AI GeneratedCho Nguyen's company is redefining the classic car experience by building luxury vehicles that blend timeless vintage aesthetics with modern technology. By constructing classic-inspired bodies around modern chassis, the company provides the reliability, safety, and comfort of new cars with the style of the past, catering to high-end clients and celebrities.
It's 925.
Well, classic cars have a look many drivers love,
but they don't always come with the reliability
and the safety of today's vehicles.
But one local company is changing that.
They're building modern vehicles with the style of the past.
And Good Days Kim Loeffler shows us how
that idea grew from one man's dream.
For as long as Cho Nguyen can remember,
cars have been more than a hobby.
So I grew up just loving cars, dreaming of cars.
and I basically used that as my motivation in life to go out
and be successful so that I could
buy cars one day. I never knew that I'd be building them one day
but it was essentially
what I was meant to do. He started buying old cars
but while the vehicles looked great they
came with plenty of problems.
And so it pretty much was a necessity of mine to figure out how
do we make it better how do we make it where
you can actually drive it. That idea became the
foundation for his Buford company.
Instead of simply restoring an old car, the team starts
with a modern vehicle and then builds a classic-inspired luxury
car around it. And that's
how you get modern-day technology, reliability, and safety.
The finished product comes with a
luxury price tag. These vehicles sell for more than $200,000.
But for customers willing to pay
that price, the appeal is having the best of both worlds.
The timeless look of a classic car
with the comfort, safety, and reliability of a modern one.
Having all of the things that you're
used to in your modern car
and not having to give that up is a big priority for people,
especially at this price point.
The company says social media has also helped fuel its growth,
showcasing the vehicles and the people who build them,
even attracting some celebrity clients.
So far, they've shipped out over 500 cars.
They'll soon be launching a new model
and moving into a new factory to keep up with demand.
We're also expanding to a new factory that'll
be three times the size of this building.
And then we're adding 100 people to our team to launch the new model
and to prepare for you know the future growth.
For Wynn, the success is still rooted
in the same passion that started it all.
You know, I still walk through here,
and I'm still a kid chasing a dream.
And if you love something, I think you'll be relentless about it.
And so one thing that we're big on here is passion.
It's clear to see Wynn's dream isn't in the rearview mirror.
It's the driving force on his road to success.
In Buford, Kim Loeffler for Good Day Atlanta.
