Sam Kerr makes her first start on home soil in 763 days! 🏡 🐐

There she is, back on home soil, starting for the Matildas for the first time in over two years. Sam Kerr, back with the cadets' armbands. Inside to Kerr, a little go to Ellie Carpenter. This is a nice play from the Matildas, Caitlin Vaughan. The best moment of that was the most simple bit. The pass from Sam Kerr first time had opened up the opportunity completely. Again, the target between Kerr, a really good one-touch play. Spins around, it's Kerr, bunge again. Releases inside to Rasso, who puts a little nudge in the back, and Alana Kennedy! Sam Kerr shielding the ball nicely. The tracking run on Hayley Rasso, just not good enough from Foster. Nice little touch, Hayley Rasso inside again, it's Kerr. Tap his header, finds Kerr, releases Ford. Ford can charge down, Caitlin Ford with one to beat, just the goalkeeper! It's Kerr again, back to goal, releasing nicely.
