Pilots of the Third Assault Brigade released video of FPV drones operating against Russian occupiers in the village of Nove, Donetsk Oblast, as part of the offensive operation "Operation Vivaldi ." The footage shows soldiers seeking out and destroying enemy personnel, camouflaged quadcopters, and cannons, while kamikaze drones strike enemy positions before the Russians can even react.

On October 1, the Third Army Corps press service reported on its Telegram channel about the fighters' work against the occupiers . According to the corps, FPV trios in the Novoye area worked so closely that they spread the invaders thinly across the town.

"The enemy's drones don't have time to take off, and the infantry doesn't have time to escape," the Third Army Corps said in a statement.

The footage of the pilots at work is accompanied by classical music, consistent with the overall musical theme that the Third Assault Brigade uses to accompany coverage of Operation Vivaldi. Operation Vivaldi's name was not chosen by chance – it directly references the work of the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi. There is no official confirmation that the name was borrowed from a specific piece, such as Concerto alla rustica RV 151, the music of which accompanied the video of the destruction of the occupiers. However, the Third Corps consistently uses musical metaphors in its communications, comparing the coordinated work of infantry, artillery, and drones during the offensive to the sound of an orchestra.

The name of the offensive operation north of Liman was chosen because of the planned "four seasons" of combat operations, as well as because several officers involved in its development had musical backgrounds. The Third Corps explained the rationale behind the name: in a modern offensive, all elements must operate in unison—"like an orchestra."

"In order to maintain our personnel and at the same time advance, to advance at all in 2026 in that kill zone, in that frontline position, it can only be an orchestra, when all elements are important," said Alexander Borodin, spokesman for the Third Army Corps.

According to Borodin, it was the need for coordinated work between infantry, artillery, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare that inspired the musical theme in the title. The operation was conducted largely under a regime of information silence, and according to the Third Corps, 176 square kilometers of territory within its boundaries have already been recaptured.
