IS TODAY THE DAY?! | Breaking 60 On 6000y Golf Course

so once a month i try to break 60 the elusive 60 threshold but i'm doing it from 6 000 yards this isn't uh from the tips but this isn't a pitch and putt done it five times and every time i've done it we've come close but we've done those rounds first thing in the morning gonna switch it up for the sixth attempt it's about noon and try in the middle of the day and maybe this will be the day where things go my way what do you say [Music] [Music] so just a wee bit of break on that one holy cow oh scrappy start slow start oh man and you're not gonna shoot 59 if you're hitting it 15 20 feet all day gotta dig deep now all right we're cutting gotta go this way the grain's going that way it had to have broken that way oh that's so frustrating two weeks in a row awesome drive two months in a row i've hit great tee shots and then just missed the eagle putt [Music] wow that had some serious break to it back to back let's go [Music] all right got an uphill putt for eagle ugh oh deadpan high just [Music] do it do it [Music] [Laughter] oh hell yeah back on the berry train let's go let's go let's go [Music] ah tried to sling it and run it but front of the green how did it go up the hill the hills this way the grain this way and it went here that's a kick in the nuts ah man bit of a slow start part of the first three but we caught a bit of fire there five under on the last six we're 500 making the turn you know the drill you do the math i got to shoot 800 on the back nine and i think the best we've done in the back is seven maybe eight i don't remember definitely will need an eagle to really make this a chance starting to hit it pretty well i just need to hit it closer not hitting it close enough to really make a lot of putts so it's back nine we gotta get aggressive on a couple of these short par fours and par fives hit it close make some putts make an eagle and shoot eight under and shoot 59. played that thing perfectly up the right side we're basically green high a soft green apparently so let's uh hold this [Laughter] oh my gosh that one hopped in the [ __ ] hole oh my gosh i'm not turning the camera off just so you guys believe me holy [ __ ] holy [ __ ] holy [ __ ] holy [ __ ] look at this oh my gosh oh my gosh there is no ball there because that thing one hopped slam dunk in the hole four two holy crap in your life that's the best shot i've ever hit on youtube or ever caught on video oh my gosh here we go here we go here we go there it is eagle on to the 11th can we do two in a row hit a great drive right in front of the green [Music] good catch-all oh let's go let's go oh yeah go go go go go go go go go damn it oh shoot [Music] that sucked well that was a really crappy eight iron look how inviting this was for a smooth eight iron if you tow it over here but we've made longer shots for eagle today okay nine under your 13. that's kind of the benchmark i wanted so we have to get four in the last five oh damn it andrew that could be it you gotta get lucky to save power here oh i tried to cut it and i drew it in the hazard i do have some kind of shot i basically feel like a bunker shot out of mud oh wish me luck holy [ __ ] oh my gosh holy cow i'll tap pat that in with this muddy look at that it was just pure kind of soft mud wow getting a little sloppy these last two irons four holes left four birdies [Music] i mean you're not expecting to make those but that's just rude to at least give us a chance but once again no birdie on a par three oh there's three holes left and we need to play them four under one of them is a par five so there's a chance for an eagle there 16 i could try to really get aggressive with driver and hit it as close to the screen as possible and maybe one hop something in for a two and then 18 birdie there's still a chance but we need magic we need some magic so anyone out there that's a magician watching just you know conjure a little harry potter spell and uh hopefully these last three holes can have some fireworks [Music] oh that had a really good look at it it's like three feet okay good job dude okay are you going to break keep cutting keep cutting keep cutting okay bounce off the pins front left though so this is gonna be a blind shot bummer that sucked oh man just some really bad irons on this back nine shoot feels like the last good iron shot i hit was the par three man just burning strokes i am a little dejected not gonna lie it has nothing to do with score some people be like oh i feel like it's not about score this is a challenge we're trying to accomplish and it requires everything and got a whole out this second shot here to shoot 59 but man it looked so promising there after after 11 after 12 and then the iron play has just gotten poor not hitting it close enough and it's gonna come down to the difference of essentially two strokes maybe even one so frustrating you know what we got to do needs to go in 88 yards gotta land a little short roll it in like a putt short right at it for short damn it it's good shot though it's almost like knowing that like i just like so demoralized over that putt this is a terrible stroke uh i hope you enjoyed that video um there were some fireworks give it a thumbs up if you did starting to lose my patience tell you what though six attempts i don't know what it's gonna take i just have to birdie some par threes man that's it we'll see you in the next one peace
