World Series: Primo parade viewing with Pfister Hotel package

Again, it is so exciting to be in Milwaukee and the excitement's really going to be continuing tomorrow. We were talking about the parade with Mayor Cavalier Johnson when he joined us just a little bit ago and the parade route's going to be a ton of fun. And if you're thinking, how do I make the most of this opportunity? And tomorrow, I want to go ahead and bring in our next guest joining us here, Barka Daly with the Pfister. First of all, how are we feeling today? Feeling so electric. I love the lightning bolt earrings because that's how I would describe this city right now. I had to be a part of it. I mean, this is the historic moment, not just for the city, but for the whole state. Yes, absolutely. Okay, so talk to me a little bit about what you guys are doing. You're planning ahead for the Brewers Parade, and you have some pretty special opportunities for anyone who might be coming from out of town or might be looking to make it a staycation. Oh, absolutely. For all the guests near and far, right, we have the Brewers Championship Package, where you can come and stay at the hotel. There are rooms that are going to be overlooking the parade itself. We will have $50 credit for anywhere for you to celebrate, do a toast upstairs at the Blue, or come to Mason Street Grill. We have gated bleachers area, so you can be right next to all of the players that brought home the trophy as well. So that's one of the multiple different celebrations we're going to be doing. And like I said, a VIP package right on the sidewalk so you can see the parade pass right by you and really be a part of the celebration. Yeah. What is that like for you guys to be, you know, such a prime location along the parade route that you can offer this? And also, I mean, sometimes these can become a little bit overwhelming. They're very crowded situations that maybe not have to fight the crowd, but still get to see the parade. oh this is so exciting uh this is not the first time we've been a part of this when milwaukee bucks won the championship uh the parade went through as uh this route as well so we've been here before right now get to celebrate the baseball team and bringing home this first title it's going to be exciting the team is excited everybody's excited to be here be a part of this make it an experience and be a part of history yeah what has it just been like at the Fischer, I mean, these last couple of days as these World Series games kind of played out, I imagine some of your guests have been following maybe big Brewers fans, maybe Tampa Bay Rays fans. But still, what has it just been like to get to kind of celebrate, especially today? Oh, you know, the celebration, like you said, it started since we got into the playoff from L.A. Dodgers staying here. You know, we are the MLB hotel. So the celebration has been nonstop. right the only time we get a little bit of break would be the time when they are traveling and it doesn't matter if it's a away game or a home game we have guests from all over the world who are into the baseball and coming and staying with us so and bringing it home today and being able to celebrate what happened last night was just i don't know i don't have words to express that uh but being able to part of the celebration and being in the heart of Milwaukee this iconic hotel right uh the Fischer hotel the Marcus family all iconic for over 130 years and then this title and celebration of it it's um i don't know it's um it's magical yes oh i think that's a perfect word to describe it this is magical and it's one of those moments where you know you're a part of history and you get to just enjoy that and live in it and sit in this feeling of excitement and joy and knowing what this team means to the state and that they've done it that they've won the World Series i love your idea here kind of after maybe watching the parade even if we aren't staying at the Fischer but after they kind of left to go up to Blue and to do a celebratory toast because it's a gorgeous view of Milwaukee and you can see the Summerfest grounds pretty well from up there yeah lots of celebration going throughout the city and you know the parade ends there lots of uh exciting things happening over there as well so you know staying here celebrating there maybe walk to Summerfest, right? It's just another day in Wisconsin of celebrating some festival but this is the most iconic one ever, yes, oh absolutely okay, anybody watching thinking this sounds perfect to me, how can they go about making some reservations and solidifying their plans Oh, just go to our Pfister Hotel website. All right Barker, I would be slightly remiss if I didn't ask you about the Pfister and sometimes, you know, the rumors we hear about some baseball players maybe not wanting to stay there, feeling like it maybe is, you know, a little spooky. What's your response to all these rumors we hear? Oh, my goodness. I don't know if it's a rumor. It's really a true story. But, you know, what I say, the spirit that really haunts us is the spirit of hospitality. remember that we were just named one of the top 25 hotels in the world so of course we're haunted haunted by the spirit of hospitality, oh my gosh I love that but also I mean maybe we owe you guys a thank you, maybe if you spooked out some of these Rays players, you guys helped us get here as well I can't tell you that, that's our own secret, lips are sealed, all right we're just saying maybe they helped us get to this parade tomorrow, you are the best, I think this is going to be so much fun and again what a fun location for you guys to be right along the route and i just think Milwaukee is going to be the place to be tomorrow absolutely it is and i hope you stop by i'm going to be there right like just enjoying and being part of the energy yes oh absolutely Barca thank you so much for joining us here on Fox 6 now again a great opportunity to go to the fest or tomorrow add it to your plans if you're already thinking ahead to the parade or the rally and again blue is gorgeous i think that'd be a great opportunity to go maybe after the buses have kind of passed and you want to see from a bird's eye view the Summerfest grounds it's going to be really fun all right take
