2021 Holiday Box Unboxing | Lisa Bongean | Primitive Gatherings

Hey everyone, it's Lisa Bonjean from Primitive Gatherings and today we are going to reveal our holiday box from 2021. So whether you bought this for yourself or you got it as a gift, we're here now to show everybody what was in our holiday box. So first of all it came in this very pretty printed box and then the first thing you get is a thank you from us for purchasing this because we find it awesome that you purchase these from us, gives us great opportunities to bring you lots of cool things for a discounted price. So the first thing in the box is strawberry ice cream tulip mat. So this is the kit, a whole big kit and I know I must be some fabric bunnies and dust bunnies in there. I know I blew the budget on this box but I don't care, you guys are worth it. So this big runner is the strawberry ice cream tulip. So that is like a real name of a tulip. So one of those real fluffy ones that has all that to it. So here this is and if you don't like mats you could also have made this into a pillow that would work as well. So kind of give you a kind of a close-up of it. Nice little picture of that and it's really cool modeled hand-dyed wool there in the middle of that tulip. All right let's look to see some of the other goodies in here. So we have snowman socks. This was one of my designs from the Yuletide gathering panel so that's fun to see the socks. Now that I think about it I don't think I got my pair of socks of this that was designed. So that's fun because winter lasts longer than Christmas does so that's why we went with the snowman. And then we have six caramels in the holiday box instead of the normal two. And then this is one of my most favorite things in here. I'm going to open it up so I can repackage it right. Okay so these are magnets or needle minders but they're all have quilty names or quilt sayings on it. Quilting is sheer delight with the scissors. Then we have hands off my stash which is tools. Live life one stitch at a time. Quilters know all the angles. Of course we had to put a primitive gatherings logo and then love to quilt. So you can save these all for yourself or you can give them to some of your favorite quilting friends. Those would make nice little gifts as well. And Judy our customer service person her her let's see her Gary her Gary son and daughter-in-law make those for us. I don't think they're married so I would I didn't want to call her her boyfriend but her man. All right urban farmhouse two you have a charm pack of that in there to do whatever you want with that. We all know there's tons of charm pack patterns out there for nickel quilt and then the last big project in here is called follow your soul. So here's that kit but then I show it on here as a pillow or a mat because if I'm really honest I wanted to make a pillow but I didn't have enough room up here on my fabric to make a pillow because I knew I wanted an oval in shape on on the pillow but I forgot about the corners so I didn't put it nicely on my fabric so I made it into a mat. But now you have an option because you know you can make it into a pillow or a mat whichever way you want. Just make sure you don't cut off your corners like I did. So this it has some stitching on it embroidery stitches words and then some fun little flowers all nice colors all over the place and then I just spray basted this mat but you could quilt it if you wanted to or if you have that time but I just spray basted the layers and then put a bias binding on it. So that is the second big project in the box and that is the end of our holiday box. Now your holiday box is not part of the subscription it's an extra box that we offer every year and you sign up ahead of time and it ships in December. So we feel very confident that everybody's gotten their box now we did ship them out UPS so they've all made their homes and now we're ready to let everybody know what was in our Primitive Gatherings 2021 holiday box. So I hope you get in next year's. Thanks everyone. Have a great day.
