Our next skater represents a Belgium 13-year-old Lelou Remeshen.
This is the first Junior Grand Prix season, second event this fall, placing 11th in Ankara.
And this program made your must-watch moment, Ted, the fourth. Great piece to Adam's family.
13-year-old Lelou Remeshen showcasing a lot of what I assume is lessons learned from Ankara there.
She started well in her free skate and then went on to make mistakes and then three falls.
On this occasion she had a mistake on the triple toe, one of her easiest elements early in the
program and yet rallied hard and made sure that she was still able to deliver and not let her
succumb to that early mistake. Yeah, I think on that last triple lutz element number eight I saw
a big smile come on her face because she, you know, fought back and had really good elements
after that one mistake. And she not only has the jump elements and the spins, she has obviously a
character and a performance. Yeah, and as we see this perfect interpretation of the choreography
by Benoit Richaud. This was actually the first of the reveals online that I saw of the program
concept and it was so well done by Benoit and the team and it paved the way for others, I think,
to conquer that kind of reveal online of the concept behind the program as we see triple flip
double toe. And here's the look at the triple toe loop here. This was problematic. It just
over rotated with the upper body, lost the edge, but that was it. That was the only mistake. Here's
the triple loop. The rest of these elements are really solid and there's an under rotation on
that triple loop. Here's the triple lutz into the double axel into another double axel and all three
of those were clean. That was 14 and a half points for that one element there. Wow.
She just continued to take them off. Yeah, and that was a beautiful triple lutz. Nice and clean landing.
And as we see that amazing, you know, clarity of position on the layback and then the clarity of
storytelling to finish. It was a left forward outside edge spiral, cat's foot spiral, cross
catch. I think it was a choreo sequence where Lilou was choreographing with a free arm as well.
The depth of the edge was amazing and she was still performing within it. And little moments like that
to me showcase a skater that I look forward to seeing like new material from. I kind of think,
oh, her mom was her coach and her choreographer, Benoit, going to come up with in the future.
Yeah, exactly. Because now they've got the storyline that she's she's going to tell a story.
She's going to create entertainment as much as art and sport or as well as art and sport. And so
it puts the expectation of what you're going to do next, which puts the pressure on Benoit or anybody
else, you know. But that's what's exciting about this skater, because you're going to be expecting
more like she's been delivering here this season. So, you know, you kind of want to have the
attention. She's got it. Yeah. Yeah. And I feel then if we can raise and elevate the importance
of that in the sport, that might then connect with more people outwith the realms of the sport.
Taking taking something like, you know, the Adams Family concept, the Wednesday Adams concept,
creating something online with it. So, you know, people are on social media all the time, see it
and drag that audience into the sport and keep them here. She's dragged them in. It was a bit
intense, dragging, kicking them, going over reach their mark. You get near the end of the night,
you're getting dramatic yourself. Become an ice skating fan. Yeah.
Let's take a look at the scores. She has a ninety five point four six is her season's best.
But this is the season's best of one oh six point eight zero. And tilt of the head by the coach
too much. One sixty two point three six. That'll put her in second place overall.
That's very solid, very solid skater program and result. She wants more. Good.
That's always good. She'll get it. Yeah. Great job.
