don't know if they're doing it now,
but at one point, Amazon was not allowing
or taking books that was written by AI.
Yeah, I remember that.
And they had the software and technology to detect it.
But actually, you know, anybody with one eye
could detect if a book was written by, you know, AI.
Well, you get a picture
and you do your own picture with AI.
Have you ever found out that you only have three fingers?
You know, that's another thing.
What's up with that, right?
I mean, they know how to do the face perfectly,
but you come out with six fingers.
Yeah, yeah, now I found that really to be very interesting.
So, you know, I know we're running out of time,
but it comes down to this.
We have to be a individual that does our own research.
We have to come to that point and to that place
where we ask God for our own selves.
Where does this play into my life?
Because at the end of the day, like the Apostle Paul said,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Meaning this, I nor anybody else could tell you
whether it's right or wrong to use AI or technology.
That's between you and God and you got to figure out.
What we're here to do is just to open up the bag of worms,
right, to talk about AI and talk about technology.
And once again, I am not saying
that my perspective is correct on this.
I'm sharing my perspective as I see it today.
Amen to that, amen to that.
Will I change?
I don't think so, but maybe.
Well, I love the fact that we brought this up.
So remember, like, share this,
and we would love to hear from you.
And we'll see you on the next podcast here
at Raymond Seed TV.
Bye for now.
