we're gonna do the walking tour site by site of juniper cove ray roberts lake state park
johnson branch unit of course you know all that so we're gonna go that away we're gonna start
right here with number 19 that's a good site except it's right here at the trail
and your table's at the back so your door right there we're at a park host but the bathroom is
really convenient it's more convenient than it is for me because that's the closest shower for
walnut loop right now site number 24 runs uphill pretty flat side to side tables in the wrong
place no shade 20 double site tables in the back no shade 29 be hard to get level small trailer
looks pretty pretty hinky there and 21 nice and flat but there again tables all the way at the
back not convenient to your patio 22 22 looks good i lost a late afternoon shade i like where
the table and the fire i like that layout i like that site that's a good one we're getting over
here into the prairie lots of overflow parking they do not want you parking on the grass
handicap site was convenient for the dumpster site number one no sun i mean no shade
lots of sun and no shade ah and here we see a perfect example of a double site being
used it's in there pretty good site looks good too number two very flat notice they have
they have not had to deploy any blocks no blocks 39 open prairie no shade you do have a shade
structure that's one thing i've noticed that over here you get they give you some shade
because there's no trees except number four number four does not have a shade you have to suffer
embrace the shuck 38 very flat shade structure plastic top table oh that's full connection
there's a sewer line right there i bet that was a host site and number five that's a nice flat
pull through with no shade no shade i think that was a park host site because this is also
these three are parkers and this one has been here a while i think they're here full time
number six number six has got some slope look how far down oh you should never do that
you should never do that he's got his hitch jack off the blocks my full weight is on his
don't raise your hitch jack you'll blow out your stabilizers
number seven nice and flat really deep very little shade 35 very level late afternoon shade
so number number eight very steep lots of grade don't put a motor home in that one
sites at the picnic tables at the rear everything's at the back too afternoon shade
34 it's got a lot of slope to it also oh so that's a park host site number nine water access
some slope no shade everything's at the back 13 lots of slope very very shallow not too deep
and everything is at the back they do that a lot here number 10 everything's at the back
got some slope looks pretty good 32 you gotta climb stairs uh no afternoon shade
plenty of parking spaces though i guess you could say you have water access
have a water view 31 i like kind of like 31 it's not very deep though and it's got some slope
number 11 if you want to fish at night this is your site it does run downhill make sure you
got good brakes because if you keep going chalk your wheels on your trailers the same goes for
this next site which this would probably this is my favorite site on on this loop it does have a
bit of a slope to it running down towards the water but it is well worth blocking up this
corner in site number 12 just because you've got this view two beautiful oak trees you got plenty
of shade on your rv you have water access you have stairs but you know you can't have it all
and then we have another one of those pocket sites we cut the pocket out of the hill that's
better than having it like they do over at hauntsville state park site number 30 he had
to block his front i like that one too there's a site number 13 and 29 a pocket site little rv no
climb stairs so 14 is a good site if you have a big motor home and you want water access
but there's no shade it does run downhill so you'll be blocking that corner 28 pocket site
no stairs that's a pretty nice one it does have some grade to it though
15 as you can see you can put a 45 foot coach in there that's one of the few water access sites
that are large enough to accommodate that size of an rv 127 it runs down to the street
i like the layout though table and stuff is in the right place this is a good one here double
16 it's a double parking spot lots of shade water access this is perfect this is the perfect site
number 16 not not quite as perfect as the other one oh practically perfect that's how we say it
there's 17 double parking site looks like it runs downhill to that corner
nice picnic table set up shade there a little bit of shade on the rv
and 24 is a pocket site lots of steps lots of shade though that's a good shade there
double parking space number 18 it runs downhill to that corner
tables in the back no water access and it brings us full circle now you know
all right i'm gonna close it out i'm gonna do a standard close out for all of these
